You Can’t Spell Triumph Without Trump

Make America Great Again. (r/The_Donald)

The number of employed Americans achieved its 22nd record high during President Trump’s presidency. Unemployment set another low. The unemployment rate, 3.5% as of last month, set a nearly 50-year record low.

Employment numbers went up for health care, professional service, business service, and government. However, manufacturing lost 2,000 jobs.

From CNS News:

Of the 164,039,000 who were in the labor force, 5,769,000 were unemployed, which put the unemployment rate at a 50-year low of 3.5 percent.

The unemployment rate for Hispanics, 3.9 percent in September, has never been this low. The unemployment rate for blacks remained at the record low of 5.5 percent set in August.

Among the other major worker groups, the unemployment rate for whites declined to 3.2 percent last month. For adult men, the jobless rate was 3.2 percent; adult women, 3.1 percent; teenagers, 12.5 percent; Asians, 2.5 percent.

The job numbers were revised up for both July and August 2019. There are those who argue that this economy, to include setting good performance numbers like this, was something that President Trump inherited from President Obama. Some have argued that the current president is riding the previous president’s economic coattails.

The fact that the economic engine reacted positively when President Trump won in 2016… Then “took off” after President Trump reversed many of the last president’s policies… Appears to be invisible to the folks that credit the previous administration for the current economic performance.

These numbers show that conservative economic policies are realistic and support economic growth. “Progressive” economic policies; however, are like laxatives to someone who has diarrhea.

You could read more details on CNS News.

“Make Libtards Cry Again” works too.

It’s “libturds”…..

So this is what a country under attack from it’s president looks like. Prosperity? The Democrats are literally against prosperity. We knew that. They’re just open about it now. Just like they embrace socialism like a horny teenager clutching his Japanese anime body pillow.

rgr769

They only care about their own prosperity, which they are happy to enjoy at the expense of the rest of us peasants, whom they want as subjects instead of citizens with Constitutional rights. They sort of remind me of the slave masters of the Antebellum South who thought their slaves were so much better off in their servitude cuz otherwise there would be no one to take care of them.

A Proud Infidel®™

IMHO you’re absolutely right. Liberal pols are ONLY concerned about amassing as much wealth and control as they can over others and once gained, they are only concerned about keeping it much like the Venezuelan elite and wealthy starve the common Citizens of their Nation.

SOCIALISM SUCKS!!!

AW1Ed

Thanks for the visual, Mason. Yuk.

Andrew Yang was in Portsmouth, NH recently. He basically admitted a recession would help his campaign.

So there you have it. Good for Democrats, bad for Americans.

It is difficult to argue with someone whose mind is made up. It is even more difficult to argue with someone whose mind went out the window long ago at the sight of a red baseball cap or red t-shirt.

Aaah! Screw ’em! If you have someone from another country who has job skills, and maybe/maybe not a degree of some kind like math, applying for a job and someone else from this country with a degree in gender studies but no job skills applying for the same job, who ya gonna hire? (Leave the coffeeshops out of the equation.)

Hopefully Trump will out Trump the A Hole Demorats on their Trumped up impeachment charges.

I normally stick to the phonies with my blog comments,
but today’s political revelations are significant.

Schiff credibility = 0.
Lied about 1 month advance contact with whistleblower.

Whistleblower credibility = 0
Did not disclose 1 month of contact with Schiff to the IG.

All out in the open today.

Conservative economic policies? I’ll have what you’re smoking.

Slow Joe

I like cheese….

GDContractor

I missed the part where you predicted massive deficit spending and ballooning national debt. Care to predict how that ends? Compounding interest is a bitch (in the real world) .

GDContractor

The topic I addressed was you felting Trump (again) by falsely claiming that he has “conservative economic policies”.

He doesn’t.

I’m sure that the seagull will show up soon spewing his empirical data showing how wrong you are. In my personal observations, the day after dTrumpster was elected, business picked up…considerably so. Anyone that wants a job has one. Anyone that wants a better job can get one. Anyone that doesn’t have a job don’t want one.

Prove me wrong. I’ll wait right here.

UpNorth

Things around here are so good that big employers are having to add space to their employee parking lots. Some employees have to park on flat, grassy areas, while the contractors are laying out additions to the parking lots.

There’s a tool and die place about 6 blocks from here that has a sign on the curve near their building, Help Wanted-Free Health Care Insurance Provided Immediately.

Thunderstixx

The economy in Austin Texas and the rest of Texas is literally on fire.
Driving all over Austin like I do I must see at least 2 dozen help wanted signs with McDonalds and Whataburger starting wages over $13.00.
Skilled trades are even higher and the only reason we have so many homeless is because the mayor, Adler has seen fit to allow them any kind of domicile they want under bridges, on private property or wherever they want.
They have no sanitation and people are starting to shit everywhere here as the libturds turn this into San Fran East……
There’s no excuse in this economy for anyone being homeless.
When they took the shame out of being a bum we got a shitload of bums….

AW1Ed

“…as the libturds turn this into San Fran East……”

Sorry to hear this. WTF are these Libtard mayors thinking? We have some homeless here, but our Sheriff takes a dim view of any shenanigans and comes down hard when necessary. This goes a long way in keeping more homeless elsewhere.
Go figure.

A friend of mine just got back from a business trip in Portland, Oregon. All he said was “wow, what the fuck did they do to that city?!”

11B-Mailclerk

Progressives.

Cultural AIDS.

I live in farm land, several commenters say that I’m full of shit saying that farmers are doing well. Yes they are doing well. Last year the largest Mellon grower out here plowed under hundreds of thousand dollars worth of mellows because the price dropped. They received the gov benefits because the foreign kickbacks. Mexican mellows sold cheaper. The Midwest farmers are not the only farmers, California out ranks them all.

Slow Joe

I don’t understand.
Are you saying farmers are doing well or are they losing money?
Your post was very confusing.

SgtM

California farmers are doing very well. Especially the alfalfa farmers. They store it to run up the market. The Mellon farmers watch the market. If American mellons drop to low, they plow them under and take the insurance. Yes I live here. Garlic and the super onion ‘genetically grown’ are still in high demand. Kale is a crop but they make fun of it and sell it to the city crowd.

11B-Mailclerk

The state of our economy is largely opinion. The participants express their individual opinion by consuming or investing, or refraining.

If people are confident, they do more. If concerned or fearful, they shift or refrain.

Much of the current Kerfluffel in DC may be an effort to talk us into a lack of confidence, thus “refrain”, thus recession. The thinking is that recessions sink incumbents.

Of course, if someone has solid numbers to wave, that guy can say “you are full of crap, and desperate”, and folks can express their agreement by spending and investing.

Some folks base their ambitions and goals around prosperity, confidence, and folks climbing the ladder as they are inspired to try and able. Others say only misery is real, must be allocated, and you can’t have any real good unless your patron provides it, serf.

Which one goes to the moon first, and has overflowing grocery shelves?

Our -poor- have as their biggest health problem, eating too much.

11B-Mailclerk

I will drop this here, as the thread is already “stirred” a bit.

https://www.americanthinker.com/articles/2019/10/putin_and_trump__two_contrasting_conservatisms.html

The article itself is worth reading. However, my comment is “look at the picture”, look at Trump and Putin shaking hands.

Look again.

Putin is a trained martial artist. Look at his center of gravity. Look at his left hand. Now look at Trump’s CG and left.

Putin is almost off balance, and his off hand is holding on to the chair, perhaps to recover balance. Trump isn’t. And -his- left hand is right there, ready to defend or strike. If Trump just tugs hard….

Look closely at Putins expression and eyes, versus Trump’s.

I think Mr Trump gave an unexpected impression to Mr Putin. Just a bit, just enough. And Trump did it -deadpan-, and without an over-the-top bobble.

I am sure others may interpret that photo a bit differently. But look at the centers, the feet, the eyes, the hands, the expressions.

Ex-PH2

That’s very interesting, and you’re right: body language says a lot. Trump is solidly planted, Putin is slight off balance.

Thanks for posting that.

Ex-PH2

Here’s something else that is interesting in that article, toward the end of it:
Nikolai Berdyaev, the most famous of Russian philosophers, wrote that the purpose of conservatism is not to impede the movement forward and upward, but to impede the movement back and down to a chaotic, primitive state. Given the world’s political instability, these words acquire new sense.

Read this again: “…NOT to impede the movement forward and upward, but to impede the movement back and down to a chaotic, primitive state.” And where do the lefties and ecohippies and Warmunistas want us to go????? Yeah, you got it!

I’m just glad we have a president who doesn’t bow to foreign leaders (both literally and figuratively).

A Proud Infidel®™️

Hey, where’s Major Bunghole and his Empirical Evidence?

Ex-PH2

Hush! Don’t stir the pot just yet!!!?!?!

I have something that appeared in my local newspaper that will disturb him mightily, maybe even get his undies in a bunch. Have patience!

Ex-PH2

My view should piss him off, too, API, so here it is:
Biden will drop out of the race. Warren and Bernie will compete, and Warren will get the nod so Bernie will throw his hat into the ring as an independent on the ticket. He’s more popular now than he was last time, so he is likely to get enough votes to take electoral votes away from Warren, and she’ll lose to both Bernie AND Trump.

Feel better now?

Thunderstixx

After the latest news, Bernie is going to drop over dead and the libs will turn his service into yet another bash Trump party and they’ll end up with mayor buttplug and nobody will turn out for his dumb ass…

Ex-PH2

Those two stents he had implanted will keep him going for a while. He recovered well from them.

rgr769

His “husband” will turn out, as he loves Buttplug’s ass.

Ex-PH2

No, I think Bernie’s a very tough old bird and he’ll make it to this party, but I think it will be his last hurrah.

AW1Ed

This! If he runs as an independent he’ll (obliviously) split the Lib vote and Trump will be a shoe-in.
I’m sure some Lib strategists are losing sleep over this.

I’m good with that.

Mason

I hope I’ve got Bernie’s energy and verve when I’m in my late 70’s. I suppose being so lazy you get kicked out of a hippy commune gives you some incredible longevity.

I just don’t understand people like Bernie and McCain. Your body is telling you it’s time to cut back. Go be with family during your final years. Why literally work yourself into a grave? Priorities, people.

Ex-PH2

If/when he does go to his grave, it will be because he went to sleep at his desk and didn’t wake up from his nap. Just fade away to nothing.
Then it’s “Bernie? Who?”

OWB

Heard some lefty idiot yesterday (a supposed “economist”) declaring that all these good numbers and what most of us would call prosperity just proves that we are already in a recession. It must be painful to be so filled with hate that it doesn’t matter whether things are good or bad, it’s all bad.

Now, I am as skeptical as the next guy and am not convinced that we are permanently out of economic trouble in this country. Or that the recent progress will continue forever. But, it sure is great to see the numbers improving rather than being told, “America’s best days are behind her.”

Ex-PH2

Well, to support your observations, OWB, this is an excerpt from a recent release from CNBC.

The U.S. economy added 136,000 jobs in September, the Bureau of Labor Statistics said Friday. Economists polled by Dow Jones expected an increase of 145,000 jobs. The unemployment rate fell to 3.5%, a 50-year low, but wages grew at a slower-than-expected pace last month. “This sounds like a Goldilocks number to me,” Steve Grasso, director of institutional sales at Stuart Frankel, told CNBC. “It still gives the Fed some room for cover to cut rates. This is as close to a not-too-hot, not-too-cold greeting for the market.” – Fred Imbert, “Dow Jumps More Than 200 Points After Steady Jobs Report,” October 4, 2019, https://www.cnbc.com.

Now, to me, that means we’re in what could be termed a steady state pattern, no sharp ups or downs so far, holding steady. That isn’t a recession. It’s stability.

On the other hand, what would you expect from a lefty who can’t see past his tablet or phone?

OWB

Slow and steady growth sounds pretty good here. As in healthy for everybody. Those who view growth as bad really should seek medical/psychiatric attention.

Mason

You gotta fill up the balloon before it pops, right?

Prediction a recession is just around the corner is like predicting it’ll be cold in January. You can never be wrong.

Ex-PH2

Other good news is that the COLA for retirees for 2020 will be 2.7%. Not official yet, but it’s on the SSA website now. 🙂 Trade tariffs help a bit, and there is also some civil/public turmoil in Hong Kong going on.

Remember that projected reduction by 2031, at 23% reduction? It was cut down to a 21% reduction. It helps to have more people in the work place, doesn’t it?

rgr769

So, SSA is going to give us a 2.7% raise but in 11 or twelve years we get a one fifth haircut? Great, I guess we’ll be eating dog and cat food by then if AOC and little Greta have their way, though it will be veggie based.

Ex-PH2

It’s entirely possible, since the reduction was dropped once already, that it will be dropped by then, perhaps entirely.

11B-Mailclerk

Note “The Peoples Will” (Narodnaya Volya) was “populist” and opposed Tsarism, demanding reforms for the People. They demonstrated being down with the People by assassinating Tsar Alexander II, the one that ended Serfdom.

Seriously. He was an existential threat to the need for PW. Had to go.

Party uber alles. Looking at you Red Jackasses. And you idiot RINOs too.

Ex-PH2

You know, none of them really value the freedom they have to choose how they vote.

Think maybe that might change if it were taken away…?

A Proud Infidel®™️

Anyone notice that so far absolutely NONE of President Trump’s accusers have committed suicide?

Mason

Nor been the victim of a random robbery turned murder.
