New book says General Milley was worried about a Trump coup, it was a ‘Reichstag Moment’
Before Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Mark Milley was trying to learn about “white rage”, he allegedly was concerned President Trump would stage a coup after his defeat in the 2020 election. The book is from two “journalists” at the Washington Post (the far-left rag that isn’t even good as a fish wrap). Despite making many quotes from General Milley, some of which directly slander Trump supporters as “Nazis”, it seems like it’s all based on anonymous sources.
Former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo is also quoted in the book, which he has now publicly refuted. Milley has yet to refute the claims and his office said he would not be making public comments on the book. That would tend to lead a reasonable person to believe that this vitriolic hate and demonization is something he agrees with.
Among calling Trump supporters “Nazis”, Milley worried about the military being used to stage a coup, thought MAGA rally attendees were the “modern American equivalent of ‘brownshirts in the streets,'” compared the Proud Boys to Nazis, said that “We’re going to put a ring of steel around this city and the Nazis aren’t getting in” for Biden’s inauguration.
More chilling than those statements attributed to General Milley are his comments on the potential for a coup. “They may try, but they’re not going to f**king succeed,” Milley reportedly said. “You can’t do this without the military. You can’t do this without the CIA and the FBI. We’re the guys with the guns.” That could be the single best response for why we have a Second Amendment. Remember that line. “We’re the guys with the guns” and they’re going to be hiding behind a “ring of steel”. Don’t go getting any ideas now.
Milley and company also allegedly discussed Trump using nuclear weapons after January 6. Use them on whom, they don’t say, but in the last couple of years prominent Democrats have suggested or implied that US nuclear weapons would be used on the American people should they rise up. Representative Swalwell (D-CA) in 2018 and just this year President Biden implied the same. So they’re not just the guys with guns, they’re the guys with guns, F-15’s, and nukes. Starting to sound like the fearmongering rhetoric employed by dictators, no?

According to reports the book ends with Milley telling former First Lady Michelle Obama that nobody has a bigger smile on his face than him while at Biden’s inauguration.

Miley says a successful coup is impossible without the CIA, the FBI and the military. Biden is the CIC, but a president’s hold on the military is dependent on his legal and moral obligations under the Constitution. Milley may think a coup is impossible without the CIA, the FBI and the military, but someone needs to tell him that a revolution isn’t.
In fact, in any conflict to eliminate rule by entrenched bureaucracy to restore this nation to its proper constitutional path, both the CIA and FBI would be primary targets. With the military, determining friend from foe would be more problematic, but the “woke” leadership would most definitely be purged.
