Marine Uses Fake Facebook Profile to Catch Girlfriend Cheating

| September 19, 2019

An article in ebaumsworld.com tells of a man while away at Marine boot camp catches his girlfriend sneaking around behind his back.  He did this while using a fake Facebook profile.

Marine in Training Catches His Girlfriend Cheating by Facetiming Her With a Fake Facebook Profile

While away at boot camp this guy discovered his girl was creeping around behind his back and set up a fake profile to catch her in the act.

I wonder if he used the name “Jody” in his false Facebook profile?

Hack Stone

Hack Stone despises fake social media pages. Anyone who would go to the trouble of setting up a fake Facebook and Linked In page to troll people should be sentenced to serving as Director of Social Media for a proud but humble woman owned business that sells software to the federal government.

Twist

I had a fake Facebook page for a while. It was back when my wife was into Facebook games like Farmville. I set it up so that she could send her game requests to that profile instead of clogging up my real one.

AW1Ed

So that would be “Fake Book” then?

FuzeVT

Isn’t it all?

The Other Whitey

I learned my lesson about social media back when myspace was still a thing. Got off of that after about a year, maybe less, and never went back. Myspace Tom and Zuckfuck can blow eachother for all I care.

FuzeVT

I had an FB account for about two weeks when I was a captain. After my first friend request from a female corporal who had just EASed, I decided it wasn’t for me.

Nothing good happens after Midnight or on the Internet…

Hack Stone begs to differ. Some of the best inspiration for threads were about five years ago on TAH, usually around 02:30, when we were taught that all you need to succeed in life is to have lucky sperm, bad grammar, atrocious hygiene, a 1980’s vintage Jaguar that can’t pass inspection and a mailbox without a door.

True dat, quite informative…

Jodi, Jodi, six foot four,
Jodi’s never been whooped before.
Gonna get a two day pass,
Gonna kick his [insert two syllable word] ass!

I have a book with some more at home, but I remembered that one.

The Other Whitey

I only wish he could have split-screened the bitch’s reaction when she got caught. Having been cheated on, and seen it happen to others I care about, I utterly detest cheaters. That level of selfishness disgusts me to no end.

5th/77th FA

^^This^^ TOW, yep been there had that done to me, yet I was the one being accused of the cheating. I’m wid you all the way here.

That young man had the right ‘tude tho. Plenty of fish in the sea. He’ll be alright in that regard. This whole thing will give him some serious trust issues for awhile tho.

Twist

I got that t-shirt. My ex-wife was constantly accusing me of cheating at the drop of a hat (never mind the fact that resurrection would be a proven fact because my Father would come back from the grave and kick my ass if I ever cheated) while she was the one sleeping with anyone with a hard on.

The Other Whitey

Had an ex-girlfriend (the Puerto Rican Navy brat) who put out for pretty much everybody except me, I was just the one she brought home to mom & dad. She complained nonstop about my work schedule, while often jumping onto some randomly-available swingin’ dick within fifteen minutes of me leaving. When her dad (a Navy Senior Chief, pretty cool guy overall, but not a guy whose bad side I wanted to find myself on) dropped hints that maybe I should seek female companionship elsewhere, I foolishly thought it was an overprotective thing. I now realize that he was warning me “This is my nightmare, kid. Get out while you can!” Lesson learned.

Had another ex-girlfriend who went on and on about how exclusive we were, but turned out to just be using me to make some other asshole jealous. She’d been knocking her headboard into the wall with that guy for a week before she gave me the “Let’s be friends” crap, pretty much as an afterthought. Then she got all self-righteous when I wasn’t cool with that. Fucking bitch. More lessons learned. At least I got laid semi-consistently while that lasted.

Had another ex-girlfriend who convinced me to pay her goddamn rent for almost a year, and (to my eternal shame) I never even got so much as a handjob in return. And she was banging multiple other guys (quite possibly in one sitting) the whole time. Yet more lessons learned, though at least this time I finally wised up and told her to piss off.

Makes me appreciate my wife all that much more.

You and me both, the Ex-Monster cheated on me while trying to level guilt trips on yours truly.

Very clever.

I guess boot camp is different these days. My platoon wasn’t even hardly allowed to read newspapers sent from back home. No phone calls home until the last week there, so on and so forth… 45 mins free time once a day. Unless I misunderstood are you telling me recruits have access to fbook while in recruit training??

FuzeVT

No, I think he is at his MOS producing school in the video. My understanding is that boot camp is still boot camp in the cut off from the rest of the world sense.

JacktheJarhead

My buddies son just graduated from San Diego and they were cutoff from everything like we were. He was very excited to get back on social media.

Bim

Long story short – Communication to recruits in Boot is still written only.

Long story, normal – My son went to Parris Island this February and we did not get to talk to him until Mothers day. He could not make his “I arrived, love you” call when he got in because the phone was broken (I told him to get used to that shit), so momma was in quite a panic for MONTHS. They finally green lighted a phone call for him after he went through the Crucible and I had a heart to heart with our new PFC asking him to call his mother at least a once a week for the foreseeable future.

Green Thumb

Glad he found out now as opposed to later.

Commissar

Are you sure he was at but it camp? Cell phones, civilian clothes, non-issued personal items and supplements.

I doubt this is boot camp. Could be. Honestly, I have no clue what boot camp has become in the last two decades. But this seems like a more casual training environment.

Commissar

*boot camp.

Interesting enough, the Marine and his wife’s Facebook pages shows wedding pictures:

Either the video was a fake/joke to get attention (and he got it) or he found himself another “fish” in that sea, because it looks as if he recently got married:

One of life’s hardest lessons to learn is that relationships are not at all what they think we are when we’re young.

In this day and age when I’m asked I tell the young men I know there is zero benefit to getting married early and there is often only a huge penalty for that decision. Marriage offers no benefit to most young men, especially if they are military or LEO with schedules that keep them from home at irregular hours.

Absence often does not make the heart grow fonder, it simply makes the relationship dissolve into the ether. I’ve seen it go both ways, the guy is away and cheats while he’s away or the woman cheats while the guy is off on deployment/night hours.

It’s also unreasonable to think that while you’re deciding to enter the military the person who is your boyfriend/girlfriend was not planning on that kind of relationship arrangement. Expecting them to wait for you if you didn’t involve them in that decision making process isn’t realistic.

At least there were no kids or real property to divvy up. Learn the lesson and move forward.
