Sunday morning feel good stories

| October 19, 2014

Our first feel good story comes from Texas;

The owner told police he heard something, went to investigate, saw a man in his SUV and then fired shots. He said he did not know if he hit the man.

Not long after, a man covered in blood began knocking on doors of homes a few blocks away.

He was treated for gunshot wounds in the leg and foot and then arrested.

The next story comes from North Carolina;

They tell News 13 when the homeowner warned Hicks to leave he refused. The homeowner’s daughter says her father fired several warning shots before shooting Hicks in the right knee.

“He’s very upset about it. He didn’t want to do anything to harm him but he was trying to keep himself safe and I mean you got to do what you got to do,” Angila Carroll said.

Deputies found Hicks hours later at a hospital in Tennessee.

“He said he did not know if he hit the man.”

“Not long after, a man covered in blood began knocking on doors of homes a few blocks away.”

I’d say that’s a big fat yes.

Twist

Why warning shots? Fire center mass unit he is no longer a threat.

Twist……you’re exactly right.

Here’s a great video showing some real justice:

“her father fired several warning shots before shooting Hicks in the right knee.” let’s do down the checklist.

Wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong and then here again, you were wrong! You failed Mr. Homeowner.

The first two shots better be center mass. They are the warning for any second intruder lurking outside. If ventilated first intruder even wobbles instead of dropping like a sack of shit, then it’s one in his melon.

When it’s me and my family, I offer the same mercy as the guy is, who just kicked in my door, broke and climbed through my window or jimmied his way in otherwise. Yea, cause he’s all about being there on a mission of mercy for me and mine.

That puke will now be released after a few months or maybe a couple of years back onto the street where the level of violence he uses will go up significantly because he knows that the homeowner might have a gun so he has to act fast.

Therefore, no warning shots and two to center mass and one to the head, like they said.

If someone is in your home uninvited, you have the right, the responsibility to protect yourself.

Use a .45, it’s like a 9mm only for grown-ups…

Ah! Homeowner target practice again!

But I’m torn between ‘were they shooting at what they hit?’ and ‘was that just target practice for the next try?’

I don’t know about North Carolina laws, but if there is an intruder in my house, center of mass is the way to go in Texas.
On the other hand, if it’s Homeowner’s first time to fire on another human, it may have been harder for him to do than others might find it.
