Also a Tesla sitting in camp mode uses 2.5% of it’s battery per hour. So a 16 hour wait on the interstate uses 44% of it’s battery or less than half of it’s energy supply.

Nope, sorry, that equation does not take into account ambient temperature. Lithium batteries rely on chemical reactions and cold weather slows and can even stop those reactions.
Also battery condition (as they are a rapidly consumable item) the ambient temp will also effect how much work the heat pumps attempt to do (see above). I don’t know how moisture mitigation works in the tesla battery packs but at low temps and a static position with snow around the road-to-vehicle-bottom is bad bid’ness.
Good stuff except for one thing. The new format has this insistent little symbol trying to prompt responses that is about as annoying as listening to the wise latina liar say how wise she is while lying.
Seriously does anyone need some screen prompt encouraging folks to comment that does NOT go away??
