Store employees charged with assaulting, shooting at customer

Joshua Cole
NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) – Two store employees have been arrested after a shooting at a Jefferson Street market on Thursday morning.

Ayed Khawaf, 28, and Abdulrahman Ammari, 23, were in a fight with a woman they had told to leave Paul’s Market, 1800 Jefferson St.

According to the affidavit, Khawaf told police that he asked the woman to leave the business because she was causing trouble. He told police they were arguing outside the market and she started shooting at him.

Police reviewed a recording of the incident and discovered that Khawaf was inside and arguing with the woman through the window. He then went outside with a golf club in his hand and hit the woman in the face. Police said the female pulled a gun out and started shooting at the ground in the direction of Khawaf.

Police said the victim was acting in self defense.

According to the affidavit, Ammari shot at the victim as she walked away from the market.

Did someone open up a can of stupid, Delta Whiskies and Whiskettes? One mort, two inconvenienced, and one in the wind, mostly due to poor life choices.

No kingdom can be secured otherwise than by arming the people. The possession of arms is the distinction between a freeman and a slave. He, who has nothing, and who himself belongs to another, must be defended by him, whose property he is, and needs no arms. But he, who thinks he is his own master, and has what he can call his own, ought to have arms to defend himself, and what he possesses; else he lives precariously, and at discretion.

Toxic Deplorable B Woodman

Sounds like a TN store is gonna need two new clerks.
And from names and behavior, I’m willing to bet they weren’t born and raised around there, or even in the US.
And it continues to amaze me that people lie, knowing full well that everything they said and did can be checked against a digital recording. Was it Ron White that said, “You can’t fix stoopid”? He was right.

Toxic Deplorable B Woodman

And speaking of “not fixing stoopid”, how long has it been, how many years and decades, that drivers have been told, “don’t leave your car unattended with the keys in the ignition/the engine running”?
(sigh……….)

Ex-PH2

Same number of years that people have been told the following:
1 – Lock your car doors, whether you’re driving the car or not.
2 – Don’t drink and drive.
3 – BE home before the street lights come on and don’t make me come looking for you.
4 – You’re smart enough to solve that math problem yourself.

I’ll shoot this comment out, that shooting at a vehicle going away from a person in Florida is considered a bad shoot. Oh Shoot, did I leave anything out???

Cool Mk IV with the barrel shroud. Never saw one on a handgun. My shooting partner used one of those Ruger .22’s that was a pain in the butt to field strip after he fired during Police EL (bullseye) rimfire matches when we shot on the Brink’s shooting team during the 1970’2. I used the Hi-Standard Victor model.

We gots us an idjit, a dumbass, and TWO (2) teh stoopid mofos…sigh

Idjit leaving his car running in Decuater? Might as well have just tossed the keys in the air and said, “Who wants this?”

Dumbass just wanted to borrow a shirt and some shoes. He was late for choir practice.

Tox are there ANY C Store clerks left that were born and raised from around here? Motel owners? Dairy Queens?

The boys seem to be having a large time with the sock puppet over to the Les Brown Stolen Valor POS Scum Thread. I feelz good for them. Been a while since we’ve had a good chew toy.

Oh my, what a dogpile that was.

The video below the Atlanta Journal-Constitution article is interesting. The suspect in handcuffs throws all kinds of racisss stuff at the cops, including “Chinese food” at the male cop, who is Vietnamese.

Graybeard

I wonder if the idjit who left his car running could be considered an accessory to the attempted car theft?

rgr769

Uh, it wasn’t an attempted car theft. The thief apparently escaped with the vehicle. Plus, the crime was complete when the thief started to drive off with the car. But in many states it is a misdemeanor to leave the keys in your car and/or leave it running and unlocked.
