Bullet shatters CPD station window after concealed carry holder shoots back in West Side dispute
The shooting happened near the Austin 15th District police station Friday.

No one was hurt Friday after a bullet pierced a window of a police station in the Austin neighborhood when multiple people in a dispute fired shots at each other.Two males were in custody after their group of four argued with a concealed carry license holder and one of them fired shots, CPD spokesman Anthony Guglielmi said.
The concealed carry holder took out their own gun and returned fire, he said.

Man with gun scares off would-be kidnapper near the Galleria: witness

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — Quick action by strangers saved a woman who was attacked while she was walking her dog in southwest Houston, according to witnesses.Lily Paxson was near Richmond and Chimney Rock before 1 p.m. on Thursday when she noticed a man approach the young woman on the sidewalk from behind.
She said at first it seemed like he was trying to pet the dog, but then he grabbed her.
“Her body language seemed that all she wanted to do was get away from him,” Paxson recalled. “She was fighting him off of her, then he started hitting her and kicking the dog, grabbing her and lifting her up.”
She said things got “violent and aggressive” quickly.
In a state of disbelief, Paxson said she rolled down her windows, started screaming and honking her horn.
Shortly after, three men got out of their cars and intervened.
“Some had guns, and at that point in time, it really became a cross between the Wild West and Gotham City,” Paxson recalled.

Officials ID man killed in Phoenix strip club parking lot; shooter detained, police say

A man killed in a shooting at a Phoenix strip club early Saturday morning was identified as 23-year-old Kirk Anthony Kariker, police said.The shooting happened at Jaguars strip club near Interstate 17 and McDowell Road just before 3 a.m., Phoenix police spokesman Detective Luis Samudio said.
Kariker was involved in a fight inside the club and was escorted out, Samudio said.
While in the parking lot, Kariker retrieved a gun from his vehicle and pointed it at several people in the parking lot, police said. A 22-year-old man also retrieved a gun and fired multiple rounds, striking Kariker, police said.

I used to have my dog in the back seat and when
someone would approach me he would stick his

When Bandit was still with us, she always sat in the front seat on the “mom” side of the car. If someone came up to my car, she’d walk right over me and stick her head out my window, mostly because she wanted a pat on the head. Shepherds are the silliest dogs on the planet, and she was one of them, but people never bothered me when she and I were out on walkies.
A good dog, aka, fur missile, canine cannon, four legged foo gas. If the pupster bit the dirtbag, prolly had to lick his a$$ to get the taste out of his mouth.
