Nancy Pelosi responded with what (for her) can be described as ‘with anger’ when a reporter asked her if she hates Trump. The video was run on local news several times. She seems to be unable to use her left arm very much to express herself. (Might be simply a habit she picked up.)

“Don’t mess with me.” was her response. “I don’t hate anybody.” That should have been sufficient but she went on a rant about how she was “raised Catholic” and prays all the time, which left some doubt about her claim that she doesn’t “hate anybody”.

Pelosi, pointing a finger at Rosen, snapped back: “I don’t hate anybody.”
“I was raised in a Catholic house. We don’t hate anyone, not anybody in the world,” Pelosi said. “So don’t you accuse me —”

She could not stop defending herself and her attitude. The way to make yourself clear is to be brief, not rattle on. No need to defend simply saying “No”.
Now I, too, wonder if, and how much, she really does hate Trump. This vendetta she is leading is now suspect.

Saw this on the National ABC Broadcast on evening last. In addition to her other attributes, she can officially be classified as a hater and a liar. That is one more evil, conniving, crafty, hate filled bitch. Any student of body language can tell that easily. This whole political circus we have had to deal with over the last 3 years is a calculated attempt to overthrow the legitimately elected President of these United States. Sadly enough, I blame the republicrats for most of it. They had nearly 2 years with a majority in both houses to get something accomplished and blew it. The 2018 elections were proof that people were getting tired of do nothing pols and started the winnowing out process. Then you had repubs who were complacent and let the AOCs of the world beat them.
This bitch has been the center of what is wrong with the congress for way yonder too long. She needs to go…and soon!
Small nit to pick, in AOCs district the Dem ALWAYS wins. The Reps could run Jesus and lose. Blame rather the prior Dem incumbent who more or less ignored her and lost.
Not specifically speaking of AOC and that district in as much as other districts that had a repub that lost to a dim of her ilk. IIRC, prior to the ’18 election the repubs had a majority in both houses and lost the majority in the HoR. It may and or may not have been as much complacency and could have even been ballot box stuffing that caused some dims to win. Been known to happen.
The large number of those retiring had something to do with it as well.

In a way, you’ve got to feel a little sorry for her. She’s got her rabid lefty faction screaming for impeachment even though the adults in the room know that there’s no plausible scenario in which the president is actually removed from office, which makes the whole thing a charade and a farce.
And what’s worse, if it moves forward into a senate trial, it’s only likely to energize the President’s supporters in the battleground states which not only raises his chances of re-election but also the chance that the Republicans will take the house and she will lose her nice position.
But if she DOESN’T push for impeachment, her own extremist democrats will eat her alive.

As a practicing Roman Catholic, I find Nancy Pelosi claiming Catholicism as a shield for her crap to be offensive as hell. She promotes everything the Church stands against. Plus she’s disgustingly corrupt. She should have been excommunicated decades ago.

It is what it is. And I agree with Steeleye from another thread, it’s all political. Given that any typical DA can “indict a ham sandwich”, it follows that any majority in the house can impeach a sitting president, only if they are willing. Willingness usually involves putting a whip finger in the air and evaluating the political fallout. Unless something earth-shattering happens, the Senate will not convict and the budget deficit will continue to be about 1 trillion dollars a year.

Something remarkable is that Nancy Pelosi was able to use an implied threat without James Rosen calling her out on it by asking, “Or what?”
An interesting question is also if the threat was just bluster, or would Pelosi have been willing to carry out retaliation to the extent of getting Rosen fired or by, for example, moving to have the FCC pull Sinclair’s broadcast license.
Pelosi playing the pious Catholic card is also not a surprise. Former California Governor Jerry “I’m just an old Jesuit” Brown used to do it all the time.
Well she could subpoena all his electronic communications just like the Shiffhole did to another reporter, John Solomon. But 0bama’s crew already did that to Rosen about five years ago, but without a subpoena.
I thought that sort of thing was illegal.
