Re: today’s gun rights rally in Richmond, VA: there are many conflicting reports coming out of this, e.g., KKK-wearer Northam has fled the coop at Richmond and leaves others to do his dirty work for him, anyone with a gun inside a marked off space will be busted, radicals and extremists will show up driving armored equipment, etc.

Even Trump has posted a tweet on this subject, appearing to endorse that view that gun owners are under assault. In a tweet yesterday, he wrote, “Your 2nd Amendment is under very serious attack in the Great Commonwealth of Virginia. That’s what happens when you vote for Democrats, they will take your guns away. Republicans will win Virginia in 2020. Thank you Dems!”

On a side note, there is more violence going on on Chicago’s South Side from the use of illegally obtained guns than anything KKK Northam could dream of, and it is slowly creeping out of the ‘hood to the rest of the city.  Saturday night, a man walking his dog around 11:30PM on the far north side was shot in the hip. He said he heard four shots and then felt a pain in his hip. He is recovering in a hospital.

Making guns illegal to own and/or restricting them is not going to stop violence of any kind. That is not being addressed at all, nor will it ever be, simply because violence can be committed with any object, and the fools who want to restrict your constitutional rights know it. Their goal is to destroy your rights, not to keep you safe from anything.

When you start nattering on about your personally-owned weaponry and how much ammo you have tucked away, that is not the point of this article.  The aim of the Democrats is to discard the US Constitution because it is “outdated”, and then have everything their way.  If you don’t get that from the media’s hysterics and idiotic reports about guns and gun violence, you aren’t paying attention.

It does not have to be a gun that is the instrument of violence.

On a side note, Bloomberg has spent hundreds of millions of his own cash hoard to influence elections and get people he approves of elected to office in various states. This gun rights issue is one result. He got a fool elected to the Virginia governor’s office and now he’s rubbing his pansy hands together in glee. If he can do anything to buy the presidential election and run things his way behind the scenes, he will cough up the cash to do it. I suggest we all help him go broke.

Creating chaos, diverting attention away from real issues, slight of hand, lying, and hiding agendas is a well practiced tactic among them. It’s what makes useful idiots so useful. It’s been said that the opposition has already started busing their own “Astroturf Mobs” to confront the Pro-2A Demonstrators. I have no doubt that Soros and Bloomers have spent cash to bus in antagonists because they know that the media mob is going to blame anything and everything that goes wrong squarely on the NRA and the right. Come to think of it, does anyone else remember any instances of Conservatives looting, pillaging or rioting when B. Hussein 0bama got elected and reelected? How about any violence, drugs, littering or vandalism at Tea Party Rallies? But yes, that was seen at nearly any liberal mob gathering, remember the after photos of treehugger rallies and parades?

Spot on and correct with all points made. It has never been about gun control as much as people control and the ability to re-write the Constitution. “You can only have the rights that we think you need.” “Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain.” “Your true enemy is the one driving that late model vehicle, from his/her well kept home on their way to their exploitive capitalistic climate changing people suppressing position.” “I am your true friend, I provide you with so much free sh^t, keeping you available to help me out during riots…err err, peaceful assemblies.”

Divide and conquer. The oldest, best military strategy ever devised. It works. Be Aware…Be Very Aware. Those statues down Monument Avenue have not oppressed, intimidated, or murdered a single person in over 100 years, but Northam has done all of this. Looking around from my spot on the couch I can see at least 15 items at hand that I can wreak havoc or spread terror and discontent with. And 14 of those items have neither a firing pin or a bullet. And don’t even think about letting me get to the kitchen…or the tool shed…or anyone of the 3 vehicles parked out there.

Interesting exercise:

Walk through various stores like hardware, sports, grocery, etc. Assume the gun/hunting/obvious-weapon stuff is gone. How well can you arm yourself in a 30 minute shop?

Now assume the shopper is an all-time ex-con, or someone with some “interesting” education or employment.

I once had this discussion with a person with advanced degrees in chem and bio. Nightmares lurk in household drains and dumpsters and over the counter items.

Or, perhaps some of the Pro-2A folks are smart enough to have some of their number guarding the arms and vehicles left behind. It would not take much to do this.

Also, one might expect that perhaps the LEOs have some sort of professional interest in stopping such crowd-opportunistic predation, and probably lots of practice at such suppression.

That stay-back “watch the cars” Pro-2A group, would also be a nice little quick reaction force. Any violent miscreants would have to consider such teams, very carefully, in their plans.

And if folks are very smart, they will make their points and skedaddle before sunset. The real hardcore dickheads like to operate their conquest-by-mayhem plans at night.

In looking at various video feeds and pics, it seems something was missing from this “white nationalist” rally. Where were all the Rebel Battle Flags? And watching Brietbart(sp?) live feed, even with the revolutionary socialists there was no violence and only chants of “USA” and “4 more years”. They even had folks picking up what little trash was to be found.

One of the greatest differences between the left and the right is what the place looks like following an event. With the left, the area is totally trashed. With the right, the place is cleaned up. In most cases it is cleaner after they left than it was when they arrived.

Just look at the after pics of ANY leftwing mass gathering, let alone any tree-hugger look-at-me gathering. Come to think of it, I myself participated in a few Tea Party Rallies and we left the place just as good if not cleaner than when we started. And Law Enforcement present? We treated them with respect and in no time at all they didn’t even remotely mind being there!

The rally was quite uneventful, violence wise. No arrests have been reported and no physical injuries; although, quite a few progs were triggered and felt “unsafe.” And the fake news has been breathlessly reporting it as a racist white power rally, despite all those brown faces in the crowd.

And sixteen thousand folks outside the fence.

Many, perhaps most, of the 16k were armed.

That is a -Division- of armed lobbyists, and another Brigade that presumably could be armed if they so chose.

The Fox News link reported one woman arrested for wearing a mask (bandana) in public, which is apparently a felony offense. But that same link has State Police lines up with every one of them wearing balaclavas over their faces.
I’d like to see a front photograph to see if those reflective vests were also covering their name tags. (Admins, if you can post pictures, please do so).

Well, the “state level LEO” did get a couple of things right. From what was reported, once inside the fenced-in area, you couldn’t go to the bathroom or get food or water. Those outside the fence had access to “many” porta-johns rented by the VCDL and some of the downtown restaurants and coffee shops stayed open. And made lots of money.
Apparently, Gov Blackface didn’t care about the citizens inside the Gun Free Zone and their bathroom needs.
