And This Just In

US Navy ship with a Laser

Good morning. While you’re consuming your cold scrambled powdered eggs and tepid black & bitter coffee with stale toast, the CO would like to bring you up to date on what is going on in the world.

The United States is withdrawing its ground forces from Libya, due to security conditions on the ground.

Unpredictability seems to be the driving force behind this withdrawal. This may be a sign of something else, so stay tuned.

In addition, the Trump administration is planning to term the Revolutionary Guard Corp a “foreign terrorist organization”, per and AP report this morning.

Enjoy your day and keep a weather eye on the news.

I heard a story that says Iran will label the Trump Administration an International Terrorist organization if they label the Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) a terrorist organization. I wonder what other countries will agree to it for it to be accepted as true? Russia, China? DPRK? Venezuela? Mexico?

Mexico, the Rocketones on Melba 1957.

We still have ground forces in Libya? Why?

Here is a novel idea. Let’s bring ALL our boys and girls back home. Beef up the Naval Forces so we can show the flag and bring the pain if needed. And while we’re at it, bring our manufacturing and technology back home too.

To follow up some of the comments in the other thread, these countries that have been so against US intervention, wait till the Chinese or the Russians get entrenched. Both have had their eye on world domination for a long, long, long time. The Chi-Coms have dug in at Panama (the canal), hard inroads in Africa and are looking to beat out the Russians in South America.

All our elected officials are concerned with is their own re-election. Almost 50% of our citizens are only concerned with how much more “free sh*t they can get. Y’all see where Cory Booker is wanting to give every person $2K a year from birth till 18 out of taxpayer funds.

That’s what happens when you hang around the barracks and don’t look busy. Someone will find you something to do, no matter how useless. Experienced troops know better; never hang around the barracks and always have something in your hands.

Powdered eggs, stale toast, bitter coffee, and an EMHO checking out those pics of our Navy’s warships!

Ahhh!

(Okay, I’m easily satisfied!)

Mmmmmh. Gray eggs! That’s why God invented Tabasco sauce. The chewy, high-fiber coffee I actually do miss.

I am honestly beginning to support non-interventionism. Don’t get involved unless it is absolutely necessary. If it’s something like 9/11, Pearl Harbor, or something that could effect us then get involved, if not, then no getting involved, like what’s going on in Venezuela.

If, on rare and extreme occasion, we do decide to get involved, leave our enemies begging Heaven that we never -ever- decide to come back.
