Biden overrides Trump EOs

| January 21, 2021

Biden, his pen(s), and his phone(s)

Ol’ Joe had a busy day yesterday. After his inauguration, attended by literally dozens of people, he redecorated the Oval Office (removing the bust of Churchill and putting up portraits of FDR and Cesar Chavez), and then got to work governing as his mentor President Obama had. With pen in hand and phones at the ready, President Biden signed 17 Executive Orders, proclamations, and directives, rolling back much of the Trump legacy.

Biden’s eight EOs is vastly more than any other recent president on their arrival in office. George W Bush signed none on his first day and his 8th wasn’t issued until 03/09/01 (more than four months after taking office). Barack Obama signed two on his first day and his 8th was issued on 01/30/09.  Donald Trump signed one on his first day and his 8th on 02/03/17. One could easily say Biden’s assault against Trump’s EOs is unprecedented. Ironic because only minutes earlier he had made a proclamation calling for “unity.”

So what’s in the Biden agenda for day one?

As expected, he rejoined the Paris Climate Accords, cancelled the travel ban from countries who like to export terrorism (this one also requires the visa process to be expedited, which I’m sure won’t result in any corners being cut), made a mask mandate for federal property and all federal employees (with no apparent common sense exemption for people who are alone like the postal carrier driving a route or those using federal land that are miles away from another person like you do when camping), rejoined the World Health Organization (whose spectacularly abysmal response to the current pandemic led Trump to leave), and recommitted to the DACA program.

That wasn’t enough national security changes, so he’s halting the national emergency at the border and cancelling the construction of security barriers, is moving to make the US less energy independent, and is going to include those residing in the United States illegally for apportionment of Congressmen (by the left’s logic this lessons the voting power of actual Americans).

Lastly, he’s Advancing Racial Equity and Support for Underserved Communities Through the Federal Government. Part of that rescinds the Trump Administration’s ban on the leftist, racist “diversity training.” Said training was stopped by the Trump Administration because;

“It has come to the president’s attention that executive branch agencies have spent millions of taxpayer dollars to date ‘training’ government workers to believe divisive, anti-American propaganda,” OMB director Russell Vought wrote in a memo to agency leaders.

“For example, according to press reports, employees across the executive branch have been required to attend trainings where they are told that ‘virtually all White people contribute to racism’ or where they are required to say that they ‘benefit from racism.’ According to press reports, in some cases these training have further claimed that there is racism embedded in the belief that America is the land of opportunity or the belief that the most qualified person should receive a job.”

So let’s get back to the anti-white people indoctrination. Now clap you stupid bastards!

Be funny if Trump’s initials where carved into that desk.
Even funnier if Biden finds a piece of ABC gum…on the chair.

The first thing that Hack Stone notices as soon as Joe Biden was installed as the Puppet President is that Hack’s cell phone was blown up yesterday with dozens of spam phone calls. And he has been in office for over 24 hours, yet he has not cured cancer yet. Already breaking his campaign promises.

I really do need to re-enforce that North Wall. Everything else is a ready as it can be.

The good news is I have a contract on FOB Elizabeth. Lady from Northern Virginia is making a strategic retreat South before she is caught completely behind enemy lines. Leaving Manassas with her 2 Scotty Dogs, but leaving her indoctrinated offspring behind. I’ll use the extry assets for more consumables. Speaking of which, What’s Cooking for Thursday? Had some biscuits with sausage and gravy to tide me over a bit ago.

Cesar Chavez bust in the Oval Office?

    Hmmm.

I seem to remember that Chavez was not a fan of illegal immigration. Something about their taking jobs away from his guys.

    • SFC D says:

Cesar Chavez’s border patrol was not nearly as polite as ours but very effective. Nothing makes an illegal alien decide to stay on his side of the border like a United Farm Workers beat-down.

A co-worker just spoke with her husband, he’s with a company working on the border fence in Texas. They were just given 7 days to pack up and leave. All work stops immediately. DEFCON level at D’s Cantina has just gone up.

      • Green Thumb says:

I wonder how much money it is going to cost to remove it?

Palin’ “Bridge to Nowhere” is looking cheap.

Right now Unions are much happier with Biden than they expected to be. He already revered some of Trump’s anti union polices and fired Trump’s shitbag anti union Labor Relations board general counsel.

Biden has a long history of corporate centrism. So unions are happier than they expected to be after the first day.

Regardless of the source, it is an indisputable fact that Biden stopped the XL Pipeline and the border wall, putting thousands of well paid workers, many of them union members, out of jobs.

And he did it purely as political payback to leftist eco-freaks, not for sound economic reasons.

        Bad Start Biden, indeed…

      • HMCS(FMF) ret says:

  12. Commissar says:

The problem with ruling through executive actions is everything you “accomplished” can be undone by executive action

Much of what Obama did was undone through executive actions or cabinet departmental administrative policy changes by the Trump administration as well.

    • SFC D says:

Thank you for the 7th grade civics lesson. And much of what Obama attempted via EO was undone by that damned constitution. “I have a phone and a pen” isn’t governance. It’s the actions of a wannabe dictator.

      • Commissar says:

        It is not a dictatorship.

It is executive power. If it wasn’t they could challenge it.

Which happened to a lot of Trump actions.

We have a dysfunctional congress where about 1/3 of the house and 1/5 of the senate literally does not share the same reality and set of facts as the rest of the United States.

And even among the rest we are so political divided that the only time there is bi-partisan consensus is when they are fulfilling the wishes of major donors that donate across the aisle.

        • SFC D says:

I said wannabe dictator. Figure it out from context. Or, work on your reading comprehension.

        • 5JC says:

“We have a dysfunctional congress where about 1/3 of the house and 1/5 of the senate literally does not share the same reality and set of facts as the rest of the United States.”

You are making a number of bad assumptions there. I’d explain it to you but you likely wouldn’t understand.

    • Devtun says:

Well, Congress has largely ceded governance to the WH. Congress critters want to get reelected. Better to make as few decisions as possible, and limit anything that could blow back on them. Let the president sign EOs, and take the hit on unpopular policy.

      • Commissar says:

        Yep…

Our congress is mostly to blame for this issue.

        • OmegaPaladin says:

Who are you and what did you do with the real Commissar?

It is remarkable how much power has been given to the executive. We have vast quantities of rulemaking and regulations that are essentially legislation from the executive branch. Meanwhile, the legislative branch keeps on failing to even pass a budget.

          • 5JC says:

Don’t be silly. We are now in the era of the POTUS does no wrong again. Lots of things just changed.

All those far left riots that happened yesterday? Totally didn’t happen.

POTUS at a gathering and didn’t wear a mask? That didn’t happen either.

    • Mike Gunns says:

O’Biden just signed the order to put America back in the Paris Climate Accord. Unfortunately for him and fortunately for us, he doesn’t have the power to do that. And neither did Obama when he did it. The President can ask for a treaty to be instituted, but for it to go into effect, it needs a two thirds Senate vote to ratify. Neither biden, nor the Dems have the votes.

  13. E4 Mafia '83-'87 says:

China Joe is off to quite a start. In two strokes of the pen (but not a tween-agers hair), he killed 1,000 high paying Union jobs on Keystone XL Pipeline (maybe than can learn to code according Pete Butt-plug) and women’s/girls’ sports by wanting to let trans “girls” play with the ladies.

    • Hack Stone says:

What the hell are you talking about? Joe Biden is Job Creating Machine. He was able to get someone who failed drug rehab multiple a job in a Ukrainian energy company that paid over $50,000 a month, despite that drug addict having no experience in the energy industry or knowledge of The Ukraine. Just imagine what kind of job that he can get for some experienced in the energy industry who could pass a drug test.

    https://www.foxnews.com/politics/fauci-says-biden-reversing-trump-rule-barring-taxpayer-dollars-to-overseas-abortion-providers

“Top infectious disease expert Dr. Anthony Fauci announced Thursday that President Biden will roll back a Trump-era policy that banned taxpayers’ dollars from going to international groups that perform abortions or provide abortion information.”

“Fauci, the newly appointed chief medical adviser to Biden, said the move was in line with the new administration’s undertaking to support and strengthen health care systems around the world.”

“It will be our policy to support women’s and girls’ sexual and reproductive health and reproductive rights in the United States, as well as globally,” Fauci said at the World Health Organization executive board meeting on Thursday.”

“To that end, President Biden will be revoking the Mexico City policy in the coming days, as part of his broader commitment to protect women’s health and advance gender equality at home and around the world.”

        https://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2021/jan/21/jen-psaki-says-its-time-to-remind-room-that-biden-/

“Well, I think we’ll have more to say on the Mexico City policy in the coming days,” Ms. Psaki replied. “But I will just take the opportunity to remind all of you that he [Biden] is a devout Catholic, and somebody who attends church regularly,” Psaki digressed. “He started his day attending church with his family this morning, but I don’t have anything more for you on that.”

        • Mason says:

Being a devout Catholic isn’t something you do by lip service alone. It’s a way of living. If you’re not living the life, then you can’t claim to be a devout Catholic.

This is no different than being an open racist (like Biden) and saying something like “I have a lot of black friends, so I’m no racist.”

  15. ninja says:

    And another one…

“Biden Executive Order Says Schools Should Include Transgender Athletes In Girls’ Sports”:

    https://www.foxnews.com/politics/biden-executive-order-schools-transgender-athletes-girls-sports

“Biden in an executive order aimed at “preventing and combating discrimination on the basis of gender identity or sexual orientation,” is calling on schools across the country to allow transgender athletes to participate in the sport of their gender identity.”

“Children should be able to learn without worrying about whether they will be denied access to the restroom, the locker room, or school sports,” reads the new order, released on the first day of his presidency.”

“The order is a strong signal that the Justice Department is going to enforce it via Title IX — and schools that don’t comply risk losing funding”.

    • Green Thumb says:

That will be tied up in the courts for a while.

Especially if the effected can prove that some women lost out on scholarships, etc. to colleges / universities because of it.

    • Mason says:

I foresee a lot of girls sporting records being absolutely smashed by these new “girls.” Like an East German women’s Olympic team.

      • Ex-PH2 says:

The East German women’s Olympic teams were real women who were forced by the East German government to submit to male hormone injections so that they could win at track and other sports.
They are still, after all this time, affected physically and mentally by what was done to them.

  16. ninja says:

    Someone left this comment:

    Biden’s to-do day 1:

✔️Fund overseas abortions with US tax money

✔️Allow boys identifying as girls to play women’s sports

✔️End 11,000 jobs and energy independence

Biden wants 100 day mask mandate on fed property. So what does Biteme & family do at the Lincoln Memorial? Yes sirree – go maskless. Press Secy explains that Biden was in a celebratory mood. Yep, that’s my excuse if the feds put the bracelets on me for forgetting to wear a mask on gov’t property or on the interstate. What a joke.

    • Ex-PH2 says:

  21. Hack Stone says:

His first day in office and 11,000 union workers lose their jobs. Hack Stone is still trying to figure out why his brother who belongs to a union votes Democrat. Not to mention that his stand on illegal immigration will depress wages for American workers while simultaneously increasing their tax burden to pay for all of the services required to sustain the illegal aliens.

    • HMCS(FMF) ret says:

“Come on and vote for me you dog face workers and I’ll give you what you really want!”

When will workers realize that the unions don’t give a fuck about them, it’s about their “union dues”?
