It’s time once again, Delta Whiskies and Whiskettes, for Boomer’s Sunday, where I cull through his weekly offering of ‘toons, and pick the best. These are mostly from the right, with humor scattered around. I am more than willing to post up differing points of view if they don’t annoy me. Now what could be fairer than that? The CCP is already getting the Taliban sold on their “Belt and Road” initiative. The Taliban thinks it’s a good idea, as the Chinese promised them Chinese built infrastructures. This is going to come as hefty loans that the Chinese know that the Taliban will not be able to pay. To make matters worse, the infrastructures that the Chinese workers will build will be substandard and not worth the cost in the long run.
The Taliban will default on the loan, and the CCP will make huge demands on resources and attempt to get “99 year leases” on strategic territory.
As those familiar with China’s Belt and Road understand, this initiative is imperialism with Chinese characteristics.
Why was he looking at the watch?
That’s so bizarre. And stupid. There is no way he doesn’t know he was being disrespectful.
He doesn’t care. Just like he talked about nothing but himself with the widows and families of the fallen.
He was only there because he was expected to be and it happened to be a short trip from where he was hiding at home.
Chips-and-salsa is life. Why would you want ‘self control’ in that situation?!

FWIW, working for 20 years in TDCJ-ID, I’ve eaten prison food.
It is usually pretty good – if bad for you. Lots of fried food available.

Funny thing about this climate crisis… the world has been changing its climate for millions of years, or so paleontologists keep telling us, and humans have only been on it for a few thousand but suddenly we are the ones responsible for all the changes!!
Next thing people will be complaining about is that the Antarctic beach froze over and the Atlanteans were displaced!!!
