Deleted IRS job posting seeks candidates willing to “use deadly force”

| August 12, 2022

Well, if you didn’t think the IRS was weaponized before:

The IRS deleted a job posting Wednesday seeking a Special Agent “willing to use deadly force” for its law enforcement division, Criminal Investigation (CI). The deletion came amid renewed scrutiny of the IRS in response to a Democrat-backed spending bill that would double the size of the agency.

“As a Special Agent you will combine your accounting skills with law

The “Major Duties” listed in the job description included “a level of fitness necessary to effectively respond to life-threatening situations on the job,” and being “willing and able to participate in arrests, execution of search warrants, and other dangerous assignments.”

It also included a requirement of carrying “a firearm and be willing to use deadly force, if necessary.”

National Review via Yahoo

Adding 2+2 to get 4, it sounds like they aren’t just adding 87,000 more people to check tax returns. And there’s a reason they are buying all that ammo.

“Filed late? The team should be kicking your door in, in 3…2…”

Hat tip to the besig for the original post.

It’s not about collecting taxes. It’s about collecting something else. James Wesley Rawles did a nice post about the mathematics of collecting “other things” a few years back. Turns out there wouldn’t be enough feds to do it. And a lot of local cops wouldn’t do the feds dirty work either.

It’s getting close…

Such BS, are times that hard where you have to be a bean counter and a door kicker and be proficient at both?

Anonymous

Never.

The Dems are saying the quite parts out loud, and their lackies/coolies in The Corporate Media say nothing and nod-along in agreement. They want to strike fear in the citizens just like the Gestapo & KGB. Yes, the party that screams about threats to “democracy” desires an authoritarian police state. Voting for Dems is simply UNAMERICAN.

Now you can add an IRS agent to that graphic, carrying a pistol and a sub-machine gun.

Here’s the point when they done fouled up:

[The] They want to strike fear in the citizens…

To some of us, fear elicits a response that one can describe as a deep satisfaction that a party is about to start, where wearing funny hats and use of confetti poppers is highly necessary.

Resistance to tyranny is obedience to God.

Av8or33

They absolutely personal freedoms and want to control every aspect of your life. Nothing good will come of this.

Av8or33

Sorry they absolutely hate personal freedoms

Seems every federal dept. of whatever has it’s own in house
special agents with police powers and armed to the teeth.

Let’s not mix memes. The ATF is the one with the dog sniper team. The IRS is far scarier. They can take all your money and throw you in prison for failing to file your taxes.

Dog snipers?

Not really hard to understand. This is a common listing in the job description for anyone working as a LEO.

Armed IRS agents may be called upon to use deadly force. I don’t know of any time this has ever happened in real life but this young lady stretched out two in the crime free utopia that is Los Angeles a few years back who made the poor life changing decision to try to rob her.

I know at least two agents have been shot and killed in the line of duty.

Capone was finally taken down by a revenue agent for tax evasion.

And right there you hit upon the Democrats’ true motivation for arming all these federal employees. This is a step towards that “civilian national security force” that Obama declared necessary:

“We cannot continue to rely on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives we’ve set. We’ve got to have a civilian national security force that’s just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded.”

The irony abounds: a citizen attempting to rob the IRS… 😜

Redistribution of wealth, comrade! IRS will do it.

To put this more in perspective there are currently 620K local and state police patrol officers in the entire United States excluding SROs/SSOs and Federal Patrol Officers (mostly military bases and facilities). This is a drop from a few years ago when then were about 700K (pre Defund the Police)

These are the state and local police you see every day and try to avoid getting a speeding ticket from. The same guys you call when the neighbors dog is a barking or there someone in your backyard at 0300 or some thug is robbing the Gas and Go.

This increase would create 180K IRS agents or 1 IRS agent for every 3 police patrol officers in the entire United States.

The DOJ (all of it) employs about 117K total employees and LEOs, so the IRS would become larger than all other Federal LEAs combined even if you throw in ICE.

https://www.bls.gov/oes/current/oes333051.htm

So we defund the local police and then bankroll tax collectors…. curious.

“…aggressive abroad and despotic at home.” Bobby Lee weeps as King George grins.

Not even trying to hide it anymore, are they. I will admit that there are people who try really hard to cheat on their taxes. And I will state the well known fact that billions of $s are siphoned out of the Treasury by undeserving recievers of “tax refunds”. However, I don’t see the need for a pencil pushing bunch of bean counters to be added to the private grubermint army. Known fact that the FIRST (ht 2 R-D) Revolution against a despot was over taxes. A less talked about reason for the Second American Revolution was taxes (read tariffs).

Fornicate about and discover. The ones of us that actually work for what we have are getting mad.

Looks like Mc Veigh and Stack were trying to tell us something. One blowing up a fed building and Stack flying his Piper cub into an irs building. Sounds like an omen now with the irs Gestapo being weaponized.

Todays “feel good” weapon (model of 1919) is a good example
of the IRS and ATF being joined at the hip.
Pretty soon you will need a tax stamp to posess (not own) just
about anything the feds deem taxable. Home, land, cash etc.
Glad I am old.

5JC

You already need a tax stamp to own a home, car and land. Then you pay more taxes every year on them.

I’ll give you the federal excise tax on tires.
No ATF connection there but just don’t try
to burn them in a brush pile….

Roh-Dog

Arms and ammo?

Waiting for the dotgov to tax per letter, maybe have a scheme to exempt speech for decreed individuals.

rgr769

Unbeknownst to the peeps, the Green New Deal Porkulus law to be passed in the House today contains an increase in the federal excise tax of one percent. So, you will pay the feds an extra $4.00 on each of those $400 tires for your truck or SUV. Guess taking more of our hard-earned dollars from us in taxes will theoretically reduce inflation because we won’t be able to afford many things, thus reducing demand. So, our money is worth less from inflation, plus the government wants to take more of it from us via taxes. 87,000 more IRS agents will insure the gov’t is certain to collect it from us.

McVeigh was an actual racist, psychotic nut job, terrorist who blew up kids. He was a compulsive gambler that was bad at it and then blamed taxes, of which he paid very little, on his financial difficulties. Like most terrorists he was also a sexually frustrated and angry at the whole world.

Joseph Stack either cheated on his taxes or was very bad at understanding how tax code worked, which for an engineer, would be a bit strange. The IRS did make his life shit and when it did he became suicidal and went the public route. All of that could have been avoided by paying his taxes.

Av8or33

I really hope that no one is going to start looking up to violent, damaged scumbags. These fuck bags do not represent patriots in any way. Murdering innocent people is not what a patriot stands for. Idiots that commit acts of violence like that only hurt our cause and strengthen our enemies.

They were scumbags narcissists that killed innocent people. Fuck them may they rot in hell.

Last time the IRS did a night raid (with help from FBI and DHS) was when they were going after Hunter Biden’s bud Ihor Kolomoyskyi back in 2017. He was the Ukrainian version of Bernie Madoff. That all got swept under the rug after the 2020 election. Kolomoyskyi is hiding out in his villain fortress equipped with shark tank in the Ukraine now. Night raids are a pretty rare thing due to the potential for things to go pear shaped fast.

One, this posting predates the wildly misnamed “Inflation Reduction Act” having been posted on February 1st. Two the posting on USAJobs shows that they are looking for 300 new hires for law enforcement positions. It is 300 too many but lets not fall prey to outrage bait which conflating this with any and all future IRS hires certainly is.
