Would-be robber shot and killed in north Harris County
Deputies believe a second suspect may have also been involved in the attempted robber.

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas — A man accused of trying to rob another man was shot and killed by his intended victim, Harris County Sheriff’s Deputies said early Tuesday.

The shootout happened in the 22800 block of Trevor Way, just south of Spring. Deputies responded to the scene shortly before 1 a.m.

Deputies believe two men tried to rob the victim as he got out of his vehicle. The suspects and victim exchanged gunfire.

When deputies arrived they found one of the alleged robbers with a gunshot wound. CPR began immediately, and he was rushed to the hospital where he was declared dead. The second suspect remains on the run at this time.

1 dead, 1 injured in Radcliff burglary
Police said both men were shot after they forced entry into the home and started a fight.

RADCLIFF, Ky. (WAVE) – One person was shot and killed and another person was injured when police said they burglarized a home in Radcliff.

Kobie Long, 20, of Radcliff, died after he was shot in the 1100 block of North Wilson Road around 3:30 a.m. Sunday, Hardin County coroner Dr. Lee said.

Radcliff Police Department chief Jeff Cross said Long and another man were shot after they forced entry into the home and started a fight.

Cross said everyone involved in the shooting knew each other and that there may have been some type of run-in at a party earlier that night.

Store owner, robbery suspect wounded in South Philly shooting

A store owner and a robbery suspect were shot and critically wounded during a struggle inside a corner store Monday afternoon in South Philadelphia, police said.

The attempted robbery of Felix Supermarket, 1638 S. 23rd St., happened about 3:10 p.m. The store owner, a 48-year-old man, was shot once in the left chest was taken by police to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center.

The suspect, a 27-year-old man, also was shot in the chest. He was taken by private vehicle to Methodist Hospital and was expected to be transferred to Thomas Jefferson University Hospital.

The Okie 3 was in the Philly Yards dry dock back in 1965-1966 for I think what they called a re fit and had Panama “PadEyes” welded on for her 1967 trip through the Panama Canal and future home port of San Diego. I left her in Nov. of 1966 from Norfolk NOB.
