I’m still unpacking after the Milblog Conference. I stopped off and visited my kids who are still trapped in the Beltway and let the grand kids beat on me for awhile.<\/p>\n

The Milblog Conference was great. it was the first time it ever sold out and despite a night of trying to drain Northern Virginia of adult beverages on Friday, everyone stuck it out until the end on Saturday. There was a lot of good participation from the military services and they answered all of our questions (they even answered all of Army Sergeant’s questions). The highlight of my weekend was getting multiple hugs from my favorite blogger, Baldilocks<\/a>. And hugs from all of the lovely ladies who make up our community. And I got hugs hugs from Concretebob more times than I want to count.<\/p>\n

I’m waiting for the awards ceremony video to appear – it was hilarious. i won’t spoil the presentation of the “Veterans” category for you – you have to see the video. As soon as I find it, I’ll get it up.<\/p>\n
