Terrorists at the Border?

| April 8, 2021

A DHS press release didn’t promote the new administration’s narrative and was promptly ‘disappeared.’ Nothing important, really. Just an announcement that pair of folks from the Middle East were arrested crossing the border. These worthies happened to be on the terror watch list, so there’s that.

DHS deletes announcement of terror suspects arrested at border

By Stephen Dinan

Homeland Security has removed the press release announcing the arrest of two Yemeni men on the terrorist watch list.

The release was posted Monday, but by Tuesday morning it was no longer available. An archived version is still available at the Internet Archive.

The deletion sparked questions on Capitol Hill.

“Why did you take down your previously public tweet & press release announcing that two people on the terror watch list were apprehended exploiting President Biden’s open border policies?” demanded the Republicans on the House Homeland Security Committee.

“Transparency in name alone is not transparency,” said the Republicans, who are led by ranking member Rep. John Katko.

Customs and Border Protection, which oversees the Border Patrol, didn’t respond to multiple inquiries.

Nothing to see here, Citizen. Move along. Read the entire article here: Washington Times

The announcement was deleted because it doesn’t fit the Biden-Harris narrative that the only people coming across the border are simple, honest working people looking for the American dream.

    Yea, right.

  2. ChipNASA says:

And how about this couple of fine fellows…

I bet they are being considered for WH Cabinet positions.
Maybe they can be considered for positions such as being heads of The Department of Children and Youth and/or Department on Policies for Crime and Justice.

Alleged MS-13 gang member was caught as well. Thing is how many are missed for every shady dude caught? CBP estimates well over 100K individuals have slipped through undetected – the ‘get aways’. If just 1% are terrorist linked or gangsters like MS-13 – that’s over a 1000 people. Why does DHS exist? I though it was homeland security, but could be wrong.

And cue the arguments of “the fact they caught these guys is proof the system is working”.

Yeah, I’m pretty sure Ginger Goebbels gibbered something like that at the daily press briefing.

You and I both listed to Derek Hunter on WCBM (probably) I think.

I’ve pretty much stopped watching TV, movies and listening to the radio. I peruse my news feeds and occasionally check the local paper. Add a dollop of podcast here and there.

I’m a much happier and healthier person now.

They are, technically, being transparent. You just have to look really fast to see it. Kinda like any other magic trick.

  6. Mason says:

They’re “transparent” in the same way that the Obama Admin was the “most transparent”. Even the WaPo fact checked that as wrong. https://www.washingtonpost.com/lifestyle/style/obama-promised-transparency-but-his-administration-is-one-of-the-most-secretive/2016/05/24/5a46caba-21c1-11e6-9e7f-57890b612299_story.html

  7. Veritas Omnia Vincit says:

The last Biden was in the White House he was part of the least transparent administration in many, many years…

That his current administration with him at the helm (theoretically at least) will be rather opaque instead of transparent is of no surprise to me, nor should it be to anyone else who’s been paying attention.

These are the same people who happily went along with locking up a guy over a shitty internet video while blaming him for a 9-11 attack in Libya.

Honesty is not a Biden strongpoint, and transparency from a Democrat an unlikely condition of governance.

If they could use absentee ballets they would not have to sneak in to vote.

Hell is already here, Little Lady…and it’s almost Breakfast Time. Read William Forstchen’s Day of Wrath. They deleting any news on the Border situation except that it is Trump’s Fault.
