Abdullah al-Jama, a journalist who worked for the Palestine Chronicle, was among the hostage-holders killed by the IDF in Saturday’s raid.<\/p>\n

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said that Abdullah al-Jamal, who wrote for the Palestine Chronicle, a US-based non profit news website, was keeping Almog Meir Jan, Andrey Kozlov, and Shlomiz Siv captive in his family home.<\/p>\n

The IDF stormed the home by ladder and killed Jamal, his father Dr Ahmed, and his wife, Fatima in the raid that freed the trio on Saturday.<\/p>\n

The Al Jazeera biography for the journalist calls him \u201ca Gaza based reporter and photojournalist. He often reports from the ongoing \u2018March of Return\u2019 protests at the fence separating besieged Gaza from Israel.”<\/p>\n

The Hamas journalist was filing stories about Israel\u2019s war in Gaza while the hostages were held in his home.<\/p>\n

On Sunday, a ban on Al Jazeera\u2019s operations in Israel was extended for another 45 days by the country\u2019s telecoms regulator after the cabinet agreed its broadcasts pose a threat to security.\u00a0 Telegraph<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Meanwhile, Israel would like some answers as to why Al-Jazeera is listing a hostage-holder as on of their own. The head of the Jerusalem office of Al-Jazeera says:<\/p>\n

This man is not from Al Jazeera, and he did not work for Al Jazeera at all, and he is not listed as working for Al Jazeera neither now nor in the past,” al-Walid said, adding, “We do not know him, and all the rumors that have been spread are empty of content and not true at all.”<\/p>\n

Al Jazeera listed Aljamal as an author on its website, and he reportedly wrote at least one article for the Doha-based network.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Sounds like Walid should read his own web site.<\/p>\n

Sadly, the father of one of the hostages died shortly before his son was released Saturday and news was unable to reach him of his son’s rescue.<\/p>\n

Believe that those who feel the ordinary street Palestinians are innocent victims should look at this.<\/p>\n

Monday. we said Hamas claimed 236 killed? Well, releasing three of them killed the three named above. Must have been one hell of a battle for that one other hostage, to have killed over 230 others. After all, we KNOW Hamas would never lie.<\/p>\n
