Happy Mother’s Day to all the Mothers here, and all of our own Mothers.
She’s somewhere in Heaven with Dad, back to holding hands while they sleep like they did for 60 years here on Earth.
Here’s a Mother’s Day story that I think is a great thing, but has enough politics to irk all sides if you’re grouchy.
Temo Juarez, a US Army veteran, had his wife, who came here as an undocumented immigrant when she was young, deported back in 2018, splitting their family apart. Now she’s being reunited with him here:

I’m not mad at the author, it’d be about as rational getting angry with a shark taking a surfer off a board.
Laws have consequences. If the Uniparty didn’t like what was going on they should’ve changed it, or the Marine’s Rep could have used influence to petition a Judge.
Bottom line, the Missus could have fixed her status ages ago (add to that, the idea of strata and class in justice would be irksome to any rational American).
I’m glad they’re back together, ultimately this situation rests on everyone but the Executive.
I’m trying to find some sympathy. Can’t do it. If you’re in the country illegally, you’re at risk of deportation. Your husbands service is irrelevant.
My satchel of sympathy is as empty as my barren field of …well you know.

I hear that there will be a “non-birthing person parent’s day” next month. I suspect that the word “mother” only appears as a prefix to the nominative case of the F-word in the Progressive Newspeak dictionary. The word “mother” is now a bad, rayciss, cis-genderist hate word, cuz we are told that female to male trannies can be mothers and thus can (or have given) birth. Thus we must accept the such “men” can give birth. Teh Stoopid is strong in the Prog collective. Like the Borg, their goal is to incorporate us all into their collective.
