BY MICHELLE HUNTER
A woman who told authorities she’d been shot twice during an armed robbery in New Orleans East on Thursday morning actually suffered those wounds as she tried to force her way into the Marrero home of a former lover, according to the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office.

Robin Ventris, 34, was shot by the wife of her ex-boyfriend as Ventris tried to kick in the couple’s front door, said Capt. Jason Rivarde, spokesman for the department.

“(The wife) acted in self-defense,” Rivarde said.

One DRT and two inconvenienced, Delta Whiskies and Whiskettes. A lowly pair, but play the hand you’re dealt. At least you are likely having a better day than Ms. “Bullet Magnet” Ventris.

It may be just a lowly pair but you do have the Ace high DRT so there is that. And a new low in dumbassery, taking a set of teeth to a gunfight. That in itself could be a FIRST.

Homeboy in Tx wasn’t planning a break in. He was going out to have a few Coronas and had a mask on to protect against a virus.

Ms V Thang had a bad day? She looks like a bad day…and an even worse night. Coyote fugly…ya know you gonna gnaw your arm off to keep from waking her up when you slip out of bed. Damn man, if you gonna be a dumbass and cheat on your wife, at least pick a pretty one. He may be looking for a new home soon for his own self.

Huuummmmm. Nice semi old school gun pr0n you gots there Mister. Gotta love the scariness of the fold over stock, fold down bipod, seems to have room for a bayonet attachment too. What I really like about it is, FTA, it comes with a bottle opener. Article also points out that big money screams. Though the Galil was determined to be a better weapon than the M16 of the period, in the desert, the Galil was not issued because of all the “free” surplus M16s that became available in ’72/73.

And Ms Thang in the camo? Her suit didn’t do a very good job of concealing her flanks, and absolutely no concealment of those breastworks. I volunteer to lead the assault on either…or both.

Our main man! Welcome Home Andy. Thought we may have been remiss this morning, so I went back to check the linky that ‘Ed provided. Wasn’t your byline so I felt I was OK. Clicked on the linky that you provided and couldn’t find your name for awhile cause of all the pop ups, and the “do this survey if you want to read this” part. That may have been why ‘Ed used the other linky, don’t know. Maybe the 25 was the FIRST one that popped up.

Am glad you stopped by, got anything new and good for us? Your loyal readers await. Keep in mind the hassle of trying to read an article with the above roadblocks will keep some of us less patient and less computer savvy D Weeds off of the link. May want to mention that to management. On my system, sometimes, the firewall will keep me off of a link that has surveys and an excess of pop ups.

To all, the man involved is a pretty good dude. He’s a PD for the county and I have known him for a long time. He was on his property, heard noises, a man allegedly was threatening him and well, that’s when things went south.

The whole thing is a shame as well, I don’t know who the victim was but I’m betting there was some mental health issues involved. And if that’s the case, then it’s a shame there was no treatment involved or at least, it appears none was involved.

Prosecutors are gathering their stuff and will likely issue a full report in a few weeks after the state police and others go over it. (to avoid a conflict of interest).
