In Jacksonville, Florida<\/a>;<\/p>\n

Officers responding to a report of someone shot went to the home about 11:30 p.m. The owner reported shooting at a person found inside the home, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n

Police found a man with a gunshot wound to the stomach several blocks from the home. He was taken to the hospital in stable condition, the Sheriff\u2019s Office said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Alwyn Noronha, a store clerk in DeKalb County, Georgia<\/a> makes Emmanuel Henry DOT;<\/p>\n

According to the incident report, the store clerk identified as Alwyn Noronha was behind the counter at Happy’s Package Store on Rockbridge Road when a masked gunman later identified as 22-year-old Emmanuel Henry jumped over the counter and shot at Noronha at least 5 times. The report says Noronha returned fire hitting Henry three times.<\/p>\n

Surveillance video shows the gunman running out of the store before collapsing. He was transported to a local hospital where he later died from his injuries.\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

In Yakima, Washington<\/a>;<\/p>\n

\nPolice arrived at the home in the 800-block of South 46th Avenue at about 4:40 a.m. to find an armed homeowner who had detained one of several armed, masked intruders.<\/p>\n

That suspect was arrested and his firearm was located, according to a press release.<\/p>\n

Police say another suspect, who was shot at by one of the home’s residents, and an accomplice fled. Police later located the pair in the neighborhood and detained them. The suspect with the gunshot wound was taken to a local hospital in critical condition.<\/p>\n
