Try to overthrow the King,

…don’t be surprised to meet the axe man.

President Donald Trump fired two key impeachment witnesses Friday, dismissing Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman, the top Ukraine expert at the National Security Council, and US Ambassador to the European Union Gordon Sondland.

An adviser to Trump said the firings of the major impeachment witnesses was meant to send a message that siding against the President will not be tolerated.

The dismissals appear to be retribution for Vindman and Sondland’s explosive testimonies to the House impeachment probe late last year, both of which were done under subpoena. The duo gave some of the most damning testimony to House impeachment investigators during last fall’s public hearings and quickly became targets for Trump’s supporters, both inside and outside of government. The firings come two days after the Senate voted to acquit Trump on two articles of impeachment in votes that were largely along party lines.

One of our ninjas sends us this:

Lt. Colonel Alexander Vindman

Impeachment witness Alexander Vindman booted from White House job

Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman —who testified against President Trump  during the House impeachment proceedings — was booted from the White House Friday along with his brother, who is also an Army officer.

Vindman — one of the top Ukraine experts at the National Security Council — was not expected to leave until July but left the building Friday accompanied by his twin brother, Lt. Col. Yevgeny S. Vindman, a lawyer and fellow Army officer assigned to the NSC, who was also let go.

President Trump earlier Friday, asked about a report that Vindman was on his way out, didn’t confirm it but didn’t defend Vindman either.

“I’m not happy with him. You think I’m supposed to be happy with him? I’m not,” Trump said before traveling to an event in North Carolina. “They’ll make a decision.”

“LTC Vindman was asked to leave for telling the truth,” Alexander Vindman’s lawyer, David Pressman, said in a statement.

“The truth has cost LTC Alexander Vindman his job, his career and his privacy.”

Pressman asserted that “the most powerful man in the world — buoyed by the silent, the pliable, and the complicit” had “decided to exact revenge” on Vindman.

A White House spokesman said they do not comment on personnel matters.

This surprise anyone? Yeah, me neither. Read the entire article here: NY Post

This guy is a pile of shit
Feel bad for his brother

Toxic Deplorable Racist SAH B Woodman

Why? Civilian Vindman is just as steaming a heap of crap as military Vindman.

Skippy

The brother I’ve been told
Was a good officer
The other is a pile of shit

rgr769

They are both active duty Army LTC’s; the brother is a JAG officer.

rgr769

His brother is an exact copy. His brother very likely participated in leaking their version of the contents of the phone call to Zelensky to Eric the Rat at CIA. They are both part of the conspiracy for the fraudulent House impeachment. Also, his lawer brother may be the source of the leak about Bolton’s book contents to the NY Slimes.

Skippy

Thank you for that update
They were talking about both of them in my CAV group
I guess the Rat got his purple hart
Because he was near the Mosul
Chow Hall when it was bombed in 2005-2006 he was with 25 ID
Then 2scr when they reflagged
To the later Vindman I guess was a Iraqi expert I’m thinking that’s total
Bullshit now I think he needs to take
His ass back to Russia or the Russian part of the Ukraine
I’m so tired of both of them
Wreaking my country

Skippy

I mean no one liked him and the stories were off the wall he wasn’t
Hiding what he was back then
And everyone says he hasn’t
Changed…

Mustang Major

He should leave the service.

If you can’t trust him in the office, how could you ever trust him on the battlefield?

Isn’t firing people an impeachable offense? /s/ Think I better take that lower 40 acres of good bottom land and put in some more corn. What we can’t pop, we’ll distill. Like I said the other day, they ain’t going to let it be (over).

I will need to borry a plow mule tho. They made my horse surrender. I suspect he’s pulling a wagon up Kansas way by now.

The Stranger

Endeavor to persevere, KOB.
Endeavor to persevere. 😂
Also, try to also grow some rye and/or barely in them 40 acres and make something a little better than white lightning ⚡️!

Suuuuure. Retract an “edited” video? Suuuuuure.
First, show us the original UNedited video.
Then compare that to the Zimmerman/Trayvon story and edits (among others).

Man, those libs are some messed up little shits!

Interesting.

Vindman will either be going to the National War College located at Fort Lesley J. McNair or the US Army War College located in Carlisle, Pennsylvania around the July 2020 timeframe.

The Colleges are precursors for an Army Officer being selected for O6.

Will be interesting to see if he comes out on the next O6 Promotion List.

Fyrfighter

POS should have been cashiered, not transferred.. as Mustang Major said, if you can’t trust him in the Whitehouse, how can you trust him in the service at all?

USAF E-5

I’m shocked. Isn’t it a art 134 Offense to discredit the military by stating an officer has a duty to disobey the orders of the President? It’s also an Article 92 Offense, Failure to obey the Constitution of the United States, to wit; the lawful orders of the President of the United States. Yeah, it’s also…well, you get the “General” Idea. nyuk nyuk. Missed typing charges up. Lot of fun, that.

Stacy0311

I see a couple of “below center mass” OERs. And orders can always be rescinded.
Don’t see either one making O6 despite Esper’s claim of no retaliation.

Huey Jock

Esper’s statement about “we take care of our own” in reference of Vindman’ dismissal kinda bothered me. Looked too much like a rebuttal of the President’s orders to oust a traitor to the staff.

Hack Stone

General MacChrystal got fired by President Obama for telling the truth that Joe Biden is a fucking idiot, but you won’t hear the left condemning Obama about that.

The Stranger

Well, truth be told, Our Man Stan wasn’t too bright either. Seriously, who goes out drinking with a reporter from Rolling Stone and proceeds to talk shit about the VP? Granted, Biden is a moron, but telling that shit to a reporter is imbecilic, especially if you are a currently serving General.

The Other Whitey

A lot of things are coming out that indicate that suggest Vindman’s supposed expertise was highly overrated. Like the writers of “Friends” who spent weeks insisting that Minsk is in Russia.

OWB

Uh, fired? Not really. Transferred, maybe. Not fired. It’s not being fired when you continue to draw a paycheck from the same employer from whom you drew your last paycheck.

Yeah, some of us still remember what it is like to actually be fired from a job.

A Proud Infidel®™

Oh well, toughski shitski for Vindman, fuck him.

Hondo

In all fairness, Vindman was not “dismissed” (in the UCMJ sense) by the POTUS. Rather, he was relieved of his duties with the NSC and is now pending reassignment.

It’s my understanding that the courts have ruled that “time of war” does not necessariy refer to a declared war, but to times when active hostilities are ongoing. If so, Vindman should consult 10 USC 1061(a)(3) – and consider himself lucky.

FWIW: I have heard rumors to the effect that Nixon indeed used the authority contained in 10 USC 1061(a)(3) on one occasion. I do not know whether or not this is accurate, but if so it would explain much regarding a certain past election controversy.

Jim

Major General John K. Singlaub also comes to mind.

BruteLarson407

And the one that called Clinton a dope smoking draft dodger, or something like that. True? Yeah, probably. A good thing to say when your an O-anything and he’s your CinC? Not so much it turns out. Not when you have an audience or reporter listening. I understood I kept my politics regarding the CinC to myself in uniform. One of the places I was billeted was in The Peoples’ Republic of Massachusetts, and I never heard one of the natives I was serving with say a thing about President Reagan. You just don’t do it. I’m not sure what Vindman was thinking. It doesn’t matter who the CinC is; or what political party, that’s self-excommunication in uniform. I think he’s damned lucky to still be in the Army. I don’t think he would be with any other CinC since ’88.’

11B-Mailclerk

Article 88 seems abundantly clear.

Don’t like it? Resign that burdensome commission and go back to being just plain “citizen”, and then say whatever you want. Want the prestige and respect that goes with being “an Officer and a Gentleman”?

Then fucking well act like one.

Honor and Courage

I have seen folks handed their security clearance and a General Officer Reprimand for a lot less. Any officer without a clearance is discharged at the end of his contract!!!!!!
You don’t MESS with the CIC when you are a LTC. He can’t be very smart, in fact he was brainwashed by Shifty and his crew!!!
