Genn Youngkin bans critical race theory

Feels good to get the blue off. (Harris/Planetkram.com)

Governor Glenn Youngkin immediately took action on his first day in office. He signed a series of executive orders that did things like ban critical race theory in schools, giving parents the right to decide if their children will wear masks in school, and declaring that Virginia is open for business. Ralph Northam, before leaving office, pardoned a convicted pedophile as one of his final acts.

From the Post Millennial

The list of executive orders Youngkin signed are as follows:

  • Executive Order Number One delivers on his Day One promise to restore excellence in education by ending the use of divisive concepts, including Critical Race Theory, in public education.
  • Executive Order Number Two delivers on his Day One promise to empower Virginia parents in their children’s education and upbringing by allowing parents to make decisions on whether their child wears a mask in school.
  • Executive Order Number Three delivers on his Day One promise to restore integrity and confidence in the Parole Board of the Commonwealth of Virginia.
  • Executive Order Number Four delivers on his Day One promise to investigate wrongdoing in Loudoun County.
  • Executive Order Number Five delivers on his Day One promise to make government work for Virginians by creating the Commonwealth Chief Transformation Officer.
  • Executive Order Number Six delivers on his Day One promise to declare Virginia open for business.
  • Executive Order Number Seven delivers on his Day One promise to combat and prevent human trafficking and provide support to survivors.
  • Executive Order Number Eight delivers on his Day One promise to establish a commission to combat antisemitism.
  • Executive Order Number Nine delivers on his Day One promise to withdraw from the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative (RGGI).
  • Executive Directive Number One delivers on his fulfilling his Day One promise to jumpstart our economy by cutting job killing regulations by 25 percent.
  • Executive Directive Number Two delivers on his fulfilling his Day One promise to restore individual freedoms and personal privacy by rescinding the vaccine mandate for all state employees.

Yes Virginia, there is a Santa Clause.

I don’t know if you posted this before and I don’t know if I’ve read it elsewhere but this is certainly an underrated comment.
I almost and I say almost wanna move to Virginia. The lack of roadway infrastructure and the annual taxation on your vehicles are two of the things right off the top that would tell me no fucking way and the Springfield interchange. But this is a good start.
Now Maryland….. (yeah, no fucking way…)

ninja,
Excellent US highways (like US29), and cheap cigarettes.
Double 🙂

Also…. according to this CRT tracking website,
with individual pages for each state,
as of Nov 2021, there are
12 colleges teaching CRT, and
0 schools (K-12) teaching CRT in Virginia.
Look up YOUR state. 🙂

Underrated you say? Now you can rate them! 😉

The new Virginia AG has hit the deck running, too. Loudoun County School Board has some ‘splaining to do.

Hopefully it will lead to charges being filed for interfering with the first sexual assault investigation.

🙂

Graybeard

Northam felt sorry for the poor paedophile, locked up where he couldn’t be with those he loves.

Deckie

One man commits to improving Virginia while another sticks his thumb in the eye of the law, decency and personal morals on the way out the door.

Fuck you, Northam. Good riddance and hope you rot in hell.

This is what happens when common sense gets to work.

I do!

As someone who was born, raised, and lived most of my life in Virginia (minus three years in Japan), I was happy to see Glenn Youngkin, Winsome Sears, and Jason Miyares won the election. Since we were still living in Japan during the election, my mom and I did not vote in it (my aunt on the other hand did, and she voted straight ticket for Youngkin, Sears, and Myares). I kept checking Fox News every couple minutes to see if the race had been called yet. I was relieved when Youngkin had won.

I grew up in VA but live in NC now … I also kept checking Fox News on Election Night, mainly out of fear that another steal might occur, that the numbers “broke” for McAuliffe “at the last moment.”

Very pleasant surprise it was when Youngkin was declared the winner.

I too was very happy to see and hear the results, but I held my breath expecting the D-rats to do whatever they could to steal the election, including endless lawsuits like how Al Franken stole the US Senate seat in Minnesota.
