Stoger Defense Double Shotgun. Large caliber firearms seem all the rage these days at TAH(VG).

No charges will be filed against a man who killed his neighbor with a crossbow

By 41NBC Web Producer
District Attorney Ernie Lee says Antonio Eaton-DeRosa, 20, acted in self-defense when he shot and killed Frank Tate, Jr. at a mobile home park in the Rhodestown area on September 22.

Eaton-DeRosa told authorities Tate was threatening him, so he shot him to protect himself. He called 911 afterward and said it was an accident.

Lee says Eaton-DeRosa told investigators that as Tate was coming toward him in a threatening manner, he was backing up and turning around when he accidentally shot the crossbow, hitting Tate in the side.

Sheriff’s detectives interviewed 13 people, including two witnesses.

Samurai sword-wielding man killed by liquor store owner on Long Island: Police

PORT JEFFERSON, Long Island (WABC) — Police are investigating after a man with a samurai sword was shot and killed in a liquor store on Long Island Thursday.

The incident was reported at Port Jeff Liquors in the 150 block of East Main Street just after 2 p.m.

Police say 50-year-old Theodore Scoville walked into the store swinging dangerously close to the owner with a two-foot blade, and the owner shot him.

Scoville was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say surveillance video matches what the store owner told them.

“He had a sword beneath a poncho, it seems to be without saying a word, he pulled the sword out, swung it three times — at least three times — at a very close distance to the person behind the counter,” said Lt. Det. Kevin Beyrer with the Suffolk County police.

Subway customer charged with murder after man killed by employee

By: Darryn Moore , Steve Gehlbach , Audrey Washington
DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. – Police say a customer has been charged with murder after a deadly shooting at a Subway restaurant that also involved an employee in Lithonia Monday night.

DeKalb County police tell Channel 2 Action News officers responded to the Subway in the 3000 block of Panola Road in Lithonia around 9:30 p.m.

Officers found two customers shot and one dead.

Channel 2’s Audrey Washington learned that a fight broke out between a customer, Jeremiah Furlow, possibly another customer and the employee, neither of which has been identified.

Police said the argument continued outside in the parking lot and Furlow pointed a weapon at the employee and threatened to him. Police said the employee fired shots, wounding Furlow and killing the other customer.

Investigators said the argument started when Furlow asked for a cup of water without buying anything first.

A number of Subway customers watched the shooting happen.

The victim died at the scene. Paramedics rushed Furlow to the hospital.

Nothing like a trifecta of DRTs FIRST thing of a morning. And having our favorite squidly aviator back on duty where he belongs. Life is good. For some of us anyways.

If NC had some common sense crossbow laws the dirtbag…err, err, good citizen would still be with us contributing to being a parasite on society. Are they discriminating against long bows?

Even a long knife is still a knife. Don’t tote one to a gun fight. You will lose; every.damn.time!

Dekalb County Georgia. sigh! Enjoy the thug life, everyday…everywhere. Where is ‘Cump Sherman now that Atlanta needs him again? Burn, Baby, Burn! Or maybe a good Arc Light/Rolling Thunder BUFF strike.

“Large caliber…all the rage…” Why hell to the yeah. All of God’s chil’ren lubs them some person portable Artillery. From toteable to floatable to flyable to mobile, it all boils down to the Artillery, The King of Battle, The Winner of Wars.

And in “Merrie Olde England” where they have all the right gun laws:
“A carjacker died after he accidentally blasted himself in the chest while trying to smash a window with the butt of his shotgun, an inquest has heard.
Witnesses who saw the 22-year-old dying from gunshot wounds in the street outside a Lloyds bank in Sydenham on Sunday, September 8, said his own gun may have gone off when he used to to hit a car window.”

Sounds like the perp in Merry Olde England will now be the BUTT of all jokes. Wasn’t going to comment on this BUTT I thought I’d had better before someone beats me to it. Speaking of shotguns in England, Brink’s truck crews weren’t allowed to carry firearms so they had guard dogs on board. Quite a number of years ago, a crew was held up and the perps with a shotgun blasted the dog. No more dogs after the incident and I heard that a few of the crews complained that sometimes the dogs messed up (shit) the interior of the trucks. Heard this from one of our air couriors before we switched to Fed Ex and later UPS to transport our material.

Good Riddance to Bad Rubbish.

For the benefit of those who won’t read the original article, this incident happened in Eglandistan in broad daylight in the middle of the street in a medium sized town. The deceased dirtbag was wielding a shotgun trying to possibly carjack someone. The affray with the driver and his passengers caused our Darwin Awards winner to attempt to break the window of the car with the butt of his shottie, but while the muzzle was pointed at his chest. One of his whacks at the window discharged the shotgun into his chest. The police and the coroner have ruled his death was by misadventure and not arising from a criminal act. Go Figure. Guess they want to keep the case off their crime stats.

Samurai sword-wielding man killed by liquor store owner :

J. B.

Indeed, you all think you are Indian Jones or John Wayne or Matt Dillon from Gun Smoke. But this sort of dark humor about gun violence is precisely why Americans have, and will have, less and less tolerance daily for Second Amendment activists who cheer each time someone uses a gun in America.

Jokes like yours are absolutely sickening and make many of you appear to be nothing more than a mentally unstable, trigger-happy cowards ruled by delusional fantasies of heroism or by paranoid thinking or by both.

Such gun owners make society less safe, not more safe and should not be allowed to possess a firearm of any type. Wait to see what Congress has in store for such gun owners. Then, see who is laughing. Trust me. It’s coming. America is tired of gun killings!!! Period!!!

5th/77th FA

J.B. I don’t know what kind of fantasy land you are living in, nor do I know the flavor of kool aid you are drinking. I do know this; you check the # of gun laws in say, Chitcongo, v the # of dirtbags killing one another. Then you go a check the law in say, Kennesaw GA where citizens are known to carry and have guns in the house. Compare that crime rate. Then you check out all the other demon crap run cities around Atlanta where the hood rats run rampant. Show me how having an armed citizenry is a bad thing. I’ll wait right here.

I really don’t want to shoot somebody … But I will! The one time in my life when I didn’t have a firearm was the one time in my life that I really needed one. Never again.

Quit mollycoddling criminals, make punishment public, swift, and severe and you will see the crime rate drop.

J.B.

“I really don’t want to shoot somebody … But I will! The one time in my life when I didn’t have a firearm was the one time in my life that I really needed one. Never again.”

AW1Ed, you must be a Constitutional Scholar. But you must have also been absent from law school they day Constitutional Amendments were covered.

When and if a Constitutional Amendment is needed to address ongoing gun violence, and it will be if the SCOTUS staunchly strikes down necessary and prudent gun legislation, then the SCOTUS will have absolutely no role in the amendment process or power to revere it.

If an amendment is needed, as has happen in the past to deal with other problems, it will be the American voters and their elected Representatives in Congress who have all the final say. So, you’d better hope your own prediction about the SCOTUS blanketly overruling gun legislation is wrong if you want to continue to own a gun. Or else, the 2nd Amendment will be…….. Gone! Gone! Gone!

By the way, you can mock and downplay senseless and tragic deaths involving guns all you desire. Go ahead. Look like an insensitive Jerk if that’s what you want to look like. I don’t care how you look. That’s up to you.

But know this. Americans (the people, our leaders, our judges, even our president) are growing more and more sick each day of seeing mass shooting and many, many other gun deaths every time the TV in on. But you already knew that. Didn’t you?

If gun violence and red-neck/hillbilly gun-culture continue to plague our great nation, then I have no doubt all gun owners will be getting an intensive education on the entire processes for amending the Constitution of the United State of America.

We have a weekly humor post of funny stuff. Hardly a thread passes where one of our regulars hasn’t added some funny thing or other.

All I hear from the left are angry scolds and promises of doom.

Project much?

Graybeard

Just-a Butthead:

It is your misconception that the people of the gun-culture are ignorant and violent fools.

If you had done your homework on this site, you would have found that we have a number of very scholarly folks here who have written on the sundry Amendments in some detail earlier this year, you would have read Ex-PH2’s dissertation just last week on this topic as well.

If you were not so blinded by the arrogance of your ignorance, you would realize that we all deplore the state of places like Chicago where the misguided policies have resulted in many needless deaths. You would recognize what the Founding Fathers knew and what we here still adhere to: that it is the People, the individual citizens of these United States, that are the best suited to defending ourselves and to determining for ourselves what is the best way to live our lives. Not some pseudo-intellectual group, not some political party or position, and certainly not you.

The facts support the position that those who take ownership of their own safety, their own lives, the protection of their family, friends, neighbors, those who own and learn to use firearms and other tools to deter and stop criminals, those are the people who are effective in stopping and preventing criminals.

Facts are stubborn things, do not let your religion of liberalism/socialism/tyranny blind you to that. For we are sworn to protect and defend the Constitution of these United States in whatever way necessary.

J. B.

Dear Graybeard,

I respond to your comment not as an expert or scholar, not as a political partisan, but as a citizen of the greatest nation on earth.

Due to ongoing gun violence, we, as a nation, are faced with the very gravest of challenges, challenges never imagined by the drafters of the Constitution. And yet, for the first time in many years, we now possess the political power to bring these ongoing tragedies to an final end.

Those millions of good citizens who are concerned about this ever increasing plague upon our nation already know that every vote will count in 2020. If we are to put an end to this long, national nightmare, then we must support and empower our politicians to act and act swiftly to ban guns everywhere.

Through all of the chaos of the decade years; through all of the wrongs and the discord between Americans over the obvious need to repealing the Second Amendment; through all of the agonizing pain and suffering of those who have lost loved ones to senseless gun violence¬; there is one thing that has nourished our souls, and elevated our spirits, and that is our faith that we can accomplish the great challenge of freeing ourselves from this great plague.

As you might imagine, the dreams of a people are focused on those candidates now seeking to bring about such positive change. And may we all, citizens of America, see these events through with unity and purpose and hope for a bright and glorious future where all may live in peace and without fear of gun violence.

Sincerely,

J.B.

You are not going to disarm us. Ain’t happening.

Slavery is not freedom.

You haven’t proposed a single thing that will disarm criminals, so your bullshit is glaringly obvious.

Not happening, toot, and in case you missed it, the country is running heavily in the pro-freedom direction.

Mason

“never imagined by the drafters of the Constitution”

How superior you must feel to utter such trash and disparage the memory of the men who framed this country. The real brilliance in the entirety of the Constitution and the Bill of Rights is the absolute prescience with which it was drafted.

Consider that the Second Amendment was written and ratified just years after the founders had won their independence from a much stronger power. At the same time as they were debating and ratifying the Bill of Rights people were being beheaded in the French Revolution. They fully understood how the Second Amendment would affect any future “very gravest of challenges”. That’s the whole fucking point.

Get out of your liberal bubble and read about what the founders themselves had to say on the topic.

ArmyATC

Your ignorance and bigotry are duly noted.

Hondo

I see that our gun-grabbing troll who can’t stand the idea of personal freedom is back. Lemme ‘splain something to ya, J.B., since you seem to be stuck in Fantasy Land. Good luck getting the 2/3 of both Houses of Congress needed to approve any proposed Constitutional Amendment modifying the 2nd Amendment (or, alternatively, getting the same number of state legislatures to petition Congress to convene a Constitutional Convention). And that’s the short pole in the process. The long pole will be getting 3/4 of the states to ratify such an amendment in the incredibly unlikely event it gets through Congress or is proposed by a Constitutional Convention. Since your comments above lead me to belive you’re math-challenged (or are too dense to understand what the above means), I’ll do the math for you. First: you need a 2/3 majority in both the House and Senate to even send a proposed Constitutional Amendment to the states for ratification. That’s the same majority as is required for Congress to override a veto. That in turn means 290 votes in favor in the House and 67 votes in favor in the Senate – damned difficult to pull off, but occasionally possible on an issue where there’s broad national consensus. If you think modifying the 2nd Amendment would be an example of an issue having “broad national consensus”, you are IMO sadly mistaken. Next, the proposed amendment must be approved by the legislatures of 3/4 of the states before it becomes part of the Constitution. 3/4 of 50 = 37.5 – which means that 38 states must approve before the amendment is ratified. That in turn means if 13 states say, “No” – the amendment fails. Considering that more states than that (14 15 now, 15 16 on 1 Nov 2019) currently permit concealed carry without a permit (AKA “Constitutional Carry”), I think that getting the legislatures of 38 states to approve modifing the 2nd Amendment has about the proverbial snowball’s chance in hell of happening any time soon. This is precisely the reason that exceedingly few highly contentious issues give rise to… Read more »

Mason

For reference, see the 27th Amendment. Originally proposed as the second article of the Bill of Rights on 24 Aug, 1789. Ratified more than 202 years later.

There’s still one other article of the original Bill of Rights proposal still pending.

The Constitution is intentionally difficult to amend. Which is why those who wish to gut it have taken to the courts instead of the amendment process as intended.

So please explain what you mean by “plague”…?

SFC D

So tell me, J.B. Just how do you plan to disarm the gun-owning criminals, after you’ve disarmed the law-abiding gun owners? Let’s start the discussion there. I’m not a lawyer, nor a constitutional scholar. But I do know without any doubt that criminals give not one shit about gun laws.

That’s why we call them criminals. Now please, do carry on.

J.B.

Dear SFC D,

Your question is quite a good one. Infact, I love it, soldier!

However, I won’t be disarming anyone since I’m not law enforcement. I’m happily now a civilian. Enforcing law is, as it has always properly been, the work of our heroes, the police and military.

Once the 2nd Amendment is repealed, then anyone still refusing to forfeit their deadly and illegal weapons will infact be deemed dangerous criminals and dealt with as any armed and dangerous criminals would be.

This is nothing new as law enforcement has historically dealt with non-compliant armed criminals who refuse to “drop” their weapons time and time again. No new training will be necessary.

I’ll just catch it on the evening news unless something better is on.

Forgive me. But I have certain TV shows I simply cannot miss which would be way more entertaining.

Is that clear enough for you, soldier? I sure hope I answered your question adequately.

If not, I can break it down Barney style for you if that will help.

Sincerely,

J.B.

P.S. Is your name short for “Southern Fried Chicken… Discharge”? Sorry, but I just had to ask. I sure hope they didn’t make you eat the Big Chicken Dinner (BCD) while you were in the service! Hoorah!

A Proud Infidel®™️

JB, you’re full of shit once again, look at the jump in violent crime after the gum bans in [formerly] Great Britain and Australia once those happened. Couple that with the Violent Crime Rate in Cities like Chicongo and while idiots like you blame it on the availability of guns in locales outside of the area, then why aren’t those places violent hellholes as well? If guns cause crime like useful idiots like you claim, then why doesn’t the fine City of Kennessaw GA have a sky high body count? If “guns kill people” like you claim, then how does anyone make it out of a Gun Show alive, huh, snowflake!

11B-Mailclerk

You missed the part where the armed folks defy you, and send your stormtroopers running, or to graves.

There is even a nice historical example at Concord Bridge.

heh.

PavePusher

P.S. The military do not “enforce laws”, fuckstick. That is not at all their mission or duty.

By law.

ArmyATC

You make huge assumptions. First, you assume the 2nd Amendment will be repealed. That’s not going to happen in my or your lifetime. Polls show citizens are against a repeal and gun confiscation. Your second assumption is that local police will agree to confiscate the firearms of citizens. Many, perhaps most won’t. This is especially true in county sheriffs departments and small towns. I think even in some larger cities many police officers will refuse any confiscation order. And according to the Supreme Court local law enforcement is under no duty or obligation to enforce federal law or help federal law enforcement.

Those officers you think will confiscate firearms know one thing you appear to be oblivious to. They and their families live in the very communities that you believe they’ll confiscate firearms.

As for police officers treating citizens who refuse to give up their guns as criminals, I doubt that’ll happen either. I mentioned two reasons above. Then one need only look at the lack of compliance in states that have banned certain firearms to understand how widespread the problem would be for the government. There simply aren’t enough federal, state, and local police to handle that level of “criminality.”

One other thing I find very amusing. The left says that only the military and police should have firearms. But those are the same police officers they claim are racists who are slaughtering black men, women, and children. Rational thought was never strong on the left.

But, good luck with your pipe dream.

Ex-PH2

Why is it that these whining, self-involved thumbsuckers always forget that NO ONE IS FORCING THEM TO BUY, OWN OR EVEN TOUCH a weapon of any kind?

I covered this in an article about gun control last week, you dimwit. It’s a shame you didn’t show up then.

ArmyATC

First, asshole, you’re on a site filled with veterans, many of whom have served in combat zones. A dark sense of humor is found throughout the military, especially the closer one gets to the pointy end of the spear.

Second, humor – whether dark or not – does not make society less safe. Not
understanding humor is a sign of an emotionally and mentally stunted personality.

“America is tired of gun killings!!!” America is tired of perpetually offended assholes who take no delight in life so seek to bring everyone else down to their miserable level of existance.

Roh-Dog

Boom!

ArmyATC, WTF!

Graybeard

Y’all know I’m not a vet, but as a former EMT-B and retired employee in a state prison system, the dark humor is still there.

I think for anyone who has been in and seen the grim and gory side of life, the dark humor is evidence of a healthy mind.

Not that J.B. would know what a healthy mind is.

ArmyATC

Brother, whether you wore the uniform or not, you’re still a veteran. I can’t speak for anyone else, but I view our first responders – law enforcement, EMTs, and firefighters – in the same way as military veterans. You all don’t get the recognition you deserve. Never feel inferior because your life called you to other service. You save lives. What greater calling can one answer? Thank you for your service.

Graybeard

Thanks, ArmyATC.
I still won’t claim the status of ‘veteran’ – my father, brothers, and son stand too high in my esteem to claim equality with them.

In all honesty, my regret is that as a stupid high-school kid (but I repeat myself) during the 1960s-70s I let myself lose the dream of following in Dad’s footsteps out of High School into the Army. But that’s water under the bridge.

J.B.

ArmyATC,

You said:

11B-Mailclerk

Hondo

Let me explain the second part of ArmyATC’s comment above – which seems to have gone over your head – to you. I’ll use short, simple words, caveman style:

He talk about you. You no get dark jokes.
That mean you must be sad, mad fool with poor life.

You one trick pony. You trick: “Guns . . . baaaaaaad!”
That what me think from start.
Glad to see me right.

ArmyATC

If you were even semi-educated you’d understand that in many cases dark humor is a coping mechanism employed by those who have seen, or regularly see, the dark side of humanity. You may find it offensive, but the mental health of those who serve on the front lines and see human depravity – service members, first responders, and emergency room providers – is much more important than the feelings of snowflakes who are free of the carnage caused by human scum.

Now, did you have a point besides the one on your head?

ArmyATC

As a follow up, using any object, whether it be a gun, knife, baseball bat, or hammer to defend oneself, ones loved ones, or property is not a sign of mental or emotional instability. Cracking jokes about the scum who karma kicked hard in the ass is not a sign of mental or emotional instability.

Perhaps you should focus your outrage on those who cause the mayhem instead of those who stop it. That would be a sign that you are emotionally and mentally stable.

Doc Savage

“J. B.”? Is that short for “Just Born”? Or possibly “Just Brainless”?
Wouldn’t “J. C.” have been a better fit, as “Just Clueless”? I have some simple, basic, common sense questions that I would ask of any of the gun haters:
1. What is your plan to disarm the miscreants, muggers, home invaders, and store robbers? (That would have to be implemented first, for safety’s sake, and deserves an answer.)
2. What would you suggest the law abiding citizens among us do if we are set upon by the types listed in #1?
(Really, that too is a serious question that deserves a common sense answer.)
Think about the questions, mull them over, and form sensible responses and come back and share your knowledge and enlighten us.
And for your information, to date, there is nothing better to stop a person’s life of crime than a very large, messy, (<<<and I mean brains, bone, and blood splattered on the wall messy), Cranial Exit Wound. Com’n back and talk to us. We’d love to hear what you have to offer as a solution.

26Limabeans

His/her answer would be the
military going door to door.
Funny how that amendment the third
came immediately after the second.
Kinda like “and oh by the way….”

Cameron Kingsley

And that pesky Posse Comitatus Act gets in the way as well (this should really be an amendment, dealing with crime should mainly be left to law enforcement).

26Limabeans

Here is a good place to purchase the “pocket constitution”:

https://nccs.net/

A bit pricey now but back during the Obama years I
purchased them in bulk and gave them away to
strangers on the street, leave them on counters in
gun shops etc. Mailed one to then Guvnah LePage and
he responded with a hand written thank you note.

Everyone should have a copy in front of them
while arguing your point. Always ask a politition
if they have a copy on them. Some do.

Cameron Kingsley

I think I will order one for myself one of these days.

J. B.

This sounds like real back alley stuff. You really should get yourself tested.

You may have contracted something.

J.B.

Are you OK? Seriously. You seen a bit off.

A Proud Infidel®™️

Hey halfwit, still trolling when you’re not washing dishes or cleaning the Men’s Room at Joe’s Bar and Grill?

J. B.

“Cranial Exit Wound.”

You really seem sick. Seek help!!!!!!!

11B-Mailclerk

Even your troll-posting is grossly sub-par.

PavePusher

‘Such gun owners” are not the ones committing crimes, you Fascist pig.

26Limabeans

You left out the part where guns are just an extension of the penis.
Same for bikers. That Harley is just a
big loud penis.
Freudian kind of thing long debunked by
the APA but remains a favorite trope of
the confused such as yerself.
Penis envy much?

J. B.

If that’s your thing… then no judgement. But you might want to see someone about that. I think they have a cure for it!

A Proud Infidel®™

You’re not even a BOOT.

11B-Mailclerk

Brought a sword to a gunfight … oops.

Fyrfighter

Dude had obviously not seen Indiana Jones

rgr769

I think ol’s JB or BJ brought more like a figurative butter knife to a gunfight. He, she, xhit, is definitely not a swordsman/person.

J.B.

rgr769,

“I think ol’s JB or BJ brought more like a figurative butter knife to a gunfight. He, she, xhit, is definitely not a swordsman/person.”

I must ask. Are you having trouble distinguishing between a “he” or “she” these days, soldier. That’s a very, very bad sign. Indeed. I suggest you go see the Corpsman immediately.

11B-Mailclerk

Toot, you have an amazing technique for rake-stepping.

Maybe learn to code? Your future in slapstic or stand-up is … bleak.

J. B.

11B-Mailclerk,

If that’s your way of offering to be my B’Atch… then…

Ok. I guess.

At least at this point I’m OK with a probationary period for me and you to try it out.

…NSA

Heart… heart… heart!

11B-mailclerk

Stand up comedy isn’t working for you either.

“soldier” “Corpsman”
I would call that a tell.

J. B.

Manifestly unsat, soldier. But feel free to try again. The O.C. is quite patent.

A Proud Infidel®™

You sound like you washed out at the first or second week of Basic Training!

11B-Mailclerk

I rather doubt he even got as far as walking in a Recruiter’s office.

J.B.

You might consider refraing from making fun of veterans who die due to TBI, PTSD and lack of proper medical care. It’s rather unbecoming for any guardian of valor. Don’t you agree?

A Proud Infidel®™️

Is that all you can come up with when you’re not blowing winos behind bus stops?

11B-Mailclerk

Toot isn’t allowed out after dark.

3/10/MED/b

JB, do you have a “THIS IS A GUN-FREE ZONE” sign in your front window? I’m sure all the “honest” folk in your neck of the woods would love to have that little tidbit of information.

Mason

It’s right next to his “All are welcome here” sign. Which is just in front of the sign that says “Fuck Trump” and the one that says “Republicans are Nazis.”

The Stranger

I hereby move that we welcome our new friend JB to this site with the Hemisphere of Insults! I know, I know, I’m just a giving person.

Toxic Deplorable Racist B Woodman

Nah. BJ hasn’t proven himself worthy of the HoI. I move (grunt!) that we welcome him with the Toiletbowl of Taunts.

11B-Mailclerk

“Fart in its general direction” will suffice.

Graybeard

His mother was a hamster?

A Proud Infidel®™️

J.B. didn’t know this was an idiot free zone.

rgr769

I don’t think J.B. will be back. But anyone know what happened to our not Helpful but without Medal troll?

Cameron Kingsley

I think he might have gotten IP banned. However, We did get two short lived replacements for him; Lance Corporal Rhodes and nowayjose (who was making fun of Ex-PH2). All of their comments pretty much got nuked. They might have gotten banned as well.

J. B.

Indeed. I’m so banned.

🙂

Cameron Kingsley

Well, well, well, look at what the cat dragged in. I don’t believe I was talking about you. You pathetic worm.

26Limabeans

I hope she comes back and tells us a little
bit more about herself.

J.B.

Indeed. You are quite right as always?

A Proud Infidel®™️

You are one VERY dedicated Village Idiot!

11B-Mailclerk

Toot never heard of “hunting over bait”.

J. B.

Negative.

But tell me more, soldier.

11B-Mailclerk

You are still irrelevant, toot.

11B-Mailclerk

Always entertaining when some ill-informed person seeks to left-splain the Second Amendment and/or guns to a forum of veterans.

You know, those folks who swore to “support and defend” the Constitution, who may have actually read it. And maybe read some history. And maybe dealt with reality.

Ex-PH2

Well, since I already DID an article on this issue last week, JB (Just Brainless!!!) is a week late and $100 short.

I thought I was quite clear in what I posted, but must have left out the part that would attract the Trolls like flies.

It’s that ‘all rights not at the federal level are reserved to the states’ part of the US Constitution that allows the states to set up and enforce their own gun laws.

Just Brainless (JB) must have missed that part.

J.B.

Who’s a “troll”? Anyone who whips you outright in an argument publicly online?

Stop hiding behind your manifestos.

A Proud Infidel®™️

You sound like you’ve been indoctrinated at someplace like UC Berzerkely!

11B-Mailclerk

You have rather grandly self-identified as a troll, toot.

Like a goose driven off by a dog, you pose as if victorious and honk loudly, but to no effect.

J. B.

Manifestly unsat, soldier. But feel free to try again. The O.C. is quite patient.

11B-mailclerk

You make my point, toot.

A Proud Infidel®™

He is one very useless idiot.

Mason

Nobody here being whipped except for you, buddy. Now go cut me a switch so we can do it again.

PavePusher

There’s only one thing you’ve whipped lately, and it’s not anyones’ arguments….

J. B.

You’re the only one talking about it as far as I can ascertain.

So, get some stroke mags and go for it, soldier!

Hoorah!

11B-Mailclerk

You are still irrelevant, toot.

More than a little off-topic, BUT PG&E has announced that they’re cutting power to hundreds of thousands of customers in anticipation of the Santa Ana Winds causing fires via their transmission lines to include UC Berzerkely:

Infringed

A morning dawns, barely, with fringes of rain along
the well-worn path to the daily paper.
She is regulated by her body’s clock, still on Eastern time,
as Melissa listens to the drops dribble and splat.
Being home from her trip,
it’s necessary to re-enter the daily routine,
to plan her lessons,
take out the trash. She finds
security in these habits. But the news announces another
shooting of innocents by a madman with
an assault rifle. “How does this make us
free?” she wonders. It leaves her
in a state of bewilderment.
The paper also mentions
a gun-rights-advocating family in Nevada, still grieving at the bedside
of their wife/mother/sister, victim
of the Vegas concert shooting where
58 people were killed, 489 wounded. Like Rosemarie who struggles
to keep food down,
keep family morale up,
and for whom anti-anxiety drugs are now an essential nutrient.
They bear it by crying in each other’s
arms, remembering the fun-lover their matriarch was,
so that person shall
not perish from this earth. They come to realize that her right
to be intact has been
infringed by the blast effect of high-speed bullets and that this kind of trespass
must somehow be curtailed. Melissa nods and sobs.

Roh-Dog

You want me to believe someone that considers this art would be able to run a utopian society free of violence?
Yeah, I’ll keep my Arms and you keep your drug-ridden, homeless filled, disease infested coastal hellhole.
Deal?

J. B.

Dearest Roh-Dog,

Your words reveal too much about you.

That you recognize this poem as only “art” is both good and bad.

THE GOOD…

That you have the ability to name something as “art” denotes an intelligent and sentient being is speaking.

THE BAD…

That you fail to realize that meaning when it describes human tragedy denotes an utter lack of human compassion.

THE UGLY…

That you have such an immense capacity for detachment from human suffering is quite apparent to all.

Indeed, all of your words here illustrate that you celebrate all things which are humanly unkind.

This, along with your obvious attachments to instruments of death would concern anyone.

Indeed, it is quite unsettling.

Sincerely,

J.B.

11B-Mailclerk

Roh-Dog

I submit that I do have a detached indifference to the world’s suffering because there’s nothing I can do about it, you know, like an adult. Mankind can not save itself, that task must be completed by the Light through atonement, not attrition.
But for the rest of it, you’re barstool psychology is just amazing….you must be fun at parties.
Here’s my parting shots, you don’t get a right to judge me, you’ll never get the guns, and I’d rather die than serve your master.

J. B.

Desrest, Roh-Dog, You’re getting better all the time. You speak of “Light.” But there is something else you might contemplate. Most live their lives failing to grasp the full point of that living. Because human beings perceive, think, act, and feel primarily in terms of dualities, much is overlooked. I have found it helpful to speak of the mystery of darkness in referring to that which is missed in the process of existence. It is the that mystery which is the one, the totality, the eternal. But we, who are finite, cannot experience the whole of this mystery. We must process it piecemeal. So then, for most, it remains unknown. But it is this darkness that brought us forth, sustains us, moves us and ultimately calls us to return to our origin. It is the darkness that moves the universe and will ultimately call it to its cold, icy and entropic end. But we experience it most profoundly in human experience through death, destruction, chaos. Such experiences most often leave us confused, angry, fearful, frustrated, and grieving because we struggle to comprehend their full meaning in the continuum of our existence. But, within human experience, there is a bridge to this mystery that most never cross. The very actuality of life and the very certainty of death force us to regard the space and time of our lives as causal and finite in nature. We too easily settle for this perception and most avoid reflection upon this realty unless it is thrust upon them by circumstance. But the union of these two mysteries, the mysteries of life and death, in the cosmos is characterized in all classical theories about existence and takes us beyond mere causality and finitude. Somehow, through observation of this cyclical play, we glimpse something of the eternal. We capture a glimpse of the mystery of darkness which is the only true mystery. It is the beginning and the end. Existence and nothingness are as complementary but exclusive realities of the totality of being. Indeed, they are one. At least, this is what I have slowly come… Read more »

That’s pretty deep, some Kantian shit right there. You’re existential freak out aside, I think you’re working really hard at going no where. I’d like to be your shaman on this ego-acid trip you got going on but I don’t care brah.

The walls of the present are cold. They are a cage made of memories, shadows of the past. Alone I sit in silence as the demons of yesterday clutter round me. They convict and restrain me again and I am allowed no penance, no redemption.
Each night I hear a thunder of war in the distance.
But it is only a memory.
I see a vision of countless crosses,
endless crosses stretching over the freshly dug fields.
But it is only a memory. I feel the pains that were given, that I gave,
on so many days of loss, and, there is no light to free me from these shadows which cage me. I know I should have been dead long ago
and suspect that perhaps I did indeed die, long ago. I cry out to God. I seek his consolation.
But I know that he cannot help me.
I have created my own prison in which I am the only prisoner and the only guard.

It’s obvious to me that you enjoy being a 24K idiot, JB, is that all you can come up with when you’re not blowing winos behind bus stops?

J.B.

Dear A Proud Unfidel,

You keep using the phrase…

“blowing winos behind bus stops?”

I’ve counted it 34 times in your posts

YIKES!

Are you trying to tell us something about yourself?

By the way, I’m not a wino. Are you? I own a very nice car and don’t take buses anywhere. So, please don’t look for me at the bus stop.

Just wanted you and I to be clear on that matter since it keeps coming up… again and again.

Sincerely,

11B-Mailclerk

It was irony you missed. You are not that useful, toot.

Roh-Dog

I’m starting to question your motives about your postings; do you have an unhealthy obsession following this blog or do you glow?

J. B.

Dearest Roh-Dog,

That you are starting to question anything is a good sign. I like that.

Look back at your posts and you’ll be well on your way to improving your less than sat performance here.

Take it from the TOC. He knows what he’s saying and he knows why he’s here. Indeed.

Roh-Dog

Less than sat performance? Subjective opinion not supported by qualitative or quantitative analysis.

Damn right question everything.

Of course you can’t write ‘Fuck’ on a plane, it’s obscene.

The only thing the TOC knows is what’s told, that and how to ruin coffee.

I enjoy your moxie but you still ain’t disarming shit.

J. B.

Dearest 911B-Mailclerk,
