Large ICE Raid Arrest 680 in Food Processing Plants

| August 8, 2019

Cartoon by Rick McKee.

When President Trump announced pending ICE raids, we saw people’s true colors come out. Leaders, from a specific political party, took action designed to help illegal aliens. They provided tips to illegals in case they faced a search. Many expressed solidarity with the illegals. Even some Democrats left a link, to information beneficial to illegal aliens, on their website.

Then the day arrived when the raids were due to start. Leftist elites laughed as they watched the places ICE operated from. Many reported no activity. Others reported minimal activity and lower than expected results. Time passed and this was forgotten in favor of other news. Then “wham” the largest ICE raid in a decade hits.

From KTLA 5:

Workers filled three buses — two for men and one for women — at a Koch Foods Inc. plant in tiny Morton, 40 miles (64 kilometers) east of Jackson. They were taken to a military hangar to be processed for immigration violations. About 70 family, friends and residents waved goodbye and shouted, “Let them go! Let them go!” Later, two more buses arrived.

Nope, no warnings there. Agents fanned out across the state, positioned some to capture those that tried to run, then made their move. They already had processing centers set up and they had things ready to roll once they had these illegals in their hands.

More could be read at KTLA 5.

Chicken chokers.
Knew a woman that worked in a processing plant.
Her job was to take the two chickens out of the
crate as they came off the truck on a conveyer
through a wall opening. With one in each hand she
would wring their necks and plop them down on the
conveyor where the next person would gut them for
the next person….

Coastal Maine once had more broiler houses and
processing plants than the fishing industry.
It all went to hell in the early seventies.

680 down, 19,999,320 to go. Sadly, prolly had 1,360 sneak thru the border while the raid was ongoing. #s based on estimate of illegals in country (20 million) and a statement that for every one they deport twice as many sneak thru.

And Oh, the wailing and gnashing of teeth over this on the morning news talking heads. Last time I checked aiding and abetting was still against the law. And how many had false E Verify documents? Rampant problem in the chicken processing industry. Northeast GA, which has multitudes of grow houses, is overrun with illegals.

A Proud Infidel®™️

The carpet mills in Dalton GA are loaded with them as well.

How about we also arrest some chicken plant operators too. It will send a message to the rest of these crooks and maybe they will clean up their act.

Lima Ohio Rudolph Foods….German Cattle Operation near Alger Ohio….Buckeye Egg farm Larue, Ohio full of illegals….made a tip nothing happened

It’s funny. In ‘1984’, Orwell introduced the term ‘Doublespeak’ to indicate the changing of words or phrases to distort, soften, or reverse the actual meaning.

Example:
‘Illegal Alien’ became ‘Illegal Immigrant’, which was changed to ‘Undocumented Immigrant’, and further now changed to ‘Undocumented Migrant’ today (saw it on CNN yesterday). What will they call them tomorrow? -just saying “Democrats” is cheating-

I don’t know why I brought this up, it just pisses me off when people trip over themselves not to offend those that are committing federal crimes just so they can feel superior to a president they don’t like.

The progs all use their “Newspeak” dictionary, which is always being rewritten to suit their ideology.

Now if they would just prosecute the people responsible for hiring these illegal workers and sentence them to some heavy jail time you might see an actual change in this practice.

We have to have an I-9 on all of our 120 employees…I don’t understand how these operations don’t have these documents, or are they falsifying 100s of I-9s? If they are that seems a rather serious crime as well.

I can understand how one or two illegals with stolen identities might slip under the radar. Small businesses aren’t equipped with the staff to ascertain a quality fake document’s reliability. But 680 people?

How does that happen without everyone in senior management not being part of the problem?

Perp walk the owner(s), the general manager, CFO, and head of HR on national TV into custody and publicize their trials and convictions and other rich folks will be a bit more hesitant to try this shit.

J.R. Johnson

VOV according to USCIS “You are required to complete and retain a Form I-9 for every employee you hire for employment in the United States, except for: … Independent contractors or individuals providing labor to you if they are employed by a contractor providing contract services (for example, employee leasing or temporary agencies).” So maybe they call them independent contractors?

Veritas Omnia Vincit

I’m sure that’s how they get around it, but that means they are complicit and should be prosecuted for aiding illegals to stay in the nation.

Grunt

I’m sure that C-5 sized loophole deliberately written into the law making enforcement next to impossible was a mere oversight….

Many businesses have bogus I-9’s because the illegal alien has a phony driver’s license and a phony Social Security card. Anyway, that is what I saw this with regard to a contractor working with a state agency over 15 years ago. I deposed several employees who testified their fake documents were purchased in San Diego within a day or two after illegally crossing the border.

Berliner

Saw in the news yesterday one business hit by ICE in two locations claimed they use E-Verify to vet their employees. Obviously, no fraud being committed./s

In 2015, 6.5 million social security numbers were stolen by hackers. On the dark web a social security number goes for $1.00.

The landscaper that put in my sprinklers had to go out of business because he couldn’t compete with competitors that hired illegals.

Berliner

This is from 2016:
“House Republicans at a hearing Tuesday grilled Internal Revenue Service (IRS) Commissioner John Koskinen about the agency’s handling of illegal immigrants’ tax returns.

“What I find absolutely outrageous is your suggestion that when it comes to illegal immigrants, the IRS couldn’t really be bothered when it comes to these folks stealing Americans’ Social Security numbers,” said Rep. Sam Johnson (R-Texas). “And I think that’s wrong, and it ought to stop now.”

The issue involves cases in which illegal immigrants used others’ Social Security numbers (SSNs) to get jobs and then filed their taxes using their IRS-issued individual taxpayer identification numbers (ITINs). The IRS does not go after undocumented workers who engage in this practice, and it doesn’t inform those whose SSNs were fraudulently used.”

Where do you get your chicken from? Should you join the perp walk you describe if you bought their product?

“It’s No Fun Being An Illegal Alien”

My..My…My…How times have changed since 1983/1984…Enjoy the Lyrics and the Video!

“Got out of bed, wasn’t feeling too good

With my wallet and my passport, a new pair of shoes

The sun is shining so I head for the park,

With a bottle of Tequila, and a new pack of cigarettes

I got a cousin and she got a friend,

Who thought that her aunt knew a man who could help

At his apartment I knocked on the door,

He wouldn’t come out until he got paid.

Now don’t tell anybody what I wanna do

If they find out you know that they’ll never let me through.

It’s no fun being an illegal alien

It’s no fun being an illegal alien

Down at the office had to fill out the forms

A pink one, a red one, the colours you choose,

Up to the counter to see what they think

They said ‘It doesn’t count man, it ain’t written in ink’.

Don’t trust anybody least not around here, cause

It’s not fun being an illegal alien,

Consideration for your fellow man

Wouldn’t hurt anybody, sure fits in with my plan

Over the border, there lies the promised land

So don’t tell anybody what I wanna do

If they find out you know that they’ll never let me through.”

Fjardeson

Song still makes me laugh.
“A bottle of tequila and a new pack of cigarettes”
Ha ha.

Words fail me. 680 wetbacks don’t come under ‘we just didn’t know’ heading.

Perp walk all those as suggested above, but go after a few big companies under RICO, with asset forfeiture. Watch how fast the rest decide it’s just not worth it. The latest scam in the fake documents racket is to use legit identifications/SSANs from residents of Puerto Rico on the documents, making it more difficult to detect the frauds. The RMV here in the PDRofMA has declined to participate in training which would enable them to detect the fakes, the same training should be mandatory for anyone in any government human service agency; the use of E-Verify should also be mandated as a condition of doing business nationwide. Don’t use it and get caught an illegal on the payroll? Go to jail and lose all your assets.

Agree 100%

Jeff LPH 3, 63-66

I was going to add a pun on this one but this stuff that is going on is real serious.

C’mon Jeff, don’t chicken out on us…

Man, you just laid an egg…

As long as we have a nanny state obligated to provide Social Security, Healthcare, food stamps, unemployment compensation, etc. we will have illegal immigrants. The fact is, the nanny state requires them. Both Dems and Repubs know and understand this. The rest is kabuki theater.

A national fertility rate way below 2.1 has implications…a competition among nations for immigrants is one of them. Particularly when fertility rates in traditional “immigrant donor” countries is crashing.

Math doesn’t lie.

Club Manager

What our government is doing while legally justified is flat out wrong. These working men and women are not hurting anything and filling needed jobs those who list their occupation as “mail money” refuse to do. Round up and deport those illegals with criminal records, then seal the damn border before they start rounding up families. I am a conservative Republican Trump supporter.

Fyrfighter

Club Manager,

While I agree that there are other groups of illegals that need to be targeted first, to say these people are not hurting anyone is making a leap without knowing all the facts. Do any of them have stolen social security numbers? if so, that’s definitely hurting someone. Just because they’re working does not mean that haven’t committed more criminal offenses (beyond illegally entering the country). While this is low hanging fruit, we have to start somewhere. The county where these arrests took place has one of the highest unemployment rates in the country. Would that change if all these jobs weren’t taken by illegals? The truth is, we don’t know, but it damn sure wouldn’t make the problem worse…

Club Manager

Do you really think an employer would hire an illegal if local workers were available? We have chicken plants in Pine Bluff and lots of available labor but too good to work in those plants but not too good to stay home and make babies and draw unemployment. My family waited their turn then entered through Ellis Island, actually my father’s side had to come incrementally. All should come legally but I have become very sympathetic to the plight of these people only wanting a better life and now we fuck over them because of our inability to close the border. I hate media-staged events. As far as a fake social security number, who really gives a shit and if it is stolen, at least the money is going into the system.

11B-Mailclerk

Illegal aliens displace -Legal- immigrants. They also displace others who might seek the jobs. They also depress the wages that would otherwise have to be offered to get folks to seek jobs.

Yes, illegals do have an impact on everyone who plays by the rules when they refuse to play by the rules that everyone else has to obey.

GDContractor

The situation we are in right now regarding illegal & legal immigration is entirely due to the same idiots we expect to solve it. Namely, Congress.

The same is true for Healthcare and probably every other “crisis” issue we face.

11B-Mailclerk

If legislators actually -solved- problems,

What would they subsequently do?

Herbert J Messkit

I used to support a path to citizenship for some who were brought as kids and have assimilated, stayed out of trouble etc. Now with groups marching under foreign flags, tearing down the American flag, attacking a border agents as nazis, and protecting vicious criminals with sanctuary cities, I don’t care. Round them up

Fyrfighter

They have worked hard (with lots of support from the demonrats) to destroy any good will there might have been for them, haven’t they?

Poetrooper

Anyone else notice that reference to Koch Industries? As in two billionaire brothers who recently abandoned their support of Donald Trump because of his crackdown on illegals and switched sides to the Democrats, simultaneously promising to support the Dem candidate in the 2020 presidential election? That Koch Industries???

Nah, couldn’t be those two high-principled individuals could it?

Kick ’em in the cojones, Donald…
