Chinese sub successfully sinks

| October 1, 2024

The Chinese, as we know, have been semi-successfully outbuilding the US Navy. Seems like their coastline is littered with giant shipbuilders, and in numbers of ships they are outbuilding the US Navy exponentially.

They have had their share of problems…one of their latest surfaced recently.

Well, actually not.

China’s newest nuclear attack submarine has sunk in a shipyard accident, in a setback to the country’s attempts to overtake the United States in a naval arms race, according to US official.

The newly built vessel, which features a distinctive X-shaped stern, was sighted on satellite images alongside a pier at Wuchang Shipyard as it was being equipped for sea in late May.

It is claimed to have sunk later that month or in early June. Suspicion was said to have been raised when floating cranes were seen at the site soon afterwards.

Undersea warfare has become a Chinese priority in its arms race with the US as tensions rise in the Pacific.

Submarines would probably play a key role in any future conflict over Taiwan, with a Chinese fleet potentially attempting to invade, while blockading the US from arming and supplying the island.

Submarine warfare has traditionally been an area of significant US supremacy, but China’s People’s Liberation Army (PLA) navy has been closing the gap.

I’m getting the impression that they are not closing the gap quite sufficiently?

There was speculation this spring about that odd X-shaped stern…apparently it really means “X marks the spot.”

Courtesy of a diet of Tom Clancy and Larry Bond, I’ve a great grounding in fictional submarine sea trials, and know that ya gotta sink ’em. Then ya gotta bring ’em up, right?

The submarine is thought to have been salvaged from the site, but experts said that it will require a huge refit to make it seaworthy. The Telegraph

The Chinese make most of the electronics in the world, but that doesn’t mean they make them waterproof.

Luckily, through the miracle of modern intelligence gathering, we know PLA Navy Lt. Bu La is responsible for the incident:

“Bu La? Bu La?”

The media was awaiting comment from the PLA Navy Officer Sum Ting Wong.

And for the CCP representative in the US, Tim, to come Walz-ing up to the microphone to spin a suitable explanation.

I heard it went like this; “The Chinese sub sank, but you know what else is sinking? The American middle class. I’m middle class and I can tell you that we can’t afford four more years of what is going on on this country. On day 1 Kamala will implement her plans to save the middle class and that will also save Chinese submarines.”

LOL! Would you like LibTard Blue Cheese dressing with that word salad?

We all know that you have only been hanging around here for decades, but you must have missed the memo that we use “as to” here, in a nod to our intellectually superior and hygienically challenged Vice President of a proud but humble woman owned business.

Yeah, the DeMSM is all breathless over the Chinese navy outbuilding the US Navy. But having more ships doesn’t matter if they don’t float. Then they become anchors and breeding homes for fish.

Like the old joke about the Soviet airliner crashing because it ran out of coal.

Never uilunderestimate your enemy…however…

I follow a couple of Western guys who lived in China for years. Both speak fluent Mandarin and traveled extensively around the country. They now live in the USA because the PRC commies started nipping at their heels and it was just a matter of time before they vanished like many others.

Many of their videos highlight the “booming” economy. They reveal that much of it is a house of cards. Incredibly shoddy construction, complete cities built that have no inhabitants. etc, etc, ad nauseam.

I see what they reveal as a good indicator of the quality of their shipbuilding prowess.

Here’s an example of what I’m talking about from these two gentlemen, serpentza and laowhy86. They’re worth following.

One side note. Yes, the video is from 6 years ago, but they’re still very active and they have plenty of ammo to fire at the corrupt PRC government. They have at least 3 channels on YouTube: The China Show, laowhy86, serpentza. As I said, well worth following.

Not to be outdone the North Korean People’s Navy is developing a submersible battle tank. Their only obstacle is procuring enough baking soda and vinegar.

How many boxtops does it take to get one of those? Accounting for inflation, of course.

As they used to say to the tuna fish: “solly Charrie.”

The reason the sub sank was because onr of the yardbirds forgot to close one of the screen doors.

Its nice to see the Chinese using those crappy tools they make to build ships using inferior metals and knock off parts they sell to the world. If you dont know the details of a product you stole, making it look like the part is only part of the process. Bolts made of lead just don’t seem to have the same qualities as steel. As an example. I wonder if there still using rocket fuel to heat their lunches. lol

Friends don’t let friends use Harbor Freight.

Harbor Freight Knuckle busters. Where are Green, Williams and SK Wayne drop forged hand tools. Craftsmen now sold by Lowes.

STSC(SW/SS)

Just like Mare Island Ship Sinkers Association when they sunk the USS Guitarro dockside while testing ballast tanks.
