The owner told arriving officers that he had been awakened, found the two suspects harvesting his pot plants and then chased them out of his home.<\/p>\n
A confrontation ensued in the street and one of the suspect opened fire on the homeowner, wounding him in the leg.<\/p>\n
Undaunted the owner continued his pursuit until the suspect fired a second salvo. At that point, the homeowner raced back to the house and called 911 as did many of his neighbors.<\/p>\n
