Venezuelan President-For-Life Nicolas Maduro

Another foreign policy triumph for Joe.

Biden Administration Allows Chevron To Pump Oil In Venezuela

Brian Bushard

The Biden Administration granted a license to Chevron to resume oil production in Venezuela—easing sanctions imposed on the country in 2019 over corruption and human rights concerns—though a senior U.S. official is claiming it’s not related to the energy crunch caused by the war in Ukraine.

Forbes

Maduro assures the Biden Administration he has agreed with his opposition party to a new humanitarian spending plan focused on education, public health, food security and electricity programs. This also is intended to facilitate negotiations to hold free and fair elections in 2024.

Riiight.

Damn, if only America had natural resources that it could tap into in order to meet the energy and security needs of Americans, thereby not lifting sanctions on an oppressive country crushing their citizens.

You are clearly racist and hate South American people of color.

Roh-Dog

off topic like a m’f’er:

I may have to eat some humble & crow pie. 556NATO (ex-ZSR, Bosnian, Romanian, etc) but including Norma (Sweden National Armory) and even Winchester (Lake City Armory) are getting into the 35.0-36.8 c/round range.

I’m still seeing the ‘real cost’ (w/ S&H, fees, etc) about 37.0+ c/round.

This is nucking futs.

I called never-less-than 33.0 c/per to you, swore up and down. It is nice to be wrong (well, at least here!). So before it happens: I’ll own it.

“free and fair elections in 2024”

Certainly not here. That would be a game changer.

Old tanker

More of America last with that bonehead. He’d rather support the dictatorship and communist country economy than the US.

Read: via our state dept and C*nts In Action, Drag Time Story Hours and Gender Theory will now be taught at schools, hospitals will only treat the ‘woke’, with food and electroons for the social credit scored top-tiers.

Fast forward 5 years, like the USSA, Venezuela’s main exports will be handmade Saint George Floyd talispeople and wars of choice.

Kinda wondering how Hunter and other political Princes are going to get paid off of this.

Graybeard

So, add “Venezuela” to the list of tyrannies that Biden loves.

How much do they pay to the Big Guy?

Judgement Day is gonna be rough on Joe & Co.

Yea, and I got up oily this morning to read what the two Regime Dictators were up to with chevron oil. Oil just wait untill tomoro morning and check out the oily news on the oil situation.

That was pretty crude Jeff.

SFC D

Slick puns. Well above the Standard. You’ve refined your talent.

KoB

Had to drill deep to pump all of that out. Real high octane stuff, yet clean enough for a Quaker State of Pure, not hiding their thoughts in a Shell. Make Mobile and to the City go.

Roh-Dog

Y’all really ran out gas with these puns.

Refill the tank, get cranking in the morning, primed and firing on all cylinders!

Fortunately they have the green petroleum not the polluty kind like we have in America.

NHSparky

Not to be a jerk or a smart-ass, but Venezuelan crude is what is referred to as “sour” crude as opposed to the more desirable, “light-sweet” crude.
The higher sulfur content means cheaper fuel at the well, more suited to fuel oils than sweet, and the refining process is more difficult, resulting in more expensive fuels at the consumer end.

UpNorth

So, we’ll end up paying more? Wonderful. As the signs I saw today on a trip to the credit union said, F.J.B.

NHSparky

We already are. Diesel is 50-60% above gas price, when normally it would be maybe 15%, most of which could be accounted for by the higher taxes on diesel.

Inflation won’t even come close to being brought under control until diesel and natural gas prices are brought down to be in line with current crude prices.

FuzeVT

And what’s more is that how much cleaner is our petroleum extraction process compared to Venezuela (or most other places). There are Frack sites down the street from my house and they are damn clean. I’m guessing it wouldn’t be quite the same down south of the boarder.

“Maduro assures the Biden Administration he has agreed with his opposition party to a new humanitarian spending plan…”

And in 1980, when the Russians crossed the border to invade Afghanistan, after promising President Carter they would not do so; Carter was heard to lament; “I can’t believe they LIED to me!!!”
