Officers shoot, kill armed man in Mounds View liquor store<\/strong><\/p>\n

Mounds View police say an armed suspect was fatally shot by officers who encountered him in a liquor store.<\/p>\n

Authorities say police responded to a call of shots fired in Mounds View Sunday at about 7 p.m.<\/p>\n

While responding to that call, officers got another call about an armed robbery at a nearby Aldi store.<\/p>\n

Police found a person who said a man pointed a gun at him and forced him to drive to a liquor store.<\/p>\n

The armed man ran inside the store.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Officers fatally shoot suspect believed to be connected to deadly shooting in Henry County<\/strong>
\nIndiana State Police said the suspect reached for a holster, drew a handgun and pointed it at two officers. The officers then shot the man.<\/em><\/p>\n

RUSHVILLE, Ind. \u2014 Indiana State Police is investigating an officer-involved shooting early Tuesday morning that is believed to be connected to a shooting that happened earlier in rural Henry County.<\/p>\n

Henry County deputies were called to the 2400 block of South Kennard Road in Kennard, Indiana, Monday around 11:30 p.m. on multiple reports of a shooting.<\/p>\n

According to investigators, Ivan Wade Flowers, 65, was woken up by a knock at his door. When he opened the door, a man shot and killed him, and left the scene. A sister of Flowers told 13News, his family was also home at the time of the shooting.<\/p>\n

Deputies shared suspect information with surrounding police agencies in hopes the suspect would be found.<\/p>\n

Shortly after midnight, Rushville officers found a vehicle matching that of the suspect driving south on State Road 3 in northern Rush County.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
