Iran- Unexplained Uranium Traces Found

| June 1, 2021

Iran President Hassan Rouhani

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) proved the blind chipmunk theory* Monday by announcing uranium traces have been found at several undeclared Iranian sites. “After many months, Iran has not provided the necessary explanation for the presence of the nuclear material particles at any of the three locations where the Agency has conducted complementary accesses,” IAEA chief Rafael Grossi said in a report.

In order to help explain this stunning news, Iran has decided to reduce the ability of the IAEA to conduct snap inspections at certain facilities.

Iran’s stockpile of enriched uranium has reached 3,241kg, nearly 12 times the limit set in the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), according to a quarterly report.

Iran fails to explain uranium traces found at several sites -IAEA report

By Francois Murphy

VIENNA (Reuters) -Iran has failed to explain traces of uranium found at several undeclared sites, a report by the U.N. nuclear watchdog showed on Monday, possibly setting up a fresh diplomatic clash between Tehran and the West that could derail wider nuclear talks.

Three months ago Britain, France and Germany scrapped a U.S.-backed plan for the IAEA’s 35-nation Board of Governors to criticise Iran for failing to fully explain the origin of the particles; the three backed off as IAEA chief Rafael Grossi announced fresh talks with Iran.

“After many months, Iran has not provided the necessary explanation for the presence of the nuclear material particles at any of the three locations where the Agency has conducted complementary accesses (inspections),” a report by Grossi to member states seen by Reuters said.

It will now be up to the three European powers to decide whether to revive their push for a resolution criticizing Iran, which could undermine wider negotiations to revive the 2015 Iran nuclear deal at talks currently underway in Vienna. Grossi had hoped to report progress before the board meets again next week.

A critical resolution will of course have exactly zero effect on Iran’s nuclear ambitions- the only question left is when will Iran actually test its own homegrown nuke. I’d say sometime before our 2024 presidential elections.

No doubt a sternly worded letter is in the offing…Iran has to be told they’re being naughty…

After all if you can’t trust the likes of France and Germany to do the honorable thing who can you trust?

Happy Tuesday.
If I have any thoughts it’s this.
If *anyone* in that area of the world tests anything “unusual”, then someone *else*, some place is going to test a bunch of low yield, tactical thingies all over that place, much alleviating the issue of anyone *else* testing anything of critical mass any place in that area of the planet.

I say we drop C-5s loaded with trillions of brood everything, genetically engineered cicadas all over some areas of the Middle East and then we can see how THEY fucking like it.

Cheers

“Brood everything”. ESPECIALLY brood pigs.

“brood pigs”? No such thing.

Would you like to know more? Just give me a heads-up and I’ll give you a lesson in swine language./s

I’m all for dropping as many feral hogs as we can into Iran, pigshit be upon them!

Okay, just a question here, because it’s relevant.

China has had its eyes on southwest Asia/Middle East for a long time now, as it is a huge potential source of rare earths that go into making all those supercool electronic things that most people everywhere take for granted. Never mind what comes out of Africa, AFghanistan and Iran and Iraq are awash in this stuff.

Since the modern world is quite dependent right now on those electronic toys we all take for granted now, what happens if the Chinese government decides to ditch its border squabble with India and go after those countries with that stuff to make more electronics available to sell to the rest of the world?

I posted some time ago an article specifying that China is very, very interested in Afghanistan and the USGS did a geological survey in Afghanistan of the minerals I’m referring to.

Since Iran has a reliable source of uranium to refine and make nukes, I’m sure the Chinese government knows about it and if China wants it, I do believe they’ll take it, regardless of cost.

So what would stop China from doing just that? Nothing.

Ret_25X

That China and the Norks are involved in the Iranian nuclear program is just common sense. The real question is whether they are attempting to appropriate the uranium or arm Iran to gain control over the gulf’s oil resources?

I’m sure that Iran’s forward progress in their research has NOTHING to do with a certain agreement allowing such progress.

Ex-PH2

‘…or arm Iran to gain control over the gulf’s oil resources.” Yah! Kuwait could easily become a target, along with all the Saudi oil fields, but that’s just for starters.
The only thing that separates China from Central Asia (e.g., Tajikistan, Azerbaijan and others) is the mountain range between the small countries of Central Asia and China’s western boundary.
Should be interesting to see what happens down the road.

Good Lord, you broke my Sarcasm detector way over here on the south side! Fortunately, I’ve got the sp air parts.

Too bad we can’t detect “uranium residue” in the sea of glass that the whole place needs to be turned into.

Too bad, too, that I can’t be surprised by this news.

Long wave carrier warble…”Minot this is Looking Glass, the target is lit, Say again the target is lit. You are cleared for launch.” Ominous hum.

At least the USA in now importing Iranian crude again.

Nice to know Iran has our back. Wonder what our money will buy in Iran… gifts for Hamas?

A Proud Infidel®™

Cash bribes for Biden, Family and company for starters.

SFC D

But we gave them all that cash! Why would they do such a thing? Save us, Lord Obama!

Hatchet

It’s not the generous $’s given, it’s the sanctions levied(you know; the sanctions Iran actually EARNED). Uh, that and the Iranians own special brand of fuckery – take your pick – their insistence on funding HAMAS and a bunch of other dick-heads… et-fucking-cetra… Sick of these backwater fucks. Frankly, I consider the Iranians and Saudis as equal opportunities – Nuke ‘em both from orbit. Fomp…

5JC

The problem is we just didn’t give them enough. Since it is the Federal Government we need to start doing tactical cash drops. Say a Billion dollars a day. We just rain it over Tehran every day with the Stealth Bomber. Maybe make it all in $1 bills so that we can cover more area. That will teach them. They will never build nuclear bombs to destroy Israel and the US ever again. They may even change their anthem from “Death to America” to “Death to Canada”.

Hatchet

$1 bills? Brilliant! Retrofit and repurpose a fuck-ton of old cluster-bomb casings, pack the fuckers so damn full they almost pre-emtively explode and ya know, the whole thing could be a ton of fun for everyone. As for Canukistan leadership – at the first wide-band press announcement(showing angry Iranian mobs chanting “Allah Akbar – Death to Canada, Death to Cana..”)- our deputy PM and former head of Global Affairs – would pout and look on at our much vaunted PM Justine who would proceed to titter, smile and make yet another dumb-ass comment, making Canada look even dumber in the world’s eyes than we already do. These days remembering the Deadpool/Ryan Reynolds line “Regina, Saskatchewan, the town that rhymes with fun!” helps me to keep a level gaze and maintain a modicum of pride in being Canadian…

Hatchet

One of my favourite 80’s jokes – ‘What’s flat, black and glows at Night?’ – ‘Tehran after Ronald Reagan take’s office’, Har…Wish the present POTUS could be as whimsically definitive – Biden seems to want to bargain with the Iranians? No derision just not clear to me what the Biden/Harris team is trying to accomplish/end-game. Apologies. I’m no political rocket scientist but given to Canada’s recent history with Iran – I do know what Neutron bombs are for and I do know how to employ them. Returning to my cold and distant Canukian perch now.

I remember as a kid, when the Iranian Hostage incident happened. My dad and some other GIs were wearing T-shirts with a Mushroom Cloud over Iran, with the this slogan “Made in America, Tested in Japan, Perfected in Iran”.

Don’t know who had them made up, but they disappeared as quick as the appeared. As we were stationed at Kadena AB, Okinawa at the time, and the “Tested Over Japan” understandably didn’t go over well with the Host Nation.

So they had another T-shirt made up with the “Nuke them til their asses glow, then use them for runway lights” slogan on them.

My stepmother has both those shirts packed away, with my dad’s other stuff that I’ll never see…..

Hatchet

Yeah, the “Tested Over Japan” – could be deemed to be a bit on the tasteless side(off-base/off-post)… But yours truly could definitely be convinced to wear a T-shirt that said “Nuke ’em til their asses glow, then use them for runway lights”, showing Slim Pickings ride’n the big-one down. *shrug* Could be good.

Mike B USAF Retired

I just remembered they had another T-shirt done also.

This one showed Mackey Mouse shooting the bird and saying “Hey Iran” or “Hey Iran F**k You”.

Weird how all this came back to me after all these years.

Hoping that the Saudis still work out a peace deal soon with the Israelis. The combination of Israel, UAE, Oman, Bahrain, and KSA will provide a pretty good deterrent against John Kerry’s Mullah Terrorist buddies in Tehran.

Meanwhile in The Iranian Navy, Remedial Damage Control Training will be carried out for the rest of the week.
