Rest in Peace, Brothers.
Fair Winds and Following Seas to you all.
I can only imagine the anguish that not only their NOK is going through right now. But, also the Maintenance Department of the Squadron that aircraft was in. Especially the Airframers, Powerplant Mechs, Electricians, and especially the Plane Captains that launched the aircraft that day.
RIP my brothers.
RIP
Rest in peace, brothers.
I can’t imagine what your families must be going through. I’ve been in several units where people have been lost (most recently the 1st Marine Air Wing when that UH-1 went down in Nepal. It’s hard enough for a unit to have to bury its own – but that would be nothing compared to the family. I wish them peace in this trying time.
Someone left off the name of SGT Julian Kevianne, of Detroit, Mi. He was from the aerial refueling squadron.
Thanks. List updated.
Add: Rest in Peace.
While I was grieving for these families, trying to ask that He comfort those left behind, He reminded me of something I read many years ago. It’s called “Footprints in the Sand.”
When asked why there were suddenly only one set of footprints in the wet sand, He replied, ” This was when you were so broken by grief that you were unable to even stand, let alone walk with Me. It was then that I carried you.”
In all of my Father’s House, there is none as Faithful as the Lover of our souls. In a time, place, and manner of His choosing, He will carry those left behind … because we asked, and He is Faithful.
Amen, OldSoldier, Amen.
Amen!
R.I.P. Warriors, you were taken to Valhalla before your time.
This is too sad. Too many lost, too young.
Rest in peace.
Rest in peace. God be with and comfort your loved ones now.
RIP, shipmates.
Live life to the fullest. Things like this can happen at any time.
Rest in Peace, Warriors…
Rest in Peace.
Shipmates
You volunteered, you trained you served heroically without asking for special treatment. You are all angels..we were blessed to have you. Look down on us and our national sorrow as you left.

Shit. I was at Recon with the Doc.
Peace to the families.
I saw photos of these men on line and they were all young men in their 20s; cream of the crop. I keep hearing stories about how bad the younger generation is and how todays military has gone soft; reading the biographies of these warriors sure dispells that myth.
RIP brothers.
I have the privilege of training these types of men at a Joint Command on Bragg. They are patriots and definitely not soft.
HM2 Lohrey was one of my students. Good man, enthusiastic and dedicated to his Marines.
I was wondering if there was a connection- not surprised at all.
“…his Marines.” Gotta love that.
Rest In Peace BRAVE sons, husbands, fathers….we honor you and are deeply saddened by your untimely sacrifice. May your families know some solace in that.
Bless all those brothers in arms who have given all.
