Why didn’t that marine in uniform have his cover on? Totally without military bearing. He did not show me that he was worthy to be called a marine. He showed me he could bark like a dog, which is what he is trained to do with recruits. I noticed the copper didn’t do squat either. She should have chased the marine in uniform down and given him a ticket for what appears to be reckless driving (I heard tire squeal). A letter of apology and return of the cover to the person protesting would be a good start.
First off, if you don’t know any of the history or the situation between the covered civilian or the Marine that you state has no bearing then don’t express your first amendment with such ignorance. Secondly, the issue at hand goes a lot deeper between Arguello and the Marine that you have seen here, and those matters were internal and have been handled with Marin Corps order and jurisdiction. The fact that this happened is not exemplary of the Marine or the Corps for that matter however not everything you always see is exactly as the perception portrays. So remember that unless you have all the surrounding knowledge of the entire history and situation don’t assume to know what is going off and who needs to apologize.

I could not have responded any better. Thanks for the info.
Adam very well put. To many times people only see part of a situation and run with it to blow it out of proportion.
Adam, what’s the rest of the “internal” story? Help all of us put it in the correct context.
