Nancy Pelosi’s Roman Catholic Card
Ex-PH2 posted about Nancy Pelosi’s latest rant here, and this is in reference to a question asked related to impeachment. As you guys have read here and elsewhere, someone asked Nancy Pelosi why she hated President Trump. This resulted in Nancy Pelosi going into a rant arguing against the idea that she hated people.

As a Catholic, I resent your using the word hate in a sentence that addresses me. I don’t hate anyone. I was raised in a way that is a heart full of love and always pray for the president. And I still pray for the president. And I pray for the president all the time, so don’t mess with me when it comes to words like that…
With this statement, she is implying that she is all about love, not hate and that she was raised as a Catholic. As such, her actions are “coached” with a religious/moral upbringing.
Since she brought up her Roman Catholic background, a comparison of what the Gospels say and her actions would be worth a look. A reading of the Bible, both of the Old Testament and of the New Testament, shows that the writers provided more meanings to a word than what we’d associate with the same word.
For example, “love” as Nancy Pelosi implies of her actions, is included in her actions. Many of the words that show up in the Bible, that focuses on knowledge, awareness, or other non-tangible actions, come with physical activity. Love, in this case, isn’t just what we associate with it.
Religious Definition of Love
In Matthew chapter 22, verses 36 through 40, Jesus specified what “love” is. When the Pharisees, wanting to entrap Jesus, asked him what the greatest commandment was, he replied by giving the intent of the 10 Commandments. The first part of his reply was to love God. The second part of his reply was to love your neighbor as yourself.
His actual response was more detailed, and he provided the intent of the 10 Commandments, statutes, and judgments.
In order to love God, one has to abide by the 1st through 4th commandments. In order to love your neighbor as yourself, you would have to abide by the 5th through 10th commandments.
The statutes and judgments that follow the 10 Commandments provide specific details on how to accomplish the 10 commandments. This is followed up with additional emphasis from the Book of Joshua through the book of Malachi. The New Testament packages these concepts.
So, if by “love”, we go by what the Bible says it is, how does Nancy Pelosi stack up with her “Catholic upbringing”?
Anybody reading the two transcripts of the telephone call between President Trump and his counterpart would have a hard time seeing the Democrats’ charges. No quid pro quo. Just two leaders interacting the way two presidents would be expected to interact.
How many times have we had a parent advise a child to not say anything about somebody else that isn’t true? Do not lie? Do not steal? Giving her the benefit of the doubt with regards to her upbringing claims… And assuming her upbringing is similar to ours, we would know right off the bat that she dishonored her parents by allowing this farce to occur.
By pushing the canard that President Trump committed impeachable offenses… And that she has to defend the Constitution, she is stealing the actual identity of the President in the minds of others. The witnesses and rules that she helped bring about resulted in one witness after another bearing false witness against the President.
She Behaved Similarly to Caiphas the High Priest
By going after President Trump this way, with the intent to negatively impact his presidency, or even his re-election chances in 2020, she and the Democrats are showing that they are coveting something they felt should’ve been theirs in the first place.
So far, we have listed a violation of the 5th, 8th, 9th, and 10th commandments… Four of the six commandments that must be abided by in order to truly “love your neighbor”.
So, based on the religious definition of “love”, there appears to be an inconsistency between Nancy Pelosi’s claims and with what she actually had allowed to happen. Her actions made her more like Caiphas the high priest, sans intent to take a life, than someone coached with moral authority.
If anything, she should be denied communion for her role in enabling and participating in this farce of an impeachment process.

And there it is. I often wondered how some of our bishops could, in good conscious, offer communion to the likes of Pelosi and Kennedy while they continued support of abortion and same sex marriage. You don’t have to hate the sinner but do have to remember what the church considers cardinal sins. At least a priest in South Carolina refused Joe Biden.

It is obvious from the picture posted above who this scrunt worships. That and the all mighty Gods of power and money. The Souls of every child aborted under your elected terms screams out in pain and hope for her burning in hell as Satan devours her worthless soul.
“…for we all have sinned and fallen short…” In the past I will admit to having if not broken, at least bent every one of His Commandments. I have well since turned from my wicked ways and don’t anymore. Well except for that whole covet thing. Still very much a back sliding Southern Baptist on that one. ‘Specially around the Hardin Household. I covet Dave’s truck, his Soviet, his humidor contents, his liquor cabinet. Not so much his shorts, fuzzy pink robe, or bicycle. I also covet the gun collections I see/read about here, and Ex-PH2s cooking.
My God is a forgiving God and His Son has prepared a place for me. Her God has also prepared a place for her…in the depths of the Lake of Fire. Burn Baby Burn!

Preparing for my upcoming Sunday School lesson, touching in part on Matthew 3:1-12, where John the Baptist calls the Sadducees and Pharisees “You brood of vipers”, I suspect that we can rightfully apply that epithet to many in both political parties.
Since Nancy Pelosi brought it up, it is now fair game to say to her “You hypocrite! Woe to you!”
I do sincerely pray for her to repent and be saved, but based on her works (“By their fruits you shall know them”) she is not a Christian, but in danger of everlasting torments.

Actually, the question asked was, “Do you hate Trump?” That’s much even less challenging that asking why she would.
But the only thing that seems to matter here is that someone DARED to question her about it at all. Who does Rosen think he is, anyway??
