Kevin Massey Found Dead With Self Inflicted Wound

| January 13, 2020

Jonn wrote about Kevin Massey here. He was a felon in possession of a firearm, conducting militia activities on the border. He led a militia group that took matters into their own hands and detained illegal aliens crossing into the U.S. They set up a command post then conducted their patrols. Kevin Massey had a firearm when he wasn’t supposed to have one.

As Jonn pointed out, Massey and many people in these militias were felons. Kevin Massey had a social media presence, and he had many supporters. People praised him for standing up to the government and claimed that he was being persecuted by said government.

Many of these folk are people with criminal backgrounds or with shady characters who exercised one too many poor judgment calls in life. The result made it harder for them to have a track record of success. So, why not come up with wild stories claiming that a problem exists, then position themselves as the problem solver? Pay no attention to the checkerboard resume.

From The Dallas Morning News:

Massey, an electrician, was sentenced to 41 months in federal prison in 2016 for possession of a firearm by a felon, according to court records.

Law enforcement officials have warned about a rise in right-wing extremist activity in recent years that includes militia groups.

Although Massey called himself a patriot, the FBI considered him a domestic terrorist with “violent tendencies,” according to court records.

He was once found with 20 homemade explosive devices and other weapons and was considered armed and dangerous when he disappeared. His prison writings, archived online by a supporter, as well as his Facebook posts show that he fervently embraced right-wing extremist movements, all of which deny the legitimacy of the U.S. government and any laws limiting gun ownership.

Defendant Massey is a man who calls upon God to end the lives of the innocent to gratify his anger,” Assistant U.S. Attorney William Hagen wrote in 2015 in his unsuccessful attempt to seek a tougher prison term for Massey. “Defendant has called upon those who may share his misguided and misinformed views to take up arms in resistance against civilized laws enacted to protect the public.

The last bolded statement hints as someone having issues with authority. If you “peel the onion” dealing with Kevin Massey type militias, ANTIFA, BLM, etc., you’d find groups of people uniting behind a perceived problem. One that hinges on the assumption that the “problem” exists somewhere else and that it must be addressed.

The elephant in the room, peoples’ poor judgment, and what they’d rather do as opposed to what they are supposed to do, remain invisible. Thanks to GDContractor for the story.

Further proof that guys like Massey and Antifa, BLM, and the “militia” types out there are two sides of the same coin.

And no, not seeing any loss there.

Cameron Kingsley

I like to treat that coin as something I wouldn’t use to buy a soda with because it’s that disgusting. I feel the same way when looking at Nazi Germany, the Soviet Union, and Imperial Japan. Three countries that weren’t that much different from each other. All three were more alike than people like to think.

Mikhail Koulikov

Except, two of those fought a war with the U.S. the U.S.S.R. never did.

Oh, but they were cool uniforms.

Cameron Kingsley

I am well aware of that. It doesn’t mean I find them any better (or tolerable) than the other two.

Cameron Kingsley

And I must add that my thoughts on the matter are not going to change just because they fought Nazi Germany. As for their uniforms, I honestly could care less about that. I prefer the modern stuff anyway (MARPAT is my favorite shade).

And on this day, the 13 of January, year of our lord 2006, there were no fucks given. This was no patriot.

ChipNASA

Auto Correct, time machine or other reference I’m not getting?

SFC D

Nope, just typing with my head up my ass. “2006” should be “2020”.

‘D you may be righter than you think. I haven’t had any fucks to give either since ’06. Lost the last of ’em in the final divorce.

Good riddance to this trash.

Check out the video on his obituary (he liked to give the finger) as well as comments on his guestbook:

Apparently somebody loved him.
I often ask myself

“who will weep at my grave?”

Cameron Kingsley

Definitely shows his personal character. I don’t want to sound like a snob, but I find stuff like that trashy. It’s one thing to do it among friends or in a photo that you don’t intend to make public but to me shows poor character when you do it in a photo which you then make public and once you do that, there’s no taking it back. Is it bad that actions like that are a major turn off for me? Does that make me a bad person?

Better yet, the Free KC Massey Facebook page.
I found it, just for the COMMENTS.
Well, they are DELETING the comments,
and blocking the commenters
(just like the Elko POW*MIA Awareness Ass),
but they can’t undo the “HaHa” count and faces
(now with no names).

Supposedly he was in the Army for a grand total of 59 days.

Sometimes the trash takes itself out.

rgr769

Looks like he made it about halfway to the revered Gunga Dan Line. He musta been a real steely eyed warrior at BCT, anyway for a coupla months.

NHSparky

So by even the VA’s less than stringent standards, he doesn’t qualify as a veteran.

A Proud Infidel®™

If he had gone to prison again he would only have cost the taxpayers more money thus I consider this as tax dollars saved.

Sounds like Massey was “border” line suicidal. Any relation to Raymond Massey???

His Obituary stated that he was “voted Mr. Habitat for Humanity Man of the Year in 2010 and recognized by the National Rebuilding for America non-profit organization for his charitable deeds.”

Some interesting comments from others about that statement:

Pretty impressive when you can piss off TAH and DU at the same time, and also an extremely rare ocurance.

Question: Would it be inappropriate to send, in lieu of flowers, an industrial sized bag of gummy dicks to the funeral?

Duane

I’ll chip in to help pay for them!

Adios, MoFo.

MrBill

Massey made the world a better place- by removing himself from it.

M48DAT

Maybe his idiot side turned on his stupid side and he shot himself. Ball of bad wire in that boys head.

“his Facebook posts show that he fervently embraced right-wing extremist movements, all of which deny the legitimacy of the U.S. government and any laws limiting gun ownership.”

Is there a weird irony in that statement that only I am seeing, or have I and Maker’s Mark been too close this evening?🤷‍♂️

USAF RET

Unlike Epstein this dude killed himself…….too soon?
