Boomer’s Sunday

| January 26, 2020

It’s time once again, Delta Whiskies and Whiskettes, for Boomer’s Sunday, where I cull through his weekly offering of ‘toons, and pick the best. Honorable Mention goes to my pals Woke Infidel, AW1 Scott, our own Poetrooper, Mason, Jeff LPH 3 63-66, thebesig, and Ex, who also provided some entertainment. These are mostly from the right, with humor scattered around. I am more than willing to post up differing points of view if they don’t annoy me. Now what could be fairer than that? So here we are, with the ‘toons that may amuse, make you think, or just piss you off.

Thanks for all the laughs!
About the whole windmill thing… did you know those blades are pretty much hand made from layered materials like; epoxy, fiberglass, carbon fiber?
Did you also know that they aren’t recyclable and are usually buried in a long trench to decay for the next 10,000 years?
Lefties gonna left-ie!
(Do you sleep?!? )

Not to mention just how damned inefficient they are as well as the mess when they break down and catch fire!

Toxic Deplorable Racist SAH B Woodman

As well as the documented environmental damage they cause:
-killing birds in flight
-vibrations and warming of the ground around the base of the windmill

And loud! The wind going thru those bastards keep me up a few nights at Kahuku training area, Northshore Oahu, especially during the late part of the year when the winds came from Alaska.
On the upside, playing OPFOR they made it easy to navigate and sneak up on the dirty American swine!

Not to mention that all of these “green” technologies are reliant on rare-earth elements, which are mined in China. Of course China is known for its strict adherence to fair, safe labor conditions and environmentally conscious mining practices, right?

Instead of your iron or aluminum engine block that’s 100% recyclable (and easily so) you’ve got your “green” battery pack filled with difficult to recycle materials.

If an internal-combustion vehicle catches fire, it is an environmental mess

If one of those electric vehicles burns? Think “superfund” site. Anyone downwind is is serious jeopardy of poisoning. The residue is persistent, and horrific. And you cannot easily extinguish them.

Make sure you’re getting at least 6 hours. The accident rates and negative health effects go up stupidly with less.
