Sunday morning feel good story

| October 26, 2014

This morning’s feel good story comes from California;

The sheriff’s department was called out to the 1300 block of Glenwood Road at 3:40 a.m. Friday to a report of multiple shots fired.

When they arrived, investigators said they found a man laying in the front yard with multiple wounds.

The homeowner told investigators the man was trying to break in to his home when he confronted the suspect.

The homeowner said he wrestled the gun from the suspect and shot him.

The man was taken to UC Davis Medical Center, where he was in serious but stable condition.

But I thought criminals had magical Nina powers with guns. What do you mean law-abiding people can take guns away from them?

I got into a LOT of trouble on a gaming web site when I said I owned a gun, and was taught to go for centre mass first followed by a head shot if the Stupid Person doesn’t drop.

My gun is quite small (it’s a Glock 19) but it makes me feels safe and I know how to use it.

EVERYONE who cares about their safety should own a gun. Why wouldn’t you?

I’m very glad that the home owner was able to take the gun away from the bad guy.

Richard

Why did you get into trouble? What did the people on the gaming web site want you to do?

Miffy

Hi Richard

The person who replied to me said that he was a sniper and that it was stupid of me to say I could strip and re-assemble my 9mm pistol in 8 seconds and that it was a waste of time to do that. I tried to reply saying that it taught me to not be scared of my gun but he then said he didn’t think I owned a gun and my 6 shot groupings of 5 centimeters meant nothing.

So I left the stupid site cos Father Dave said that you can fix almost anything but you can’t fix stupid.

Good wrestling and pretty good shooting there homeowner. I’m glad he’s okay.
