Chief Tango sends us links this morning to perk up your cold Saturday morning. the first is from California, where John Jasmer, let into his house Melanie Piette who claimed she needed to inspect his gas lines;<\/p>\n
Piette allowed another man inside, identified as Michael Felsch, 38, deputies said.<\/p>\n
The two attempted to rob Jasmer, deputies said, Felsch threatening Jasmer with an unidentified weapon and threatening to harm him if he didn\u2019t hand over money.<\/p>\n
Jasmer had a gun close to where he was sitting, and he fired at Felsch, striking him in the torso several times, deputies said. Felsch and Piette ran away, deputies said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
The police arrived at the wrong address at first, and had to jerk around and decypher the cryptic directions they had to the house from the dispatcher. Luckily, the homeowner was able to take matters into his own hands.<\/p>\n
Felsch is in custody at the local hospital, but Piette is still on the loose. Mr. Jasmer has sufficient range time, but he needs a larger caliber hand gun. It’s harder to run with a couple of 230 grain bullets in your torso.<\/p>\n

A female resident called 911 at 2:30 a.m. Friday, reporting an intruder inside her home at 8011 Savary Drive, Pasco police said.<\/p>\n
The male homeowner fired multiple rounds at the alleged intruder inside the home, police said. When police arrived, they learned that the alleged intruder was dead.<\/p>\n
Pasco police are investigating. No arrests have occurred in this death investigation, police said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
