Working Dogs Attack Colin Kaepernick Stand-In

| August 2, 2020

A video was posted that showed what appeared to be training with dogs and the target of the dog’s attack was wearing a Colin Kaepernick jersey.  Twitter reacted to the event.

The New York Post as well as theGrio carried the story.

The original video was posted by Billy Corben who claimed it happened at the Fort Collins Navy SEAL Museum.

There was a second video posted where the attack target claims he would stand.

Corben’s tweet quickly went viral and the criticism of the training presentation was harsh. Many Twitter users found it particularly disturbing that uniformed American service personnel were visible during the incident.

In a later tweet, it was clarified that the Navy SEAL Museum is not part of the Department of Defense (DOD) or the U.S. Navy.

Also, as a point of clarification on a few things:
* these are not Navy SEAL dogs as claimed in the posts/article.
* most of the handlers are not SEALs and the dogs are glorified, trained pets.

I’ve heard of bomb sniffing dogs, but not shit sniffing dogs.

Wireman611

Well nobody like his jersey anyways. I heard that after he started the kneeling thing they couldn’t even give them away. Also numerous videos and memes were made showing creative uses for his jersey.

Ex-PH2

So those t-shirts are mostly good for use as dust rags? Glad to know that, because my little black cat won’t sit on them, either.

Friend

My son had three and used them wisely..
One to poop on
One to wipe his butt
One to cover it up…

And I’ll be you didnt even get through reading the quick notes down at the bottom of the article. How many times did it take you to to people once the first word of the first sentence?

Let’s see if you can understand how it feels to read your bs. I write in “illiterate” so you would feel at home.

At least one Sports Bar duct taped copies of Kraperdick’s jersey to the ground in front to be used as a door mat!

Well this answers the age old question of why a dog licks his azz after biting Co@ksu@ker Krapadi@k.

To take the nasty taste out of his mouth.

Everybody forgets that his was a mediocre pro ball player and did his attention whore stunt to be…well…an attention whore. Best way to shut that sob up and make him a foot note to nfl history and put his sorry azz on a team and let the world be reminded how sorry he was. By waiting this long, he gets the walk of “well he’s been away from the game so long and missed his prime”. That will force the SJW wokesters to give him a broadcast booth spot for him to spew his hatred of American on National TV.

I’m glad I gave up on the national felon league long time ago before it became the popular thing to do.

Fawk heem!

Just like his real parents, nobody wants him.

That was harsh and I did spit coffee laughing 😂

I do not like Colin Kaepernick or his “stances” (kneeling) based on his self-interest and his recent Nike and NFL funded checks and settlements.

The man is arrogant and lost. By the way, to play in the NFL, you have to make a team. You just do not get picked and “poof” your on the team. He forgot that as well.

But these dudes up top are just tossing fuel on the fire. Its a jersey, I get it and if it is not DoD related, hen they can do as they so choose. But common sense did not prevail in this case.

11B-Mailclerk

How does a player’s actions enhance or damage the team?

Actions to generate wins on the field are helpful.

Actions off the field to enhance fan attendance and spending are helpful.

It is a “pro” sport. It is about playing to win, and about playing to get paid. If one damages either, one isn’t playing for the team.

The team doesn’t have to keep around someone who forgets that bit.

Kaepernik and Vick both forgot about it.

Hey, remember then that football player occasionally took a knee in gratitude and a bunch of folks criticized him for detracting from the game?

Green Thumb

My favorite was when he spent 30 min of his “workout” trashing the NFL and he “deserved” to play.

One generally does not trash a perspective employer and I thought you had to do a workout, then get invited to camp, then make the team, then earn the starting spot or a spot in the rotation to play.

Kap too the money and ran. Now he has second thoughts.

Tebow (better than Colon Krapernick) got run out of the game for being of faith, but Colon here is the “woke” celebrity whom nobody wants because he’s sucky-ass player and Blue Falcon.

Green Thumb

Really good point.

AW1Ed

The Perpetually Outraged Class is indeed perpetually outraged, and “racism!” is their go-to mantra. It’s wearing very thin.

Commissar

Really?

It is not the people outraged about the kneeling that is the perpetually outraged class?

Serving outrage porn for the right is not an insignificant part of this blogs activities.

A man exercises his first amendment rights to silently kneel during the national anthem…and years later the right is still outraged enough to turn him into a prop for military dog attacks as crowd pleasing “punishment”.

And it is the left that is being a perpetually outraged class?

Considering the lyrics of national anthem explicitly celebrate the death of slaves who genuinely were fighting for their freedom – I think he has fair justification to kneel.

And since it is protected by the first amendment he doesn’t need justification.

AW1Ed

“Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.”

Can you show us on the doll where Government is abridging the first amendment rights of anyone you mentioned?

Kap and crew choose to take a knee during the playing of the National Anthem, and I choose not to watch the ensuing football game. The First Amendment is not an issue.

Kap is a public figure, these were not military working dogs, and the arcane verse containing the phrase:

“No refuge could save the hireling and slave,
From the terror of flight or the gloom of the grave”

…can be interpreted in any of several ways (mercenaries and those impressed into English service, for example), and isn’t the sole province of slaves anyway.

Kap and crew are free to peaceably assemble and protest whatever slight they feel should be addressed, as I am free to point out how ludicrous these spoiled millionaires look, or just ignore them all together.

Edited to add,
On a historical note, Key originally penned “The Star-Spangled Banner” as an inspirational poem, and published it in a Baltimore newspaper shortly after the event. It was set to the tune of a popular English song, “To Anacreon in Heaven” and it became an unofficial national anthem during the 19th century.
“The Star Spangled Banner” was officially adopted as the National Anthem by an executive order of President Woodrow Wilson in 1916, and was confirmed by Congress as the National Anthem of the United States in 1931. Wilson was a Democrat, of course, and while the 72nd Congress started with a slim Republican majority, by the time it first met the Democrats, through a series of special elections, held the majority.

11B-Mailclerk

By your rules then, you are wrong to criticize here. Respect their free speech.

No? Why?

Or are only some folks free to speak, and only some speech ok to be spoken?

First Amendment, or not?

Criticism is free speech, or not?

Why is one “I don’t like the message” ok, and the other not?

HMCS(FMF) ret

Lars must be looking at the Constitution through his “red colored” glasses…

Skyjumper

“Considering the lyrics of national anthem explicitly celebrate the death of slaves who genuinely were fighting for their freedom…”

You talking about these lyrics, Lars?
“No refuge could save the hireling and slave
From the terror of flight or the gloom of the grave……”

Right away you & others jump to the conclusion that that the National Anthem is racist because the word “slave” was used when in actuality Key may have intended the phrase as a reference to the British Navy’s practice of impressment (kidnapping sailors and forcing them to fight in defense of the crown), or as a semi-metaphorical slap at the British invading force as a whole (which included a large number of mercenaries), though the latter line of thinking suggests an even stronger alternative theory — namely, that the word “hirelings” refers literally to mercenaries, and “slaves” refers literally to slaves. It doesn’t appear that Francis Scott Key ever specified what he did mean by the phrase, nor does its context point to a single, definitive interpretation.

Just because Kapernick exercises his first amendment rights to silently kneel during the national anthem, doesn’t mean that I have to give up my 1st Amendment rights to disagree.

As for you Lars Taylor, if you don’t care about the American flag, then you are just a body……….not a veteran.

For ironic humor value, should have used a Michael Vick Ravens jersey.

Commissar

See, that would have been excellent non partisan humor.

Left and right don’t agree on much, but we can agree people that participating in dogfighting are scumbags.

OldManchu

Then why didn’t you think of it yourself?

Because Squidward is incapable of a non-partisan idea, and he has no sense of humor. The brain of the commie cuttlefish doesn’t operate that way.

For once, you have a good point.

Big difference between Kaepernick and Vick. One is a convicted felon, who served his time and changed his ways (although I’m still not a fan). The other is an ignorant, unapologetic, race-baiting, washed up quarterback that’s throwing a perpetual tantrum in a misguided attempt to remain relevant.

A Proud Infidel®™

I’m still no fan of Vick but Krapernick didn’t start his attention-whoring act until he got benched!

David

Ferchrissakes, the guy looks nothing like Kapaernik! If he was wearing my Albert Pujols Cards shirt would it be an insult to the DR? Peole indeed are trying to be outraged over nothing, and “straining at gnats” to do so.
