Campbell soldiers arrested for impersonating police

| February 24, 2016

William Jones

Tony180a sends us a link from Clarksville, Tennessee, about two Fort Campbell privates who were driving around in the four door white car with flashing lights, badges and radios. They were pulling over drivers and asking for cash and drugs, because that’s how privates spend their off-time these days. Unfortunately for them, they pulled over two off-duty cops who provided on-duty cops with expert descriptions that led to their arrests.

Police say, Brett Jewell and William Jones confessed to impersonating police Tuesday.

Both men were arrested and have been charged with criminal impersonation.

Jewell and Jones were booked into Montgomery County Jail.

[…]

The victims, which includes two Montgomery County Sheriff’s deputies, were “pulled over” by two men in a white 4-door car with red and blue light on the dashboard in the areas of Crossland Ave, Glen St, and Madison St., according to the Clarksville Police Department. The men approached motorists for varied reasons and are said to have made requests for money and drugs.

Well, here we have aspiring rap artist 1-DMF and his partner, 2-DMF.

Sheesh. “Dumbass” doesn’t even begin to describe these morons.

LocoLupus

I fear for the military’s future

Ex-PH2

Does no one ask for ID from fake police any more?

Eden

I think that, rightly or wrongly, people are afraid to say anything after all of the media hype about police brutality

Ex-PH2

In some states (maybe all) the police are required to show their ID if they are not in uniform. If in uniform, it should be in plain sight. That eliminates the problem.

jonp

Yeah, they normally wear them around their necks or on their belts and I’ve asked a few times and they were always happy to show the ID with the badge.

ChipNASA

I fell that soon these Privates privates aren’t going to be so private.
😀 😀

They’re going to be receiving ongoing colo-rectal straightening therapy from Drs Bubba, Thor, Tiny, and Julio.
I can see, in the near future, when they fart, they won’t squeak, they’ll “whoosh”.

HMCS(FMF) ret.

They’ll be cockmeat and tube steak connoisseurs very, very soon…

A Proud Infidel®™

I’m sure they’ll get a nice big helping of UCMJ action as well, at least a Field Grade Article 15 with max punishment before being handed over to civil authorities to be the property of Bubba & Thor!

Hondo

Dunno about that, API. Their command may just let the civilian justice system process them, and after they’re convicted process them for a Chapter discharge – either 13 or 14 would work, but 14 might be less of an issue (single act of serious misconduct). Both can result in an OTH discharge, albeit only after convening a board.

A Proud Infidel®™

Yeah, that too. Either way they’ve flushed their careers down the shitpipe with their shitbaggery!

Hack Stone

I worked in a command where two Marines were arrested in the same week for some seriously fucked up shit. One was kiddie porn, the other one was so fucked up, I will not mention it here, but use your imagination. I don’t think that either one was release on bond, so while they were residing in the local county lockup, the Marine Corps cut them loose. These two idiots had TS/SCI clearances, and an MOS with a high probability of picking up Sergeant in four years. The only bright side is that the local newspapers did not mention that they were active duty.

Instinct

And once the civilian world is done with their stupid asses the military gets to serve them another helping of “You’re fucked”

AskaMarine

Birds of a feather flock together. They should hire FV to be their lawyer.

Veritas Omnia Vincit

Well, well, well….

Here’s hoping these two fucksticks get to spend a good long time contemplating just how fucking useless they really are and come to an appropriate conclusion.

QM1

Well at least all the budget cuts to defense are giving us nothing but the cream of the crop in our recruiting efforts, now….

(whoops)

O-4E

Guys like this are what make being a Platoon Leader and Company Commander such a goddamn joy!

A Proud Infidel®™

I’m sure that stunt made their Squad Leader(s) life a real joy as well.

Tony180a

I hope no good Jr Officer or NCO is affected by these 2 idiots. But in these days of zero defect mentality there probably will be collateral damage.

MSG Eric

I’m sure their squad leader will have his ass chewed for not keeping them actively engaged enough to prevent this kind of thing from occurring.

A Proud Infidel®™

CHaracters like them are always the reason for say, 0300 recall formations on the weekends.

Bobo

BCDs for everyone!

B Woodman

Oprah, calm down.
Sit. Have a cup of tea.

MSG Eric

Eat a box of Snickers Oprah, you get grumpy when you’re hungry.

Dustoff

I remember my off duty time as a private in the Big Red One in the late 70s was plotting with my buddies where to find the cheapest beer…. how times have changed.

2/17 Air Cav

The cheapest beer in the early 70s–and the younger set will probably shit over this–was available in the barracks day room at .25 per 12 oz. can.

2/17 Air Cav

I should add that it wasn’t the Big Red One but my little corner of Fort Campbell that beer was .25/can.

Tony180a

We had a beer machine right next to the coke machine at Ft Bragg. If memory serves me a can of bud was .35

Now a chain of command would get relieved if an underage soldier drank a beer at the unit organization day picnic.

DUMBASSES!! It’s obvious that both of them managed to hit every tree when they were catapulted through the Forest of Stupidity and they landed on their heads when they fell out of the Maple Tree for Retards! Impersonating LEOs and expecting not to get caught? That’s like letting your airplane run out of fuel and then suing its manufacturer.

Tony180a

Can you imagine that blotter report coming across the Old Man and the CSM’s desk!! LEOs and the military in this area have a pretty good relationship and I know of multiple instances of both the Clarksville Police and the Montgomery County Sheriffs Department going the extra mile for soldiers and their families. Around the 2004-2006 time frame the Mayor of Coopertown, Tn set up an illegal speed trap targeting soldiers and minorities traveling on I24. Now this town population just north of 4,000 is 16 miles from I-24. Majority of soldiers in this area were deployed at the time so it was dependents bearing the brunt of this Bullshit. This increased Coopertown revenue from approximately $12,000 to $400,000 – $800,000 annually. Officially it was the State Attorney Generals office that had this Shitbag Mayor removed from office. Unofficially the Clarksville Police and Montgomery County Sheriffs Deputies let it be known to the Coopertown police in no uncertain terms that they especially would not tolerate targeting any military personnel or their dependents. I can neither confirm or deny but there is an A1 source who said a few Coopertown police got an Attitude Adjustment courtesy of Clarksville and Montgomery County LEOs at a local LEO watering hole.

We don’t need shitbirds like these two doing anything to tarnish the good relationship between the military and the local LEOs.

This is a link to the Coopertown fiasco.

Something similar happened on Fort Benning in the mid nineties when it was discovered that the Cusseta GA PD was setting up speed traps on post outside their jurisdiction, they’d been caught doing so by FB MPs as well. The result was an order by the GA Attoney General’s office forbidding them from using radar for eighteen months.

OWB

Here’s hoping the book, actually several books, get thrown at these two thugs.

Virtual Insanity

A Rendezvous with Derpity.

2/17 Air Cav

Nice one. For those who have never graced Fort Campbell with your presence, the motto of the 101st is Rendezvous with Destiny.

Claw

Here’s hoping that the Dumb and Dumber twins are assigned to one of the Garrison/Tenant units and not the 101.

I’ve tried to research if they have announced their outfit(s) yet, but so far no dice.

2/17 Air Cav

I’d like to know how either one of these knuckleheads made it to this point. You don’t just wake up one day a druggie and ask around the barracks to see who is interested in posing as a cop with you and ripping people off.

L. Taylor

So damn stupid it is shocking. But morons doing stupid things is not a recent problem for the military. So, I am not sure the “because that’s how privates spend their off-time these days” comment is warranted.

There were stupid privates doing stupid things when you all served as well.

A Proud Infidel®™

EVERY Military Unit has its “That Guy” or guys, you have the ones that can’t even take a whiz without setting off an alarm, the “Joes” that are flat broke three days after payday,… It’s just that THIS brilliant deed of theirs has its own degree of Weapons Grade STUPID.

Claw

Or they could be the two smartest Privates in the world.

They did the fake cop routine knowing they were going to get caught and wanted to get out of the 101st Division Run that kicks off tomorrow morning at 0630 hours in front of Division Headquarters.

Yep, it’s a thinker./sarc

Jarhead

My nomination for the “Most Misunderstood Comment of the Year” would have to be….either Thor or Bubba saying, “I’ll take care of these two assholes when they arrive at our K Y Jelly Castle!”
