Democrat Governor Andrew Cuomo instituting segregation at MLB games

| May 5, 2021

When he’s not making passes at subordinate females young enough to be his daughter and when he’s not forcing elder care facilities to take patients ill with a highly contagious disease that disproportionately affects the elderly Governor Andrew Cuomo (D-NY) is coming up with a lot of other great ideas. Take this one for example.

This summer, if you want to attend a Mets or Yankees game, you’ll be placed in segregated seating based on your COVID-19 vaccination status. I thought the whole point of getting vaccinated was so that we could get herd immunity. What he’s put in place is, like his order to nursing homes, going to lead to more people getting sick. He’s putting all the unvaccinated (and thus unprotected) together in one spot so they can share the same air. Meanwhile, over in Vaccination Land everyone’s protected (with ~95% efficacy). Mixing the vaccinated with the unvaccinated is the whole point for getting the vaccine!

Oh, and if you’re in Vaccination Land (where papers will be checked to ensure you’re protected against COVID) you still have to wear a mask. You’ll be segregated from all the unprotected people and still have to wear a damn mask. At an outdoor stadium. Madness I say!

NY Post reports;

Gov. Andrew Cuomo on Wednesday announced new rules for baseball fans in New York — saying the Mets and Yankees can open sections of their stadiums at full capacity May 19, but only for those who are fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

Separate sections of unvaccinated attendees at ballparks and other large venues across the Empire State will be restricted to 33 percent capacity, with social distancing of 6 feet, the governor explained during a press briefing at his Manhattan office.

All attendees will still be required to wear face masks at stadiums regardless of vaccination status.

If a person is vaccinated it’s “normal capacity,” Cuomo said. “Sit next to each other in a section, sit next to your friend, sit next to your family. Just normal capacity.”

Children under 16 — who have not yet been approved to receive any of the available COVID-19 vaccines in the US — can accompany vaccinated attendees, according to the governor.

The new rules will do away with the previous state mandate that required attendees to show proof of a negative COVID-19 test ahead of a game.

Additionally, the Mets and Yankees have teamed up with the state Department of Health so that attendees can get vaccinated with Johnson & Johnson’s one-dose shot at both Citi Field and Yankee Stadium during games, Cuomo said.

“We will set up at the game, a facility, as you’re going in, come a little bit earlier and get your vaccine at the game. You’re going to the game anyway. It’s on your way, stop and get a vaccine,” said Cuomo.

The new seating rules apply to any “large-scale outdoor event venues” in New York — including sports, performing arts and live entertainment, and horse and auto racing venues.

People seated in the vaccinated sections will have to provide proof of their full immunization status — either with an official paper vaccination record card, digital app or the state’s Excelsior Pass, Cuomo’s office said.

The governor insisted that the state’s new seating plan is “not segregation.”

No, it’s not segregation. In the great tradition of his Democrat forbearers Jim Crow policies, this is “Separate but equal.” You can choose whether to get the vaccine, but the state will now say where you may sit at a private venue to watch a private sporting event.

American by birth, but Floridian by choice…thank God! In True Blue Cities/States will still be masking up through the rest of 2021 and 2022. I went to my Planet Fitness today, and mask were suggested but not required. Some people wore them all the time, some only when moving between machines, and other like & Mrs. did not wear them at all. I had the COVID test for work (negative), and I give blood where test for COVID anti-bodies (Negative again), and I got the 1-shot J&J vaccine. most of the people I know are good to go on all those accounts, so I only wear a mask wear the business asks me to. I can see their point, and I can choose not to patronize their business if I so desire, but I do like shopping at Publix. Thank God I moved to Florida 26 years ago.

Do people still go to MLB games?

  3. The Other Whitey says:

So let’s just skip the pretenses and have the “vaccinated” wear red armbands. Those of us choosing not to partake will be required to wear an identifying symbol (like a six-pointed star, for example) to differentiate us from all the good upstanding Party members. Party members wearing their identifying red armbands will be encouraged to shame and denigrate those wearing the mark of the unvaccinated.

    Fauci Uber Alles!

“All US Vaccination Examination/Identity Statement” will be required, but they have to say ‘please’ to be polite. (Someone’s gonna twig, my money’s on Hondo or PH2).

It’s a shame he didn’t consider segregating elderly COVID-19 patients from the rest of the nursing home residents.

Pennsylvania’s dynamic duo of Gov. Wolf and Health Secr. Levine did the same,
which led to Pennsylvania’s nursing home counts.

If everyone remembers, Levine’s mother got pulled out of assisted living,
and placed into a hotel just before Pennsylvania’s outbreaks.

Wolf then went on to blame the President for this,
you know, due to national attitudes and policies,
and Levine is now a Biden appointee as national
Vice Secretary for the Department of Health.

Years ago, I thought, how many doctors and medical professionals
try to take these politically appointed posts seriously,
only to see them become a national joke?

Levine had his mother moved just before he signed off on orders to put Chicom Flu patients back in nursing and assisted living facilities. “These rules are for thee but not for me” is a recurring D-rat not so secret practice.

Maybe he is a racist wolf’s clothing. The MSM baiters have not been shy reporting that (supposedly) an inordinate percentage of vaccination shipments have gone to Rich, White People, in rich white areas.

Guess he is separating the serfs from the elite by race.

Dems……. going back to their “Roots”. 🙂

Normally I wouldn’t help the economy my western neighbors, but trend forecaster Gerald Celente is having a gathering in upstate NYS on 29MAY.
Other than patronizing that I wouldn’t give Albany any money I did’t have to.
Normally I would suggest you do the same but I have a feeling we’re all simpatico on this.

  13. Hondo says:

About disease prevention? Hardly. As noted in the article above, this “edict from Albany” will be counterproductive on that score.

About inducing compliance with governmental “recommendations” by making life otherwise difficult? Absolutely.

  14. QMC says:

Make the idiots that voted for his stupid ass stay up there.

Please stop moving to my state (NC) and trying to replicate the same crap here.

  15. USAFRetired says:

I was handed my COVID-19 Vaccination Card after getting mine. With a desktop publishing program and some cardstock I could duplicate easily. I wonder if there is a market for the blank cards? All entries on it were hand written with a ball point pen.

I’d like to sit on the jury of the individual charged with falsifying their vaccination status who’s defense was they were being discriminated against.
