Happiness Is a Ballistic Missile Downrange

| September 10, 2019

North Korea has fired off two missiles as discussions between DTrump and ND:tBF end for now.

https://www.militarytimes.com/news/pentagon-congress/2019/09/09/north-korea-says-its-willing-to-resume-nuke-talks-with-us/

From the article:  U.S. President Donald Trump called North Korea’s announcement “interesting.”

“We’ll see what happens,” Trump said. “In the meantime, we have our hostages back, we’re getting the remains of our great heroes back and we’ve had no nuclear testing for a long time.”

In recent months, North Korea has carried out a slew of missile and rocket tests to protest joint military drills between the U.S. and South Korea that North Korea views as an invasion rehearsal. Some experts said the North Korean weapons tests were also a demonstration of its expanding weapons arsenal aimed at boosting its leverage ahead of new talks with the United States.

Most of the North Korean weapons tested in July and August have been short range. This suggests that North Korea hasn’t wanted to lift its self-imposed moratorium on nuclear and long-range missile tests, which would certainly derail negotiations with Washington.  – article

Basically, the Guy With a God Complex Since Birth isn’t getting to have his way, so he’s doing whatever he can to spook both the USA and his neighbors to the South. And Pres. Trump has said he has never asked Fatty Kim da T’ird to end short-range missile tests

. Unfortunately for ND:tBF’s  plans, the South Korean military is quite up to snuff. While some of the coastal islands are erroneously claimed by Norkiland, the South is not amused by Nork antics. And they know that we have their backs.

Fat E. Kimoyte best hope that the US keeps the leash on the ROK Forces. The Acme Rocket company will have a hard time supplying the needs of Fat E. Kimoyte AND Wile E. Coyote. Fat E. must realize he cannot win a war with the ROK, and is doing what he does just as an attention getting scheme. Seoul and the immediate area from the DMZ would take a serious hit on a FIRST Strike assault, but the Norks would stop at the FIRST food supply dump they overran so as to draw rations. The biggest variable would be how the Chinks would react. This is just my opinion. Our compatriots that have been stationed in Korea may have way yonder more up to date info for us.

Yup, the Norks recently got the production line for SS-26 Son-o’-SCUD running nicely so they’ve got plenty to shoot off… that’s about it.

I wonder if the Chinese aren’t sick and tired of tubby ‘lil Kim-Cheese?

These missile launches into The Sea Of Japan are just defensive moves on the part of North Korea to keep them safe from the ravages of Godzilla. He has seen that Japan has failed to contain this threat for over 60 years, and it is just a matter of time that Godzilla will grow tired of sushi and Kirin Beer, and may want some bulgogi with an OB.

When they recite the Pledge Of Allegiance in Japan, they say “One nation, under Godzilla…”

Full disclosure, that line was stolen from a copy of National Lampoon Magazine, probably extremely early 1990’s. If you happen to come across this book, it is an interesting read about the rise and demise of National Lampoon.

O.C. & Stiggs How We Spent Our Summer Vacation was the funnies thing Hack ever read in that magazine. There was an O.C. & Stiggs film made, but it never got a theatrical release. Found a copy in one of the less reputable video stores (remember video stores?) and gave it a shot. Not as good as the article, but still amusing.

“That isn’t all that’s gone missing”

Yeah, but you can still make some real things at home./s Here’s a short recipe: (You get only one guess as to what it makes)

12 oz Club Soda (fresh to insure fizziness)
2 teaspoons Cherry flavored syrup, such as Toroni
2 teaspoons lemon juice (fresh or reconstituted)
Maraschino Cherry (Optional)

Good Times!!

Oops, should be Torani, not Toroni./ Mea Culpa.

Oh, and don’t forget. One tall glass with lots of crushed ice./s

WAR STORY ALERT!! Maybe the Norks should get the Oklahoma Guard to assist with their rocket program. It may have been for the lead up to Desert Storm or something after but the OKANG brought their MLRS systems to our range at Dugway Proving Ground. Residents were permitted to watch the firing so given another boring Dugway weekend, why not. The OKANG fired at a mountain several miles downrange and high fived every time they hit the mountain. Not a target but the friggin mountain like it was an accomplishment for their rockets to reach that far. Our daughter recognized their patch in TV footage of some conflict or another where the unit was firing MLRS hopefully at a target.
