A woman is claiming self-defense after she shot and killed her boyfriend inside their home in northwest Harris County, police say.

The two were arguing inside the home in the 5900 block of Pincay Oaks Drive around 10:45 p.m. Sunday when the 25-year-old man assaulted the 45-year-old woman, she told deputies.

She pulled a gun and shot the man in the chest, according to Harris County Sheriff’s Office homicide detective Sgt. Ben Beall.

The woman called 911 and immediately confessed to the shooting, Beall said. Paramedics rushed to the home and pronounced the man dead.

She later told deputies that she was defending herself from being attacked further, Beall said. He said the woman is being cooperative with detectives as they interview her.

Doesn’t every gentleman have a pair of proper pistols? The pictured set look quite nice.

As a matter of fact we do. And some of us became gentlemen without it taking an act of congress critters. My dueling irons are the percussion cap conversion .45 similar to the ones above. My other set of short barrel “boot guns” are above the mantle at brother’s place in Dakota with a double trigger Hawken to keep them Company.

Oh, and nothing like a double full house to get us “over the hump.”

The spot in Weehawken, NJ where Hamiliton got capped overlooks the Hudson river. I think if I remember, their is a school their now. We stopped there to check it out. Had to be around 40+ years ago while I was working.

There is I think a twenty year difference in ages between girl & boyfriend. If he were 20 years older then he could have sung to her “I’m so young” by the Students, 1958. I’ll get out my K*E 10 inch slide rule and figure it out but I have to see if I have enough talcum powder to keep it running on a long calculation like this one. Those 3 perps in Graves County were lucky that they didn’t end up in Graves themselves. Hmm, not bad.
