Woman shot man who assaulted her in Kensington, police say<\/strong>
\nA woman pulled her licensed firearm and shot a man who assaulted her and smashed the windshield of her car in an incident that happened on North Lee Street in Kensington on Sunday, officials said.<\/em><\/p>\n

\nAn investigation is underway, officials said, after a woman shot a man in Philadelphia’s Kensington neighborhood on Sunday after, investigators believe, the man assaulted her.<\/p>\n

According to police, the incident happened at about 10:45 p.m. on Sunday, when a 27-year-old woman shot a 21-year-old man after he physically assaulted her along the 3400 block of North Lee Street in Philadelphia’s Kensington neighborhood.<\/p>\n

The man, officials said, smashed the windshield of the victim’s vehicle and charged at her when she produced her legally registered handgun and fired at the suspected attacker.<\/p>\n

Responding officers took the man to a nearby hospital where he was placed in stable condition after the shooting, police said.<\/p>\n

An arrest was made and the firearm was seized, police said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Police say “ongoing neighbor dispute” led shooting of suspect in Forney Texas<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nA suspect was shot after a neighbor dispute turned violent in Forney, officials said.<\/p>\n

According to the Forney Police Department, the incident happened at about 3 p.m. Sunday, July 27, at a home in the 900 block of Concord Street. When officers arrived, they learned that a shooting had occurred as a result of an ongoing neighbor dispute.<\/p>\n

Witnesses told police that the suspect was intoxicated and approached his neighbor’s home “in an agitated state,” Forney PD said in a news release. Family members and bystanders tried to stop the suspect, whose name has not been released, from entering his neighbor’s home, but the suspect forced himself inside through a glass door.<\/p>\n

Once inside, police said the suspect physically assaulted the homeowner.<\/p>\n

Investigators said the homeowner was armed with a handgun and shot the suspect twice during the assault, striking him in the stomach and chest.<\/p>\n

The suspect was airlifted to a hospital and will be transported to jail once he’s released, Forney PD said. He faces a charge of burglary of habitation, a first-degree felony.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

\nTwo suspects were injured after trying to steal scrap metal from a business owner in north Houston.<\/p>\n

Police say the owner confronted the suspects with a shotgun and shot one of them in the head.<\/p>\n

The other suspect appeared to have fallen on a piece of metal and was injured with a puncture wound.<\/p>\n

HOUSTON – Two men were placed in police custody and hospitalized after they were shot at by a business owner while attempting to steal scrap metal off of his property in north Houston.<\/p>\n

Houston Police Department North Division Captain Ryan Watson reports the property owner owns the scrap metal business Demolition Experts in the 200 block of East Burress Street.<\/p>\n

What we know:
\nAround 4:20 a.m. officers were called to the 215 block of East Burress Street for a robbery in progress. When they arrived, they found two suspects were being held at gunpoint by the business owner, Captain Watson said.<\/p>\n

According to officials, the owner got an alert about people in his scrapyard, so he got his shotgun and went to see what was going on.<\/p>\n

He confronted two men he saw on his property carrying scrap metal. One suspect allegedly told the owner, “I’m going to kill you.”<\/p>\n

Police report the owner shot his weapon at the suspects. One suspect had a gunshot wound to the head and the second had a puncture wound which investigators believe he got by possibly falling on a piece of metal.<\/p>\n

Both suspects were taken to nearby hospitals for treatment. Captain Watson stated the suspect with the gunshot wound was last reported to be in serious condition.<\/p>\n

The owner will be questioned by detectives.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
