Thirteen Marines Charged with Smuggling Illegals

| September 22, 2019

According to Business & Politics Review, thirteen (13) U.S. Marines from Camp Pendleton, California have been charged with smuggling illegal immigrants.

Thirteen Marines stationed at the U.S. Marine Corps’ West Coast base, Camp Pendleton, have been charged with allegedly smuggling illegal aliens into the United States.

Two months ago, on July 3, U.S. Border Patrol agents spotted three illegal aliens jumping into the car of two defendants — Lance Cpl. Byron D. Law and Lance Cpl. David J. Salazar-Quintero. The two Marines were subsequently arrested and the three illegals interrogated.

Later in the article…

The illegals further admitted that they’d agreed to pay the Marines $8,000 to be smuggled into the U.S. Law has claimed that the smuggling operation was Salazar-Quintero’s idea.

Twenty-two Marines were arrested going back to July 2019 but only these 13 have been charged.

What happened at Camp Pendleton may represent the first case ever of some “rotten apple” Marines selling out their own country by smuggling illegal aliens into the U.S. for profit. It, however, isn’t the first case of some “rotten apple” Marines engaging in the general act of smuggling.

I wouldn’t be surprised if the lucky thirteen are given a Big Chicken Dinner on the way out the door.

They played the stupid game, thus that ought to be one of their stupid prizes!

Smooth moves exlaxes. Just took a great big dump over what ever future you might of had. Lucky for y’all there are a buncha new Flying Js being built, and Brucie is always looking for apprentice towel fluffers at his bath houses. (Entrance in the Rear)

“….Marines engaging in the general act of smuggling.” Think we’ve all seen or at least heard of that type of activity across all of the branches. Sh^tbirds gonna sh^tbird. Anyone else remember the scene in “Boys of Company C” when Marine Washington joined and volunteered for the Viet of the Nam so he could send dope back in the coffins marked “remains non view able.”?

Hmmm, Court Martial or Federal Court? My vote would be the CM.

This shit has been going on for decades. The Camp Pendleton Base newspaper would occasionally run an article about a Marine or two pulling this caper and getting busted. For those unfamiliar with Camp Pendleton, Interstate 5 cuts through a portion of Camp Pendleton, and about halfway between the southern part of Pendleton and the northern part is an Immigration checkpoint on the Interstate. The scheme is coming through the front gate with a vehicle full of dreamers, take one of the many roads leading to the northern gate (bypassing the checkpoint) and dumping them out in San Clemente. A persistent rumor when Hack was with 3rd Amtracks was that one Saturday night, a Marine took a load of illegals down to the vehicle lot, loaded them on AAV-7, and drove them up the beach to the north end. Did it really happen? Probably not, but everyone in the Battalion swore it was true.

We have to end the economic attraction and viability of smuggling illegals.
Start by refusing services and aid.
Make America so hostile to illegals that no one in his right mind would attempt to come here illegally.

We are already taking in 1.3 million legal immigrants per year, which is more than any other country in the world, or any rational country would do.

There is no excuse for illegal immigration.
Finish the wall.

Amen to that, if only they made welfare and other freebie handouts harder to get than VA Benefits…

Indeed remove the profit center and the attraction of breaking the law to get in becomes far less attractive as the consequences outweigh the benefit.

This stunt is going to add another half hour to the weekend safety briefing.

Rumor has it the two young, patriotic lance corporals were blasting Neil Diamond’s 1980 hit song “Coming To America” on the car’s Blaupunkt stereo system. The tune was a planned audio signal to alert their human cargo to enter the vehicle for immediate departure. Several Border Patrol agents also heard the music and “the best laid plans of mice and men often go awry.”

“Far
We’ve been traveling far
Without a home
But not without a star
Free
Only want to be free
We huddle close
Hang on to a dream”

“Got a dream to take them there
They’re coming to America
Got a dream they’ve come to share
They’re coming to America”

Did the CBP officers play:

I fought the Law, and the Law won.

I fought The Corps
And The Corps won

The brig is overflowing with people smarter than The Corps and NCIS.

The US is a great big market for all manner of things from drugs to humans…consequently the pay is not bad for a few hours work.

It’s why young men don’t mind fighting with firearms over drug turf and why some Marines don’t mind risking prison to get some humans across.

Once again though we attack the non-profit centers. When CEOs are imprisoned for a decade and the property that the illegals were hired to work on was sold off after due process convictions the profit motive would be far less risk free for any company looking to keep labor costs low by hiring illegals and scamming the system.

Perp walk the CEO out of his company, and then after he’s convicted publicly auction the building and its contents and other CEOs are gonna start asking if their freedom and business are actually worth the labor saving.
