The folks at Military Phonies<\/a> has a full-time Beirut historian on the payroll now, so all those phony Beirut Marines had better tuck tail. Their latest bust is this Kevin Paul Kowalkowski fellow who did indeed serve honorably in the Marine Corps for eight years (four active, four in the Reserves), but he joined in July 1983, just three months before the Beirut bombing, that’s not enough time to go through initial training and deploy.<\/p>\n
