Teen stabbed in eye with own knife during attempted robbery in Brooklyn: NYPD<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nA teen attempting to rob someone at knifepoint Thursday night in Brooklyn was stabbed in the eye with his own weapon, police said.<\/p>\n

According to officials, the incident occurred at around 9:15 p.m. on East 57th Street, between Avenue K and Avenue L, in the Flatlands neighborhood.<\/p>\n

The 18-year-old tried to rob another man with a knife when the would-be victim was able to snatch the knife and used it stab the teen in the eye, the NYPD said.<\/p>\n

EMS transported the would-be thief to a nearby hospital where he was listed in critical condition, police said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

\nSouth Central Nebraska gunman kills two, injures one before shot by former colleague<\/em><\/p>\n

A man fired from a south central Nebraska grain complex Thursday returned to the facility and started shooting at his former colleagues killing two, and injuring another according to the Nebraska State Patrol.<\/p>\n

The gunman, identified as Max Hoskinson, 61, was shot and killed by another employee of the Agrex facility in Superior, Nebraska.<\/p>\n

The Nebraska State Patrol was called to assist the Nuckolls County Sheriff\u2019s Office and Superior Police Department with a response to an active shooter incident at the Agrex Elevator in Superior at 2:00 p.m. Thursday.<\/p>\n

They found one person dead, Hoskinson and another person gravely wounded and a third person with a minor injury. Hoskinson later died at the hospital in Superior.<\/p>\n

According to investigators, Hoskinson returned to Agrex shortly before 2:00 p.m. and opened fire with a handgun. He was stopped by someone who used a shotgun stored in the Agrex office to shoot the gunman.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
