Do not try to mix an angry wife with meth production

| May 17, 2021

Christopher Walls served in the Long Branch Police Department. He faces allegations involving domestic disturbance, possessing meth making material and equipment, as well as having guns in a location that a child could access. (Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office)

Christopher Walls, with 19 years serving as a police officer, found this out the hard way. There apparently was a domestic disturbance at his place. The responding officers, his fellow police officers, discovered more than details of the disturbance complaint. They found evidence that Christopher Walls may have made meth. He also had six guns, non secured, at a location that a child could access.

From Fox News:

Someone in the house tipped off cops to the cop’s Walter White-like activity and found the ingredients and equipment for making meth in the basement and a shed, a statement from the prosecutor said.

Walls had books related to making meth, explosives and poison, the release said.

The officer was a 19-year veteran of the Long Branch department.

Police also found a stash of six guns, high-capacity magazines and ammo in an unsecured safe that could’ve been accessed by a child living in the house.

Local police worked with state police in the investigation, the prosecutor’s statement said.

“It is particularly distressing that this hazard was caused by a sworn law enforcement officer,” prosecutor Christopher Gramiccioni said in the statement.

Based on the resulting charges, Christopher Walls may be looking at 60 years in prison if he is convicted and given maximum sentences. Fox News has the details here.

Somebody got tired of seeing “the bad guys” getting all the profit from the failed war on drugs and attempted to cash in…

But he was dumb enough to do it at home…not at all a smart move.

Sounds like he’ll have plenty of time to reconsider.

Should have stuck to taking payoffs.

Well, 2 towns over from the current ghost town, but yeah, was pretty different back then. I even ran into a female Chaplain when I attended basic in ’86 at Ft Knox who went to and recently graduated from the the Chaplain school there as well, and ended up actually having something in common to talk about with a Chaplain for once.

What gets me is how much LBPD and actually threw this guy under the bus and drove over him several times, than how it may have been handled, say 10-15 years ago and the issue never saw the light of day.

He must have made a lot of enemies on the job in his 19 years.

“…high capacity magazines…” High Times? Mother Jones? Or were they the ones like Skytrooper gets…you know…for the interesting articles? How many kids are gonna know to look between the mattresses?

Dumbass don’t know that cops don’t fare well in prison? Shoulda stuck with just ripping off drug dealers. I hear that is a trend these days.

See, only here in NJ would the media consider him having scary assault mags a bigger issue than the fact he was a meth cooking cop.

Rule # 1 when engaging in Shady Shit To Supplement Your Income is don’t piss off your ex-wife (or soon to be ex-wife). Once she gets tossed from the gravy train that you are running, she’ll look for some payback. That’s how John Walker, who had no problem betraying his shipmates by passing on intel to the Soviets, got caught. Is his son still in prison?

AW1 Rod

Negative. That piece of shit was released in 2000, after serving only 15 years.

I would’ve braced the whole fucking clan against a wall, and shot them.

Anyone from the ‘only LEOs/Military should have guns’ department care to chime in?
Lemme stop you right there and issue a preemptive STFU.

Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. I wonder how soon Bubba, Thor, Julio and “Tiny Tyrone” will bust his cherry before they share him with the cell block? Ex-LE is at the bottom of the pecking order in any lockup!

Reminds me of a time that a Company Commander I served with got in a domestic with his wife. The MP’s came out and were going to arrest her so she then threw him under the bus for cheating on his APFT and Body Fat Analysis. We always figured he had been cheating, he was a fat fuck, but we never had any proof. He had also stolen a number of items and had them worked off his hand receipt and been fooling around with an E4 (that was what started the whole fracas). He ended up getting relieved by the end of the day.
