In <a href=\"http:\/\/valorguardians.com\/blog\/?p=9619\">his post, TSO wrote<\/a>;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>But Part Two of what pisses me off is the second bullet up there, to wit:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>A prominent civil rights organization reported in 2006 that \u201clarge numbers of potentially violent neo-Nazis, skinheads, and other white supremacists are now learning the art of warfare in the [U.S.] armed forces.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>And what \u201cprominent civil rights organization\u201d are they citing to?  The Southern Poverty Legal Center, SPLC.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Well, our friends at <a href=\"http:\/\/getliberty.org\/\">Americans For Limited Government<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/netrightnation.com\/index.php?option=com_content&amp;view=article&amp;id=1251795:alg-finds-details-on-qright-wingq-threat-assessment&amp;catid=1:nrn-blog&amp;Itemid=7\">NetRight Nation<\/a> filed a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.getliberty.org\/files\/DHS-FOIARequest.pdf\">Freedom of Information Act request<\/a> for the sources of that DHS report and guess what they found in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.getliberty.org\/files\/09-502%20Interim%20Response%201.pdf\">the initial response<\/a>. It was rife with Southern Poverty Law Center links;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/valorguardians.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/08\/splc-links.jpg\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-13520\" title=\"splc-links\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/valorguardians.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/08\/splc-links.jpg?resize=495%2C474\" alt=\"splc-links\" width=\"495\" height=\"474\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/valorguardians.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/08\/splc-links.jpg?w=545&amp;ssl=1 545w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/valorguardians.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/08\/splc-links.jpg?resize=300%2C286&amp;ssl=1 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 495px) 100vw, 495px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>So I&#8217;m tooting TSO&#8217;s horn for him&#8230;well, maybe not &#8211; it depends on how you interpret that line. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;m sure you all remember TSO&#8217;s work on the Department of Homeland Security report in which DHS warned that veterans returning from the wars should be deemed possible terrorists.
