Pentagon orders the military to combat climate change
The new administration and the new Secretary of Defense are commanding the US military to tackle their biggest enemy yet, the world’s weather.
The Pentagon will begin incorporating climate analysis into its war-gaming and analysis efforts as well as featuring the issue as part of its future National Defense Strategy.
The announcement by Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin came shortly after President Joe Biden signed a series of executive orders targeting the climate crisis.
The Defense Department “will immediately take appropriate policy actions to prioritize climate change considerations in our activities and risk assessments, to mitigate this driver of insecurity. As directed by the President, we will include the security implications of climate change in our risk analyses, strategy development, and planning guidance,” Austin said in a statement.
“As a leader in the interagency, the Department of Defense will also support incorporating climate risk analysis into modeling, simulation, wargaming, analysis, and the next National Defense Strategy. And by changing how we approach our own carbon footprint, the Department can also be a platform for positive change, spurring the development of climate-friendly technologies at scale.”
“There is little about what the Department does to defend the American people that is not affected by climate change,” Austin concluded. “It is a national security issue, and we must treat it as such.”

This is all part of a massive Biden Administration strategy to combat climate change by destroying American energy independence, buying an all electric vehicle fleet, and committing to the idea of “environmental justice”. The latter is a theory that apparently even the weather is racist. Though according to at least one Democrat (still in office by the way), it’s the Jews who control the weather.

And I thought it was a pain in the ass when we went to NTC and had to break down our MREs into different clear trash bags of cardboard, plastic, and other, and make sure every MRE heater was used. Of course we were told that was Comiefornias rules, nice to see the West coast is goin to ruin everything else.
I’m sure the “climate analysis” will get reduced to either a single bullet point in the operations order, or become some horrible mess governed by conflicting unit, Corp, DA/DOD policy/regulations.
About the only thing I can do about the weather is adjust the thermostat and decide whether a jacket is needed to step outside. Can any of us do anything other than react to the weather?

I have a recollection the Obama admin. had the AF and Navy buying jet fuel made from algae or some such biological source. Cost about $16/gallon. I expect that idea to resurface any day now.
Of course it will. The profit margins on the supposed eco-friendly fuels are at least four times higher than dino fuels.
And where exactly are forward deployed vehicles supposed to get their green fuel? Probably only one or two refineries make the fuel, and it is a total coincidence that they are major Democrat contributor, so a terrorist just needs to disable one tanker and the entire military fleet of aircraft, motor vehicles and aircraft are deadlined.

I just wanted it noted that Residents of Chicago, and other formerly American cities, have been combatting climate change for a long time. On every holiday, championship game win and sundry Tuesdays they shoot as many clouds as they can spot in the sky.
Course, the ensuing precipitation can be lethal. But I’m sure Dear Leader will direct The Departs Defense Leaders to come up with a solution. Perhaps Kevlar umbrellas?

The military gots this. A War College Study in 2015 indicted that the solution is to nuke the planet from orbit. This will trigger a nuclear winter that will lower the planet temperature for decades and end all green house gas production. It is the only way to be sure.
