UNIONTOWN, Pa. (KDKA) — Police are investigating two separate shootings in Uniontown on Tuesday. The Uniontown Police Department said one man was shot and killed on a sidewalk in front of a home on Dunlap Street at around 2 p.m. on Tuesday. He was identified as 33-year-old Josh Stevens.
Witnesses told Fayette County District Attorney Michael Aubele that Stevens threatened to stab the suspect before the shooting. Aubele told KDKA-TV’s Jennifer Borasso that there was some disagreement before the shooting. Police said they are looking for the shooter, who they said fled the scene.
“This wasn’t a random act of violence,” Aubele said. “This was two people who knew each other.”
“What we understand is that the victim, he attacked the defendant with a knife and apparently the defendant shot him,” he added.
Uniontown police said the man who was killed was staying at the house where he was shot and had gotten into an argument with people who live nearby.

Wrong victim and the person in the wind is a defendant already? Today’s two-fer with shrapnel brought to us by our own Gun Bunny.

Shootings in Uniontown. Where’s the Union reps when you need them to solve a labor/management beef?
(yawn…..) Once more a knife to a gun fight. Getting to be SOOO ordinary. The deceased arguing with the neighbor. Over what? Drug deal gone bad? Dog barking? Lawn too long?
And the shooter decided to follow a variation of The Fourth Ess (Shut Up) and leave the scene without talking to Da Po-po. Let’s hope that he keeps moving and is never ID’d. Or develops a good alibi (nobody saw me. I didn’t do it. You can’t prove nutton’)
“(yawn…..) Once more a knife to a gun fight.” If one must take a knife to a gunfight, then one should make sure the knife comes with a Gurkha attached.
Too old to fight with fisticuffs, too tired to run. And when its time to shoot…shoot…don’t talk. Try to do the polite thing and police up your brass…or use a revolver. No need to leave evidence when you take out the trash.
Anything worth shooting is worth shooting a lot.
They said the shooter lives near by. Just hope they don’t have a liberal Soros backed DA who wants to be somebody.
Given the area, it’s likely he ran because he’s a felon / druggie who shouldn’t have a gun anyway.. kinda like Gaza, not many innocents in that part of town..
A kukri is one of those items I have yet to add to my collection. Sadly.
I have a friend who brought one back from Vietnam. It was in the dudes backpack with a NVA flag, hat and saddles. And pair of the black pajamas. Has it in his war room on the wall. Said he’s going to donate it to a museum someday.
My sister did some travelling to Nepal, and brought me back a pair of them. One shiny and fancy, the other a weapon of war.. As the saying goes, be very afraid of a small man smiling with a big knife..
And now, the feel good story that will truly bring a smile to your face. Ladies and gentlemen, I give you, the latest in Israeli weapons technology:

That is cool!
YES!!!
I want to pull the “trigger” on one of those.
I think it was RAH who said (to the effect, not an exact quote), “There are no obsolete weapons, only obsolete tactics”.
Those would also be great to use to get rid of pesky illegal aliens. Load the illegal into the sling/basket (fireball optional), and FIRE! Guar-an-teed the illegal WILL. NOT. RETURN. To bother you ever again.
You could set these up along the southern border. Cheap and fast transportation. Word would get around pretty quickly, what awaits those who get caught. Illegal Crossings would drop instantly. Especially when they see their friends flying home. Great idea!
Nice khukuri; here’s my chitlange khukuri:
Being the replacement member of a big name music group can suck for numerous reasons, as a dude in the Four Tops’ current lineup found:

I don’t know if this is old news, or new news, but it’s certainly qualifies as good new. According to the video in the link, it was posted about 11 hours ago at the time of my posting.
