Gee, a 5 shot .44 Special… think it was the M44 Taurus who did that in the ’90s on their version of a K frame. Lot of 3 and 4 inchers made, comparatively few 6″. With the longer barrel and a full solid underlug, they were a joy to shoot. Almost no felt recoil and great accuracy.

I have my High Standard Victor .22/4 in. barrel. Used it when I shot on the Brink’s shooting team during the .22 rimfire Police L comp matches. Never bought the longer 5 in barrel though. Mine was originaly made in Conn. Bought it around 1972.
